The electric buzz of all the people around Asuna made her heart pound with excitement of the most anticipated event of 2022... The release of SWORD ART ONLINE! Asuna was a one of only 1000 beta testers and had been playing the game months before everyone else but being able to share the excitement with thousands of more people made the excitement well up in her all over again.
"Asuna!" Panted a familiar voice
"Akane," Asuna light up and greeted the fellow beta tester she befriended a few months back. Meeting someone in a VRMMORPG is fun but meeting the same person IRL is a whole nother story.
"Wow, you look exactly like your avatar. Not many people do that," observed Akane "I was also a bit scared to call you 'Asuna' because I didnt wanna come off rude by calling you your in-game name.'
" Oh, It's okay... I always want to stay true to who I am whether in virtual reality or not." Asuna said in a spacey kind of way.
"Oh, okay..." Akane said a bit confused "Well, do you want to meet up in The Starting City in SAO today?"
"Okay, sorry I got all deep for a sec," Asuna blushed "For sure!"
