"It's been three days." Nova sighed, resting his head on PEI's Dining room table.
"He's probably busy. He's the big frickin' Apple for Christ's sake."
"Apples...that reminds me...I have a larger than normal load this year. You want some?"
"Sure." PEI put down the straw hat she was making.
"So, anything new happening with you and Sasquatchuan?"
"Katchewan." PEI sighed. "And yeah, we went out for lunch."
"Oooh! How sweet." Ns cooed.
"And I gave him a basket of potatoes."
"Not until marriage, Princey. You know better." Nova scolded mockingly.
"Shut up." Prince Edward Island growled.
"Anyway, save me a souvenir from Corner Gas when you visit okay?"
"Only if you behave moron." Princey tossed a bit of straw at her friend. As he threw it back, he felt a vibration in his pocket.
"I've got to take this." Nova plucked his phone out of his pants, smiling at the contact name.
I think it's pretty obvious who's on the phone.
