Now here I was. Sitting in my kitchen, watching five very hungry boys eat everything I had laid out in front of them. It wasn't a lot, but it was what I owned. This happened to include seven frozen pizzas, four 2 litters of Mountain Dew, a rather large bowl of fruit probably only a few days old, a package of old chocolate chips, and a box of Frosted Cheerio's. It had only been approximately ten minutes since they had all gotten settled in, but already half of what had previously been on the table was gone, and I could tell that they were going to need more. I giggled as I watched them scarf it all down. They ignored me, continuing to shove food down their throats.

I got up, excusing myself, and went to the bedroom to get my land line phone. I dialed the number for the pizza parlor that was a few miles down the road. It rang for a while but eventually someone on the other end picked up.

"Josh's pizza pallor, this is Jacob, how can I help you?" a really deep males voice answered from the other end.

"Hi Jacob, sorry to bug you at this hour, but I want to place an order. Is that alright?" I asked, pecking around the corner of the door frame to see that the box of cereal had been knocked over. Its contents were spilled a cross the table and floor.

"Sure thing! Can I get a name for the order?" I could tell for some odd reason, that there was a smile hidden in this Jacob's voice. I moved my gaze from the cereal to the floor and spun around, sitting on the bed.

"Just put it under "Lilly" please," I said, sneezing after. Lilly wasn't my name, no. It was my mom's, but I still loved using it.

"Alright go a head with the order," Jacob said. There was some typing on a keyboard in the background. I looked up and saw the boys looking around and laughing with each other.

"I'd like ten pizzas to go, please. Five cheese, two peperoni, one garbage, one veggie, and the last one a cookie pizza. Oh and could I get some bread sticks on the side?" I looked back at my nails and waited for him to reply.

"Your order will be ready in about twenty minutes. It will be delivered to your house after they are out," Jacob said, and hung up the phone. I placed the phone back onto the receiver and sighed, laying on my back and stretching out my legs, placing my hands behind my head and starring at the ceiling, letting my mind wonder off into its own world. When I get like this, it normally leads to days on end depression. Not with cutting, just thinking negatively and thinking about awful past experiences.

"You know, you didn't have to order us that," a male's voice said from the door way. "The lads and I didn't mean to eat all your food, its just, well, we've been walking for hours."

I jumped slightly, coming back to reality. I stood up, whipping my head around to see a tall brunette leaning on my door frame, smiling over at me. I shake my head, and look down, leaning on the master bed's post.

"I wanted to. It's the middle of the night and you all looked like you could use the food." I said looking up smiling at him. He just shock his head.

"Really. We already owe you a whole six or seven pantries full of food." my eyes widened. I hadn't had that much food in my home at once since I had moved here. In fact, what I had that the lads had just eaten was all from last months pay check. I stood up straight and started to walk toward my tall oak wardrobe where I kept my pay from work.

"No really. Its fine." I lied, as I reached to open the door. I kept my eyes on the brunette leaning on the doorway as I did so. He just continued to shake his head before walking back to where the rest of the boys were now laying. I turned back to the wardrobe and pulled out the jar I kept the stash of cash in, unscrew the lid, and peer in. I sigh seeing only a few twenty dollar bills, but pull one out all the same. I replaced the jar, shut the splintery door, and returned to the living room, sitting back down at the kitchen table, waiting for the pizza man to turn up.

It was awfully quiet now, except for the rain pounding on the roof. It almost sounded like hail was hitting, or maybe really tiny glass marbles. I glanced over at my sofa, to find all of the boys leaning up against one and other, fast asleep. I smiled to myself and got up from the table. Opening the basement doorway, I walked down the flight of green carpeted stairs, grabbed a few blankets, and walked back up. I set them down and went to the door.

Not a moment later, there was a knock. "Pizza delivery!"

I smiled and opened the door. "Thanks again for doing this so late."

I took the pizza's out of the man's hands and handed him the twenty dollar bill. "Keep the change."

The man looked puzzled but nodded and walked back to his car all the same. See, out here, everything is SO much less expensive. It's like $2.00 for a full tank of gas.

I quickly closed the door, set the pizza's down on the remaining space of the table. Shaking my head as I walked back over to were the five boys were lined up fast asleep on the sofa, I thought about where they might have come from or what they were doing in the middle of no where. I stared at them for a while, thinking about how they looked so helpless and innocent sprawled out there. It was like they were just a bunch of strangers that had just gotten lost on a hiking trip.

I shook my head again and walked over to the blonde man on the left end of the sofa. "Alright up ya go." I said it more to myself, but I still felt like someone was listening.

I pulled him up, putting almost all his body weight on me, and carried him into the first guest bedroom. My log cabin has two guest bedrooms, a basement, a two car garage, a pond in the backyard, a master bedroom and bathroom, a small kitchen, and a wash room in the basement. The first guest bedroom that I was bringing the tall blonde boy into consisted of a triple bunk bed, a dresser, and a double-doored closet. Gently, trying not to get wet from the boys' clothes, I laid him into the bottom bunk and pulled the covers up to his chin, and stood up to get the next boy.

Before I walked out of the room, I heard the sound of crunching. I poked my head around the corner to see the other four boys sitting at the table chowing down on the 10 pizzas and bread sticks I had bought for them. I giggled again and walked over to the fireplace that faced the now vacant sofa. I grabbed some old newspapers and rolled them up, making perfect kindling for the fire I was beginning to build.

"Miss?" I jumped up, startled by the talk, and hit my head on the cement overhang. I groaned and rubbed my head and turned around to see the same boy that told me off for ordering the pizza, staring at me.

"Yes?" I answered, still rubbing my head.

"Erm, not that I don't trust you, but where did Niall go?" he said, looking around the room and glancing back at the other three boys still chewing happily on the pizza. I turned back to the firepit and began placing twigs.

"You mean the tall blonde boy?" I threw a log on the unlit fire and stood up, brushing my legs off. "I put him in the bed of the bedroom on the left down the hall. You were all so squished looking that I moved him into the other room."

I past him and walked over into my kitchen, passing two empty pizza boxes on my way. The way my kitchen was set up was kind of abnormal compared to my old house. I guess I still wasn't use to living here. But it was the one place that I truly felt at home in. I reached up into the cabinet and grabbed the matches and the gasoline canister I keep up there, and walked back to the still unlit fire pit. The only sound now was the sound of crunching and the almost silent snoring from the other room.

"There are two other bunks in the room that.... erm.. I'm sorry... I've forgotten his name... the tall blonde one... there's two other bunk beds in that room, and the room across the hall has a king mattress," I bent down, feeling my cheeks burn from embarrassment. It wasn't offend that I had visitors that needed to keep warm. I soaked the log, twigs, and paper with the gasoline, and took out a single match and lit it. "I have a single bed downstairs and a bunk that sits above it. You all can make yourselves comfy, and we can head into town tomorrow to get you all back.... to where ever it is you came from."

I stood and brushed off again, turning on my heal and smiling happily at the four boys, whom were staring right back. The bread stick box sat empty along with four empty pizza boxes. The table had a few crumbs on it, but it was nothing compared to the floor. Out of no where, the boy on the end, whom was wearing a tank top and a blue beanie, burped loudly, causing the boy sitting next to him to let out a girly squeal.

"Louis! What did I tell you about doing that?" the same boy that had been doing all the talking said, folding his muscular arms across his chest, and shifted his weight onto one leg. I, on the other hand, let out a small laugh, and coughed afterward looking down.

"Sorry Liam, but if that's what the stomach needs, then so be it." this so called Louis replied, a smirk playing on his lips as he sighed, putting his hands behind his head and leaning back in the wooden chair.

Liam face palmed, and shook his head, "Louis, we're guests! We are supposed to be on our best behavior!"

Louis shook his head, smirking, "SHE giggled. I think that gives it the okay."

I raised my hands in defense, "Don't bring me into this. I don't take sides."

CRACK!

I screamed and ran onto the sofa, throwing a blanket over me. I heard another scream as I did so, a much deeper one though, and a THUMP. I poked my head out.

"Was that from the other room?" I questioned, not knowing if it had just been Louis or the other lad sitting next to him.

Liam was already running into the other room, "Niall? You alright, mate?"

Before Liam could get down the short hallway however, Niall walked into the room rubbing his head, "Bloody hell, who ever put me in that room is gonna pay. Was it you, Hazz?"

The boy that had remained silent for so long, was in the middle of bitting into a slice of the cheese pizza, when he gained a shocked expresstion on his face. Talking with his mouthful, he replied, "Vhy vould I ooo at?"

Liam face palmed again and swore under his breath. I stood up suddenly, feeling hyper, "THAT'S A DOLLAR IN THE COOKIE JAR, YOU POTTY MOUTH!"

Dead silence.

I just started to laugh hysterically. I mean, it was the look on their faces. They just looked like they were in so much shock. I fell to the floor, grabbing my stomach, and still laughing badly.

"My gosh, stand up, woman!" I heard footsteps walking over to the table. I couldn't help myself. I haven't had anyone to talk to for months.

I felt something wet come down my cheeks, and felt my ab muscles contrasting. I stopped laughing and rolled over onto my back. I whipped my eyes and looked up at Liam.

"I'm sorry, but I haven't had anyone to laugh with or talk to for months," I stood up and looked over at Niall. "I'm sorry for telling you to put a dollar in the cookie jar. Hell, I don't even have a cookie jar."

I giggled again and put another log on the fire.

"It's no big deal, love!" I jumped up and hit my head on the over hang. That was a new voice...

I spun around and sitting at the end of the table was a boy with a blonde streak in his black hair. I smiled, embarrassed again, and sat down on the sofa.

"I guess we should introduce ourselves before you let us sleep here. I'm Liam." Liam said pointing to himself.

"I'm Louis."

"Call me Zayn."

"Harry."

"And I'm Niall." They finished off, and smiled widely at me.

"I'm Joyce. But please, call me Lilly," I said, standing up, "Nice smiles by the way."

I walked into my bedroom again, about to shut the door and then stopped. I poked my head out again.

"The blankets are in the second door on the right. Three bunks in the room across from that and king matress in that room. Two beds downstairs," I smiled. "Sleep well guys."

And with that, I shut the door, turned off the light, and went back to bed.
