I'm helping Arthur to dress his armour in the tent. For a battle that could be his last one. "Don't force the battle." I say. "Yes, sire!" He jokes. "I'm serious." I reply. "I can see that." He says. "Merlin, If I die please..." He adds. "What?" I say. "There's something I always say to my young knights." He turns to face me and places a hand on my shoulder. "No man is worth your tears." He says. "You're certainly not." I say and go to take his sword, eyes full of tears ready to fall. "Good luck, Arthur." I say. He smiles. "Be careful." And I kiss him on the cheek. I pull back and he blushes, his gaze lowered. Why did I do that? I think embarrassed. We stay there in silence, no one knows what to do. Then sir Leon enters in the tent. "My lord, are you r..." He stops, looking at us. "The knights are ready, sire." He says. "Good, I'm coming." Arthur says and sir Leon leaves. Arthur is leaving the tent when he stops and looks at me. "This could be our last chance." He says. "Of what?" I ask but then he holds me, his hands on my back pulling me closer and he kisses me. I hold his face and kiss him back. It's a sweet and passionate kiss. A kiss full of love. He pulls back still holding me, his forehead on mine. "See you later."
