Ok. Listen. I am not a very religious person. HECK, some things in the bible make no sense to me. But, this rant is about the belief in God. I personally believe in God, but I don't believe anyone actually knows and doesn't know what he is judging us upon considering any religious book anyone owns has been paraphrased countless times and is now more fiction than fact. I also think Leviticus in the bible makes no sense, but that's just me. Don't hate.
Now, the main argument I've heard about there not being a God is: there is no proof.
There are so many things wrong with that logic.
Number 1: there are many things that the average person cannot explain. For instance. A child cannot truly prove that they love their parents in the true extent of what love really is.
Number 2, which is what really counts: there are many things that science itself cannot explain, so saying to never believe anything science can't explain is utter bullcrap, because with that logic that means that you don't believe: gravity has a function. You don't believe ice is slippery. You don't believe smiling has a purpose. You don't believe blushing has a purpose. You don't believe life has a purpose. You don't believe some stress is bad for your health. You don't believe there is a secret to life that separates life from unliving material.
Do you see how ridiculous that sounds? So saying that there isn't a God and if you believe there is then you're uneducated because there is no proof, means you don't know what you're talking about.
Believe what you want to, but make sure you have a complete argument if you're gonna bash someone else's belief.
