Yan. Yan ang daily scenario sa buhay ng isang Zharmella Jacinto-Arriola. Isang tweet lang, kung anu-anong masasakit na salita ibabato sa kanya. Wala naman syang magawa tungkol dito. If only they knew... she thought. It's May 2013 now. Ilang taon na ba silang hiwalay ni Daniel Padilla? It's been two years. Two. Mthrfcking. Years.
Nakamove on na ako. Well, not totally. As the saying goes, "You can't stop loving a person. The emotion just grows less and you just get used to living life without them." Of course she still has feelings for THE Daniel Padilla. Sino ba naman ang hindi manghihinayang? Daniel Padilla na, eh. Na sayo na, papakawalan mo pa ba? Isa't kalahati kang tanga kung gawin mo yan! Pero wala eh. Nangyari na. Siya na nga nagpa-ubaya, siya na nga nagsacrifice, siya na nga ang sumuko... And this is what she gets? Hate tweets? Bashers? This is too much, she tought. Di naman nila alam ang totoong nangyari pero kung makapaghusga akala nila kilala nila ako.
She lost the man she loves. Not only that. She lost her BESTFRIEND as well. She wasn't referring to DJ. She was referring to Kath. Kathryn Bernardo. Nardo. Mara. Bebs. All because of a guy, she lost Kathryn. Why? Because of rumors. Rumors started by desperate haters who wanted to destroy her because they saw her as a threat to the rising tandem ng KathNiel. As a girlfriend, she wanted what was best for DJ. She supported him. She was his number one fan. WAS. Yes, was. For she wasn't his number one fan now. Si Kathryn na. Si Nardo na ang number one fan nya. Ang girlfriend nya. Yes, they didn't say anything about them being together but actions speak louder than words, right?
Just recently, she had dinner with some high school friends--Roselle, Mariko, Ainah, at the like. But of course there was no Kathryn Bernardo. Everyone was enjoying, talking and catching up with each other. But not Zharm. She wasn't enjoying much. She wasn't even eating much. She was just sitting quietly.
"Z, are you okay?" Arianna, one of her closest friend asked her.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Sumakit lang ulo ko, A." She replied. Actually, di naman talaga masakit ang ulo nya. Marami lang talagang tumatakbo sa isip nya ngayon. Naisip nya... What if di kami nagpadala ni Kath sa mga intriga? Bestfriends parin kaya kami? Hayyy..
"Lalim ng iniisip mo ah." Andrew, one of her closest friends told him. He was part of the ZAK tandem. Zharm, Andrew & Kath. They were BFFFFFFFFFFFs. Yes. They were that close. In fact, para silang magkakapatid.
"Drew, I miss Nardo." Zharm blurted out softly. Andrew was shocked. Akala ko ba Zharm hated Kath? What.. what?
"Really? I thought you hated her? After...you know. DJ.." Andrew said. They were talking softly. Alam kasi ni Andrew na ayaw ni Zharm na pinaguusapan yung ganitong bagay. This was actually the first time she talked to anyone about this.
"That's stupid. I would never hate her. After all, she was my bestfriend. Marami kaming pinagsamahan. I just can't believe all these happened. Yes, there were times na halos isumpa ko sya. Pero, Drew, I don't hate her. Nagalit siguro, pwede pa. But not hate. Sana pala di ko sinabi kay Kath na magpromise sya na di sya mahuhulog kay DJ. I was so selfish. I didn't care about Kath's feelings. I should have known better. Alam mo yun? Feelings kasi ni Kath yung pinag-uusapan dito. Any girl would fall for DJ. Gwapo. Maalaga. Gentleman. I should have seen it coming. Sana tinanggap ko nalang At least si DJ lang mawawala sakin. Pero what happened? Baliktad yung nagawa ko. Nawala na nga si DJ sakin, nawala pa si Kath. I miss my bestfriend so much, Drew. I miss Nardo. I miss Mara." By this time, Zharm was sobbing softly. Laking pasasalamat nalang ni Andrew na they were in a dark corner. Andrew caught a glimpse of Arianna looking at them so he made a signal that everything was okay. Honestly, Andrew had no idea on how to comfort Zharm so he just wapped his arm around her as she cried silently on his shoulder.
"Magtiwala ka lang, Zharm. Magiging ayos din ang lahat. Maybe in time, mabalik ang lahat sa dati. Marami lang siguro ang nasaktan. Syempre nabasa ni Kath yung tweets mo. If I were in Kath's place syempre masasaktan din ako. Pero sssh tahan na. Zharm baka isipin nila pinapaiyak kita. Minus pogi points din yun no!" Andrew said as he was trying to lighten up the atmosphere.
Zharm gave out a soft laugh. "Gago. Haha." sabi ni Zharm sabay siko tagiliran ni Andrew. "Ouch!" he exclaimed
"Pero yeah. You know what, Drew? For the first time, may sense ang sinasabi mo. Haha! Kidding. Anyway. Yeah, you're right. Kasalanan ko naman talaga in the first place. Naunahan lang ako ng galit that time. I felt betrayed eh. Pero pweh. That was 2 years ago. Sabi pa nga ng 'bashers' ko sa twitter, 'move on teh!'" Nakuha pang magbiro na Zharm. She laughed softly while wiping her tears. She thanked Andrew for making her feel better and left for the bathroom to wash her face. It was pretty obvious that she's been crying. Ayaw naman nya na mag-alala ang mga kasamahan. When she went back to their table, they were all staring at her. Zharm felt uncomfortable. Halata ba na umiyak ako? Omg. Gawa ka ng palusot Zharmella dali!!!
"What? First time nyo makakita ng maganda? Hahaha!" Arianna and the other girls burst out laughing. "Bitch!" Arianna told her while laughing. The jolly & confident Zharm Arriola was back. She looked at Andrew who was on the other side of the table with the other boys and mouthed "Thank you." He gave her a smile as a reply. It was a long night. They were bringing back memories of their high school life while laughing.
"Hahaha! Naalala ko lang when we were in second year tapos Cassie slipped sa corridors! Akala namin it was an accident yun pala sinadya nila Zharm & Kath kasi may tinatagong galit sa malanding babaeng yun. Grabe talaga! HAHAHAHA!" Mariko blurted out. But there was silence. Walang tumawa. It was only then when Mariko realized what she just said. "Ayyy... Z... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. Nadala lang ako. Sorry talaga." she apologized. Then Zharm bursted out laughing. Lahat sila nagtataka. Why did she laugh? Di ba sya na-aawkward? "No, it's okay Mars. I don't mind at all. Hahahahaha. Nakakamiss rin pala no?" Zharm said with a dreamy look. it was as if she was reminiscing. "Yung alin, bebe? High school or si Kath?" Roselle said. This is gonna be the first time na pag-uusapan namin to...if ever sagutin ni Zharm they all thought. Arianna nudged Roselle. "Selle!" she hissed. "What?" Roselle asked her as if there was nothing wrong with her question.
"Actually...both." Zharm said with a sad smile. "Miss ko na si Kath eh. Miss ko na yung bestfriend ko na may nakakahawang tawa." Zharm said as she sighed heavily.
"Uhmmm... we better get going. Late na oh. Magcocommute lang kami eh. Guys? Let's go?" sabi ni Arianna. "Yeah" everyone else agreed. Arianna didn't like what was going on. Ayaw na ayaw nyang nakikita si Zharm na ganon. She looked so fragile. Andrew asked for their bill. It reached almost 15k. That wasn't a problem. They were all rich. "Ako na bahala. My treat, guys." Zharm said. Nothing new. Nasanay na sila. Galante talaga si Zharm. She was rich. No scratch that. She was filthy rich. And spoiled. But behind all that she had a good heart. Nagpasalamat silang lahat Zharm then left except for Roselle and Zharm of course.
"Selle? Aren't you going home yet?" Zharm asked.
"Nope. I'm waiting for my dad. We're going somewhere pa kasi eh." Roselle answered. And again, there's the silence. It's now or never, Roselle. Ask her now. Roselle thought. She sighed and faced Zharm.
"Z... If you don't mind me asking. Kung bibigyan ka ba ng chance na ayusin ang lahat, I mean mend your friendship with Kath and starts again as friends with DJ, would you do so? Pero kung di mo kaya sagutin yung tanong, it's okay. I understand." Roselle asked her. It took almost a minute before Zharm answered her. "No, it's okay Roselle. Honestly... I...I don't know." Zharm answered her. There she goes again. Naiiyak na naman sya. And just in time... *Beep beep*
"Umm, Selle, una na ako ah? Dad's here na eh. You take care, sweetie." Nagbeso muna sila bago umalis si Zharm. When she reached home, she entered her room right away. Agad syang humiga sa higaan at nag-isip. She was thinking about what Roselle said. "Hindi pa ba ako makikipag-ayos? It's been 2 years. Siguro naman sapat na space na yun for everything. Aaaah!!! Maloloka na ako! Lord! I need a sign!!!" sabi ni Zharm sa sarili. She was ranting in her room. Laking pasasalamat nya sa magulang nya at soundproof ang kwarto nya. Kung may nakakakita lang sa kanya ay aakaling baliw to. She didn't know what to do now. So she took out her MacBook and tweeted.

I need a sign!!!! She kept telling herself. She decided to open her ask.fm which she haven't opened for centuries. Then her heart stopped. There was this question that captured her attention. Lord, ito na ba yung sign? she asked.

Whoever this anon was, she was very thankful. She breathed deeply and typed her answer.
"YES." and she clicked publish. This time, she was sure of her decision.
She dialed Kath's number. Her heart was beating fast. Sobrang kinakabahan sya. This is gonna ba the first time na maguusap sila after 2 years.
"H-Hello? Zharm..."
That was Kath. Naiyak na sya. She misses her bestfriend soooo much. But she didn't want her to notice it. She cleared her throat and tried to sound firm on the phone.
"Ummm.. Kath? Can we talk tomorrow?"

"Please?"
"Zharm..."
"Kath please? I want to talk to you about something. It's really important."
"Ummm wait. I'll check my sched. What time & where?"
"Around...3pm at Gloria Maris? Sa may GH."

She was nervous. Sana pumayag si Kath. Ghaaad. She was desperate now. Narinig nya si Kath sa kabilang linya. "Ate Jane, may sched po ba ako bukas by 3pm?" "Yes bunso. May photoshoot kayo ni DJ para sa GTB." "Bukas na ba yon? Pwede po ba ipamove yung sa ikalawa? I have to meet someone important eh." "Sge bunso. Sino ba ikakakita mo?" "Yayyy!!! Thanks ate! Umm.. my be...friend. An old friend. :)" "O sge. Kasama mo ba si DJ?" "Ahh... I don't know. Sge, thanks ate."

Kathryn was nervous and at the same time happy. She was nervous because of what may happen and she was happy because... ewan. Nakaramdam lang sya ng saya nang makausap nya ang dating kaibigan. She misses Zharm. Who wouldn't miss an old friend? Bestfriend pa.

"Pottie. Why are you here?"
"Sabi ni ate Jane nagrequest ka raw kung pwede ipamove yung pictorial ng GTB kasi may pupuntahan ka raw?"
Kath gave out a big grin.

"What?! Saan? Sino yan? Ba't di ko alam? Ba naman! Baka...ano... Baka makita ka ng media! Tama! Ano nalang sasabihin nila? Tsss"
Kath was enjoying this. It was pretty obvious na nagseselos ito.
"Woah. Calm down, Mister. I'm going out on a date! Porket artista ako di na ako pwede makipagdate? As far as I can remember, ang alam ng PUBLIC single ako. Why not?"
Yes, Kath & Daniel are in a relationship. Magfo-fourteen months na nga sila, eh.

Kathryn was laughing now. She was enjoying this.

"Gusto mo sumama?"

'HAHAHAHA! Bakit, Pottie? Alam mo ba kung sino imemeet ko bukas?"

DJ leaned over and gave her a peck. Normal na sa kanila to. They were a couple right? And alam naman nila ang limitations nila.

"Anong Mama Min Mama Min? DJ ah. Nasasanay ka na."
"Okay lang po, TITA Min. Wala naman akong balak tapusin eh." DJ grinned
"Ikaw bata ka! Isusumbong na talaga kita kay Karla!"

"Tita Min naman! Wag ganon? Alam nyo naman boksingero si mama! Tita ayoko mag taping na puro pasa sa katawan! Minus pogi points yun!"

Kath just giggled. She was amused. DJ was confident around her and Tita Min. Legal na kasi sila. Hindi lang masabi sabi sa public dahil sa religion nila Kath. Dapat daw kasi 18 na magboboyfriend kapag INC. Bakit? Ewan. Ganon eh =)))))

Kath, DJ, & Zharm were sitting down. Nobody was talking. Nakakabingi nga yung katahimikan, eh. DJ cleared his throat.

After that day, everything was back to normal. Friends na ulit sila. Wala nang ilangan. Back to normal. "Mara" & "Clara" was back. Nagulat nga di lang ang OB friends nila kundi pati ang buong twitter world nang magpost ng picture si Zharm na kasama ang KN.
Kath & DJ, they're going strong. Zharm & Jon? Ayun sila na. Zharm is having second throughts about entering showbusiness. ABS offered her a 2-year contract lately. Di naman sa takot syang mag-artista dahil sa naging haters nya nung panahong di pa sila maayos ni Kath. It's just that, tinitimbang pa nya kung magiging MAS masaya ba sya pag pumasok sya sa showbiz. For her, she was contended for what she has now kasi at last, nabigyan na ng closure ang lahat..
