"Well we have water. Now we need food." I re-entered the main chamber of the cave. "Kat do you want to do the food collecting or shall I?"
"I'll stay here to protect the cave."
"Okay I won't be long."
"I grabbed a hand full of knives and headed into the forest.
I climbed a tree and began scouting the ground below for movement. Looking around, at first, I saw nothing but then I saw a stag. Curling its nose it ran away. I realised I was up wind.
Jumping from tree to tree I made it downwind and started to approach the stag. Brandishing my longest knife I was perched 20ft above the stag. I jumped forwards and flew through the air, rapidly approaching the unsuspecting stag.
My knife pierced his skin on tye back of his neck and continued through until it came out tge other side. I landed on the stag pushing it to the floor. Luckily in all the commotion not a sound was made.
I began to drag the stag by its horns back to our cave. I was almost back when I heard footsteps ahead of me. Dipping into a bush, a small group of people for 7 & 8 rounded the corner. Three of them and one of me.
They looked at the dead stag and kept on moving. I continued to drag the stag to the cave.
