Chapter 5
getting to know you
once Anyaz and myself had reached "our" shack, there was still some day left so we weaved the blanket i had bigger and just talked. Anyaz had also went to cook the food we had caught that day, using some flint he had collected.
"we would probably stay warmer if we slept next to each other" Anyaz said, not looking up from weaving.
"i face one way, you the other" i suggested looking up.
"sure, if you feel more comfortable that way" he responded. we stopped talking for a few minutes, but kept talking afterwards.
once we had finished the weaving it was just dusk. "well, i guess that means it's time to go to sleep."i said, laying down.
"seems so" Anyaz said before laying down facing the opposite way. "goodnight Zayna" he said to me.
"goodnight Anyaz" i said back. we fell asleep curled up like cats, probably due to the affects of the experiment.
in the morning, i woke up first so i got up and looked around the area whilst streching my arms. "Anyaz" i said poking him "it's morning, we should go hunting for food or we won't have any food left" i conviced him.
he opened his eyes and got up after a moment "so where shall we go today?" he asked as we looked around.
"well, we have already gone that way" i said pointing to the forest "so i guess we will go this way" i said pointing to a hilled area and looking over at Anyaz.
"good plan" he declared and began to walk down the hill we were on and into the hilled area with me.
we had gone around through this area for a while, only collecting some nuts and berries on the way. it was only mid-day when we were about to head back but we then saw the one thing neither of us would've ever thought was here "what the heck..." we said in unison gaping at it...
