Chapter 3
"For someone who said this would be easy, it is really hard"
I was sweating really hard. I got knocked down at least five times each time I tried to complete the obstacles.
"It should've been easy. It wasn't that hard for me when I first had to do it" he mocked.
I was so tired I just wanted to take a hot shower and relax a bit.
"Come on Tarah. It's only been twenty minutes. You can't give up that easily".
I looked up at like he was crazy.
"I am not about to do this the whole entire time David. I want to have a break at some point" I snarled at him.
"Fine. You can have your break now but I will only give you five minutes" he sighed.
"Thank you"
I started my walk back to his house I was probably wasting my time since I wasn't walking at my normal speed.
"If you want to enjoy your break you might want to walk a bit more faster" David commented.
"Carry me" I asked lifting up my hands; he complied and started carrying me.
We made it back to the house in two and a half minutes. I took up half of my time that I had to rest. Instead of whining about my time I went to the kitchen and got me a cup of water. I didn't get to finish it all when David took from out of my hands
"Time to practice some more" he smirked.
"You couldn't have waited for me to finish drinking my water first" I asked.
"Nope" he said
I just glared at him. No matter how annoyed I want to be at him I couldn't.

We were now eating dinner with his family. I had to say they were nice and funny; David's mom sure loved embarrassing him. Anything she said that was embarrassing he would blush and I would laugh. Then he would start glaring at me.
"Whenever he would pee, he would take his diaper off and start running around the house" his mother told me.
I couldn't help it anymore I just had to laugh. He grabbed my leg and squeezed it, I calmed down a little and stopped laughing. I looked at David and rubbed his cheek. He purred and closed his eyes breathing in heavily.
After dinner he took me home by that time it was already eight-thirty.
"I'll see you tomorrow at school" I told him as I was about to get out the car.
"Hold on" he grabbed my arm and turned me back around giving me a kiss.
"Good night" he said once he pulled away.
I nodded too shocked from the kiss. I touched my lips still tingling from the kiss; David chuckled and drove off. I turned around walked up the stairs to my house.
I closed the door after I got in and slid down it.
"Well someone had a good night"
I jumped at the sound of my mothers voice, I hadn't known she was standing right there.
"Mom, you scared me!" I exclaimed.
"Who was that boy?" she asked
"A friend- just a friend" I lied.
I knew David and I were a lot more than friends
"Hmm, that kiss seemed like you guys are more than just friends." She raised her eyebrows at me trying to prove a point.
"I'm just going to go upstairs" I started running up the stairs before she could stop me.
I got my clothes out so I could take a shower, because I really needed one after training.
When I got out my mother was sitting on my bed holding her belly.
"So, tell me about your boyfriend" I sighed knowing she wasn't going to leave unless I told her about him.
"His name is David and we have class together" I stated.
Her knowing too much wouldn't be so good because she will just blurt everything out to my dad.
"Anything else?" she asked
"Mom I'm really tired and I would like to go to bed".
She frowned a little but left the room. I climbed in bed but I didn't go to sleep instead I just called David.

Waking up the next day was pretty hard. I couldn't make myself get up, it was pretty hard to. When I did finally manage to get out of bed I went to take a shower hoping it would wake me up.
It didn't work I became even more tired and it took me over fifteen minutes. By that time I had to leave; rushing I hurried up and finished getting ready for school. I had to remind myself to not be on the phone with David passed twelve o'clock.
"Someone looks sleepy" David commented when he saw me.
"I am. I can't be on the phone with you passed twelve or I won't get good sleep" I leaned on his arm almost falling asleep.
"Wake up sleepy head" he whispered then kissed me on my forehead.
"But I'm tired and it's your fault" I grumbled.
"How is you being tired my fault you were the one that called. You should've went to bed on time then you wouldn't be so tired". I sighed.
He was right I shouldn't have called him when I knew I was going to be tired in the morning.
"I know and that's why I'm going to have to stop calling you on school nights. Probably just not call you at all" I replied mumbling the last part.
"Hey I heard that" I looked up at him and he had a frown on his face. "You can still call me just no later than eleven-thirty.
During science we had to make a plane and see how far it would fly. I made a Canard and David made a bullet; I messed mine up. I don't know how to made an airplane so David offered me some help.
"You will have to go out in the hallways and throw them down the hall. Using a centimeter stick to measure theme".
David's airplane looked a lot better than mine. When we did the ten trials his flew a lot farther on all of them but one. We recorded then compared the differences between the two airplanes on a bar graph. I wasn't really good in science so when I had to answer the harder questions I copied off of David.
"What's the answer to number three" I asked him.
He had moved his paper to where I couldn't see it. I chuckled and he look down at me
"No"
I pouted my lips at him and he laughed at me even more. He leaned down and kissed my lips.
"You know you are going to have to do your work sooner or later, right?".
"Yes, I do but it is easier to look at your paper than to try to figure it out myself" I said.
I was still tired by second period so I thought that I would just take a small nap. We had a substitute and I had already finished all of my work. Sadly David didn't have this class with me and my other friends were gone.
Once school was over I quickly but carefully drove home. I did the homework that I had for that day, it wasn't hard so it took me less than two hours to do all of it. When I finished I thought about calling David, but I soon thought against it.
At some point I fell asleep and didn't notice until I woke up from my phone ringing. I looked at my phone and just stared at it for a while before deciding to pick it up. It stopped ringing once I was about to pick it up. I looked at the clock and it was four in the morning, then I looked at the crazy person who had decided to call this early in the morning. It was David, I groaned and put my phone back and attempted to go back to sleep but then it rung again. I decided to just ignore it and go back to sleep.

I jumped when I felt someone wrap their arms around my waist but soon relaxed when I looked to see who it was.
"Why didn't you answer my phone calls?" David asked.
"I don't know. Maybe it has to do with it being four in the morning on a school night. Or the fact that I was sleeping and didn't want to be bothered".
He grabbed my hips and pulled me back into his chest.
"I was bored and I didn't have anything to do"
I looked up at him like he was crazy.
"You could've watched T.V. or better yet, try to go to sleep". I rolled my eyes at him as I responded.
"You've earned yourself an extra two hours in training today, so be careful about what you say".
He started moving his hands upward until they were on my stomach.
"You suck" I mumbled
"I heard you" he said while pinching my butt.
"Ouch stop it" I squealed trying to get away from him.
I started running down the hall to class as David started chasing after me.

"Thirty more push-ups now"
David blew the whistle and I started thirty more push-ups. It had been like this for an hour. Each time I did a push up I would stop at one point and David would make me start all over again. When I hit fifteen push-ups I stopped again
"Start over" he yelled
"David I'm tired of doing push-ups and I'm right here so you don't have to yell. Please can we take a break and can I get some water?" I asked in between pants.
"Fine I guess you can have a break for now- you have only five minutes".
He made it more of a command rather than a comment. I got up from off the ground and started walking towards the house when David snaked his arms around my waist.
"Come on slow poke pick up your pace" he whispered in my ear.
It sent a shiver down my spine and made me walk even slower. David huffed and picked me up slinging me around his shoulders. It felt good because all of my cramps in my back cracked. I moaned lowly in the back of my throat and closed my eyes. That had earned me a growl from David.
"Stop moaning" he demanded.
"I couldn't help but laugh at how his voice got deeper and huskier.
He took me from off of his shoulders and threw me on the couch. David's eyes got noticeably darker. He turned around and headed for the kitchen. I started checking him out and noticed how tall and muscular he really was.
A minute later he came back with a cup of water in his hand. I took a fast gulp and then scrunched up my face when my teeth started freezing. I hated when that happens it makes me so annoyed.
After being over David's house until almost ten I decided that I should be heading home. I knew my mom would start to worry about where I am- also because my curfew on school nights is eleven-thirty.
If I got there any later I knew I would be in trouble. Out of all the people that I know will get angry my mother would be the worst. It was even worse since she was pregnant- but she rarely got angry.
I didn't get home until almost eleven. That was because David decided to stop every five minutes and get some food. I swear if he wasn't a werewolf and didn't have fast metabolism he would be very fat.
"I'll call you when I get home and if you don't answer there will be hell to pay in your training practices" he stated.
"Why say that when you know I am not going to answer?".
I'm sure he remembers what I told him about calling me so late on a school night.
"Be sure to pick up"
He leaned down to my eye level and brushed his lips across mine then turned away and left. I was going to comment on what he said but he moved so fast I didn't get a chance to.
Just like he said he would, David called me. Like I told I wasn't going to pick up if he did call, I didn't. I know he's going to get me back either at school or at training.
I took a shower later than I should have and when I got out it was one almost two. I didn't know it would be this late and I wasn't even tired; I couldn't get myself to go to sleep so I decided to stay up and watch T.V. I finally managed to go to sleep but it wasn't the best sleep that I could've gotten.

'I see you are getting along well with David' that same voice from a few nights ago had said.
'Yes, I am' was my reply
'I see that the training is getting better, he makes you train more every time you are training with him, correct'.
I nodded my head wanting to see who this person was. From as much as I know the was one of a woman.
As if she heard my thoughts she came from out of the shadows. She had long golden hair and hazel eyes with bronze colored skin. She was gorgeously beautiful, she slowly walked toward me and grabbed my hand 'come with me I want to show you something.' I followed after she pulled me along our surroundings changed and we were walking on grass.
At first it was dark but then as we continued walking towards our destination the sun started coming up. She pushed some trees away and that's when I noticed how noisy it really was there people fighting other. Goblins fighting off wolves, these goblins weren't like the ones that I have seen in movies.
They were an average persons height they were very beautiful too but the one thing that was the same is their feet. They're humongous and gross looking and smelly.
Many people were lying on the floor dead or dying. It was a gruesome thing to look at, blood was splattered all over the ground and the foul stench of burning flesh from all the bodies making contact with the fires that they started. I look over at the woman
'Why are you showing me this'? I asked
I really couldn't watch the fighting anymore.
'Because this will happen again only if you don't stop it'.

I had woken up sweating badly and I couldn't go to sleep after that. I decided that I would go for a run to try to clear my mind a little. I swiftly and quickly got up and got dressed then ran out the house. It was still dark outside and quiet.
As I was coming back from my jog a black started following me. I tried to ignore it but the car had only gotten faster. That only made me start running even faster.
I made it to my house just in time before the car could catch up to me.
I was in my third period class sleeping I had come a little earlier than I should have. David called me again this morning right after I had gotten home and it was five.
He was asking me whether or not I wanted him to come pick me up from school I said no and hung probably a little too fast than necessary. I was probably being a little too obvious that something was wrong but I didn't care because I knew I was going to have to tell him. I'm sure that was the point of her showing me that.
"Talk, now" that was all he said.
I lifted my head up so I could look at him.
"What do you mean?" I asked
"You already know what I mean, what is wrong with you?" he asked frowning up his face.
"Can I tell you later?" I asked not really wanting to tell him now.
"Is something wrong?" he asked starting to get angry.
"Not at the moment- look I will tell you later" I told him leaving no room to argue.
