Prologue:
*Marias POV*
It was the last day of school and I was standing in front of the school, waiting for my boyfriend Niall to come pick me up. He finally pulled up in front of me and I climbed in.
"Hey, baby." He smiled and kissed me sweetly. "How was school?"
I smiled and said, "it was fine."
"That's good." His said softly.
"Babe, what's wrong?" I asked him. He looked at me and sighed. "Can I talk to you at your place?"
"Of course." We arrived at my house and he pulled the keys out of the ignition and we walked inside.
"So what's on your mind?" I asked.
He looked at me and said "I'm trying out for Xfactor.."
"What's so bad about that?"
"Nothing, I'm just nervous..."he said shakily.
"Awe, babe" I cooed. "You'll do fine, I promise. You'll get through. Your voice is amazing." I smiled lightly.
"I'm leaving tonight.."
"Oh..okay..call me as soon as you find out, yeah?"
He sighed. "I don't think we should see each other anymore.."
My heart shattered completely.
"W-what?" I said as tears
streamed down my face. He just walked out of my house, out of my life.
*Nialls POV*
I sat patiently waiting for my name to be called..but, it never was. I was devastated..
The next day, they called me and 9 other people to the stage.
"Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson please step forward."
Me and 4 other boys stepped to the front of the stage.
"You five will be put in a group together. As in, a band. I expect you to perform a song tomorrow together." Simon Cowell explained.
We just nodded our heads. "You may leave now."
We exited the stage together and sighed.
The next day, we performed first and we made it through. We made it.!!!!
*Marias POV*
It's been an entire month since Niall left me. I still don't understand why, but I guess it was for the best.
