SYDNEE'S P.O.V.
I ran up the stairs, not looking back, and headed for the door. I struggled to hold back the tears but I couldn't.
"Hey, you ok?" Alli asked from the kitchen.
I kept running and didn't answer. I considered going back because ignoring her was rude, but my legs wouldn't stop.
When I reached my house, I opened the door and went straight to the stairs not noticing that someone was behind me. As I entered my room, I lifted my leg to kick the door close, but instead I kicked something else.
"Owww, my privates!" he yelled. "What the hell was that for?"
I turned around to see someone that I didn't expect. "Asher?" I asked puzzled. "What are you doing here?"
"Mom and dad both agreed that you needed someone to watch you, so I offered to come".
"If anyone needs watching, it's you" I said disgusted. With that I slammed my door shut.
I walked over to my bed, wiping the wet tear stains, and tried to wonder why my brother was here but what Cody told me kept replaying in my head. I started to cry more and this time, even harder. I don't know why I was overreacting but it felt like someone was taking away the most important thing to me. Am I falling for him?
As I started to fall asleep, I heard voices arguing downstairs. I sat up so I could try and make out who the voices were since the only other person currently in the house was my brother. After I sat up, it became quiet again.
When I was about to lie down again, the door to my room swung open. "I said you can't go in there" Asher said from behind Cody.
Cody turned around, whispered something to him and closed the door.
I rubbed my eyes as he came over to sit on the bed. He cupped my face in his hands. "I didn't think you would be so upset" he said with guilt in his voice.
"I-I'm-" I started to cry.
He kissed the top of my forehead and pulled me close his chest. We sat there for a while with him rubbing circles on the small of my back. Then he started to sing:

By the time he was done, I had fallen asleep in his arms. He gently placed me under the covers, kissed my cheek, and left.

"Hey Syd, wake up" Asher said while opening up my windows.
"Go away" I mumbled.
He pulled the covers off my body. "You need to get up now".
"WHY?" I whined. "Just because your here to 'watch' me, doesn't mean you have to wake me up at 9am". I pulled the covers back on me.
"Unless you want me to drive your car around, then I suggest you get up".
I instantly sat up not wanting him driving my baby. "What do you want?" I crossed my arms.
"I need you to drive me to the car dealership so I can pick up my new car" he stated.
"Can't you just walk?!" I immaturly said.
"No, but you can walk when I drive your car around" he smiled.
"Ugh, your such an ass" I said under my breath.
"What was that?" he cocked his head.
"Fine. I'll be ready in 30 minutes".
He walked out of my room and headed downstairs. "Argh" I yelled into my pillow.
I got up and went to take a quick shower. When I was finished in the bathroom, I wrapped my towel around my body and walked into my closet.
"Jesus!" I screamed.
"Sorry" Corine laughed. "I just wanted to borrow this top" she said lifting my Dolce & Gabanna peplum top.
"Why do you want that top" I asked. "It's a little fancy".
"Well...." she inhaled. "I'm really not supposed to tell anyone but- I GOT THE JOB!! I'm officially a VICTORIA SECRET ANGEL!!" she yelled.
"OHMYGOD" I pulled her into a bear hug. "I'm so proud of you! Congrats"
"Thanks!" she clapped her hands. "Anyways, I wanted to borrow this 'cause I have a meeting about the fashion show at the end of the summer. I need to look...profesh".
"Profesh?" I tilted my head and placed my index finger in my chin. "Instead of borrowing it, you can keep it."
"Really?! I love you! You're the bestest friend I ever had" she pinched my cheek and left.
"I better be" I called after her.
I walked over to my drawers and picked out my outfit. I decided on a black Fèline muscle tee, denim shorts, gold Supergas, a Givenchy bag and a black beanie. I put the beanie over my semi-dry hair and put on a little eyeliner and mascara. Once I was finished, I got my phone and went downstairs.
"Asher! Let's go" I called while getting an apple from the kitchen.
"Asher?!" I called again. I walked outside to see him in my car at the end of the driveway. I ran towards him.
"Get out NOW" I demanded.
He rolled down the window. "Looks like you have to walk" he pulled out of the driveway.
"ASHER!" I literally stompped my foot like a little kid.
He slammed on the brakes while the car was in the middle of the road and went to the passanger seat. I got in and started to drive.
"Your such a fucking idiot" I said.
"Thanks" he pulled out his phone.
"Why are you even here? I mean I know why, but why?"
"All jokes aside, I'm going to be starting my senior year here in the fall".
"What!? Why?"
"Well you know how the sophmores snuck weed into the party I threw last year?"
"Yeah..."
"Well, I'm getting kicked out of Linwood because of it".
"You're getting kicked out of school?" I asked confused.
"Yup".
I shook my head. "What school are you going to here?"
"Beverly Hills High School" he stated.
"So...you're going to live here, in California, by yourself?"
"Well, no. Dad is moving out here. Now, who was that guy that barged into your room yesterday?" he said trying to change the subject.
"He's my boyfriend".
"You have a boyfriend??? I never thought in a million years that would be possible".
I slapped his arm. "His name is Cody" I announced.
Before I had time to finish, we were already at the dealership to pick up my brothers car. While I parked, Asher went inside to fill in some paperwork and to get the keys to his car. After about 15 minutes, he pulled up next to me in his new beige BMW convertible.
"Ya like?" he smirked.
"It's okay" I sarcastically said.
He then put the top down and zoomed away. Does he even know where he's going?
Instead of going home, I decided to do a little retail therapy after what happened yesterday. As I drove to Melrose Avenue, I decided to give Alli a call to join me. After about 3 rings she finally answered and agreed to come.
Once I was on Melrose, I parked in front of Urth Caffe and got a table outside for us to sit at. I ordered a green tea boba for me and a vanilla chai boba for Alli.
When the drinks arrived, I saw Alli getting out of Cody's blacked out Audi A4. Since the windows were down, I saw him motion for me to come. I hesitated, but then Alli told me I should go.
I walked over to the car and crouched so I was level with him.
"Hey" he said.
"Hi" I said awkwardly.
"I wanted to make sure you're okay."
"I'm fine" I terribly lied.
He pulled my face close to his. "We'll talk about this later" he kissed my lips, then drove off.
I walked away from the spot that Cody's car was just in and went back to the table where Alli was.
"It'll be fine" she assured me.
"Will you also be gone?" I asked.
"Yeah, but no worries, I'll beback and forth more than Cody" she answered. "Ande besides, who would want Cody when you have me?" she joked.
I rolled my eyes and laughed. "Let's see...every teenage girl".
Once we were finished with our drinks, I left a tip and we headed across the street to DASH, which was the botique owned by the Kardashians.
When we stepped inside, lo and behold there was Khloé Kardashian Odom! She is literally my favorite person...besides me of course.(A/N: KKO is actually my favorite person)
"Yeah Shieva, I'll be back in a few" I heard her say to one of the employees.
As I started to browse the racks with Alli, someone tapped my shoulder. "OhMyGod, Sydnee!?" she asked. "I just wanted to say you're so cute, doll" she pulled out her Blackberry.
I was at a loss for words. I mean this was Khloé friggin Kardashian. "Thanks" I tried to brush it off as if it was no big deal that she knew who I was.
"I would love to stay and get to know you more but unfortunatley I have errands to run" she laughed. "Can we take a quick pic?"
I smiled. "You're asking me? I should be the one asking you. You're my idol".
"Aww, sweetie" she hugged me.
We took a quick picture and exchanged numbers. "See you around doll" she waved and then left.
"Can this day get any better?" I said to Alli.
She laughed. "Your face was priceless back there".
I immitated my shocked face and we both laughed.
After about 45 minutes, the both of us got a few shirts, a dress, and friendship bracelets.
"I definitly needed that" I said as I put our purchases in the trunk of my car. "What do you wanna do next on this lovely summer day?"
"How about we go swimming and order pizza and sushi?" Alli offered.
"Agreed" I answered. We then drove back to my house.
When we arrived, Alli went to her house to get her things and I went to my room to change. I put on my orange and purple zig zag bikini, from Victoria's Secret, and got my flip flops.
As I went downstairs, I searched the kitchen for the pizza store number. When I finally found it, I ordered a pie and some sushi.
"Knock, knock" I heard Alli say from the front door.
"Come in" I yelled.
She walked into the kitchen. "What was I gonna do, not come in?" she sarcastically said.
"Haha, very funny".
We bothed walked outside to the pool to find Corine sitting on a pool chair tanning with earphones in her ear. I walked over and pulled one out. "Yo" I yelled.
She jumped startled. "I'm still young. Please let me hear" she joked.
We all laughed. "You wanna hear? Hear this" I pushed her into the pool making a big splash.
"What the hell" I heard her muffle through the water.
By then Alli and I were both cracking up. "Last one in, wins" Alli challenged me.
"Deal".
For about 20 minutes, Alli and I tried to push eachother into the pool. FInally, when I almost had her, Corine pushed us both in.
"I think the pizza might be here" I said walking inside to see if the pizza was here. I looked at the clock and saw that the pizza was late. I decided to get some juice as I waited for it to come.
*DIng Dong*
I got the money and opened the door.
"$15.75 is your total" the nerdy looking guy said.
I handed him the money and gave him a tip. As I walked inside, I opened the pie to find that on the pizza it said 'I love you' on it.
"Must be the wrong pie" I said out loud. "Oh well".
"I love you" I heard a voice say.
I turned around to find Cody leaning in the doorway looking super sexy in a white shirt and jeans.
"You love me?" I asked puzzeled. I mean we haven't been dating that long, I thought. I put the pizza on the counter.
He came closer so our bodies were inches away. "I. Love. You." he repeated. Before I could say anything back, he planted my lips with a long passionate kiss.
"I know that I'll be touring the states the rest of the summer-" he stated. "But I'll be trying to get back here to see you as much as I can. Ever since that day a few months back, when you fell backstage at Live with Kelly and Michael and when I helped you up, I couldn't stop thinking about those 'pretty brown eyes'...your pretty brown eyes".
In that moment, I realized his new song 'Pretty Brown Eyes' was about me. My eyes started to tear up. "I love you too" I hugged him.
I have officially fallen in love with Cody Simpson.
