In the beginning I never thought it would be him. Love is crazy. I can’t really explain it, it’s just a feeling that you can’t control. It appears at the upmost unexpected times. It’s amazing. They say everything happens for a reason, and I truly believe that. I don’t know what I would do without him, and I mean that. The things we go though in life make us better people, supposedly. We learn and grow from our mistakes. Every relationship goes on their own rollercoaster ride, up and down, side to side. But you push through and fight, because you don’t want to lose that certain person. You love each other. He has my heart, and I’m not getting it back. Forever and always, right?
Chapter 1
“Oh Eric go to the concert with me! Ha ha ha!” My neighbor, Chad, was picking on me. Chad was driving, Eric was in the passenger seat, and I was seated in the back. A couple weeks ago I had asked Eric to go to a concert with me. I really liked him. Just my luck of course, he turned me down.
“You seriously told him?” I asked sternly
Eric and Chad were best friends. Chad was more like a brother to me, and I didn’t want him finding out in case he got mad.
Eric didn’t say anything. We pulled into my driveway, and I immediately got out.
“Oh Chelsea come on!” Eric said as he followed me into my house. I set my bag onto the dining room table and ran upstairs to my room. I slammed the door.
I don’t really know why I got so emotional, I just did. I couldn’t control the tears. I slid on my back down the door and onto the floor. I heard someone coming up the stairs.
“Can we talk please?” It was Eric knocking on my door.
“Just go away please.” I replied.
“I’m not going anywhere until we get this straightened out.” Eric said
I got up and opened the door. “What?”
“Can I come in?” Eric asked
I opened the door wider to let him come in.
“I’m sorry. Okay? I didn’t think it would be that big of a deal. I also told him to leave you alone about it.” Eric said
“Doesn’t matter.” I said
“Well it does because I can see that you’re upset.” Eric leaned in to give me a hug.I hugged him back, I mean I still liked the guy and we were still friends.
He held me for a while in his arms before letting go. I began to turn around when he kissed me. I seriously had no idea what was going on. I was so confused. I stopped him.
“What do you think you’re doing,” I asked “you can’t just kiss me like that and then expect me to act like it’s nothing! I know you don’t like me so what was that for?”
“Chelsea, I do like you.”
