Arthur's arms are holding me. "Merlin open your eyes!" His voice is full of panic. I slowly open them and see his face. "Arth..." I try to say but the wound on my stomach hurts so bad. "Why?! You idiot why did you do that?!" He presses a hand on the wound to stop the bleeding without success. I remember Morgana trying to kill Arthur with the sword, me taking it instead of Arthur, me killing Morgana, then I fell on the ground. "I had to protect you..." I say and I see tears in his eyes. "Merlin, please don't go!" He shouts as my eyes close again. "Merlin please! I love you! I love you idiot!" He says and then I feel his lips on mine. They're soft and warm, tears streaming down his face. I look at his eyes and smile. "Arthur..." I begin to say. "I..." Then my eyes close for the last time.
