Alli's POV~
I was in love with him. Age doesn't matter I know what love is. Love is when you love someone enough you will do everything in your power to make sure they are happy. That summer when I was 12 I realized that that's what Thomas was to me. More than a friend. That summer I realized I loved Thomas. And honestly that scared me more than anything.
(Fastforward three years)
5-4-3-2-1 SCHOOLS OUT!!!!!!
It's finally summer. I seriously don't think I could take any longer here. I run out to my locker and grab my bag and sprint to the parking lot. My best friend Thomas is driving me today. I start run over to his car but something I see stops me. Thomas is in his car. But so is someone else. Normally I be ok with that but it's a girl. An they're kissing. I bit my lip and turn in the other direction. I'm walking home today.
Thomas's POV~
I'm actually in my car on time. That's a first. Alli will be happy. I'm waiting on her until the cheer squad runs past. The short blonde stops at my car. "Hey !" she says super perkily. "Hey, Im Thomas." I say back. "I'm Olivia!" She says back, "we have art together right?" "Yeah! I knew you looked familiar." She says with a laugh. We talk for the next few minutes. She's actually really sweet. The way she's looking at me is driving me crazy. Next thing I know my lips are on hers. As we kiss I notice someone out of the corner of my eye. Ahh who knows. I ask Olivia if she needs a ride. She says she does and I open the door for her. We drive off together laughing and listening to the radio.
Alli's POV~
I'm trudging along the 5 mile walk to my house. Just thinking about everything. Well not everything just the scene I witnessed 20 minutes before. The girl was Olivia Smith from my theatre arts class. She's super rude and acts like she owns the place. She's a terrible actress too. Why would Thomas go for a girl like her? He's nice and down to earth. For Pete's sake! We make fun if her kind! The populars are the reason for 90% of our laughter. But the real question haunting my mind is why would he do this to me? I thought he was my best friend....
