Karen drove me to school Monday morning because Courtney never came to pick me up, she didn't even call. "Thanks for the ride." I said to Karen. She smiled and gave me a hug.
I spotted Courtney and the group standing around Nick's car. I walked over to them and faced Courtney.
"Did you forget about me?" I asked smiling. Courtney pushed me away and grabbed Mark's arm, they walked off. "What's going on?" I asked Madison and Brooke. Madison glared at me, looking me up and down and bumped my shoulder as she passed by. Brooke looked down and started walking but I grabbed her arm.
"Can someone please tell me what's going on?" I asked demandingly.
"Like you don't know?" Brooke asked. I shrugged. "I don't!" I exclaimed.
Brooke looked over at Madison and Courtney who were standing by the entrance.
"We know you tried hooking up with Nick." Brooke said.
"What!?" I yelled. "What are you-
"Courtney heard it from Mark who saw you and Nick kissing by your house, Andie." Brooke explained. "Friend's don't do that to friend's."
I turned around to look at Nick who was staring back at me, leaning on his car. I walked over to him.
"I don't know!" He exclaimed. "I don't know how he found out."
"It wasn't even a real kiss!" I shouted. I ran over to Courtney and grabbed her arm.
"Let go!" She yelled.
"Courtney," I started, my heart pounding rapidly. "There is nothing going on with me and Nick!"
"You know what, Andie? I knew you were jealous of me." She said in her snotty "I'm better than you" tone of voice.
"What are you saying?" I asked quietly. Mark had his arm around Courtney, Madison was behind her giving me glares, and Brooke was looking down at the ground, not wanting to look at me.
"You're jealous of me!" Courtney yelled. Students around us stopped and stared. "You're jealous because I get whatever I want, I'm better than you, I have everything."
She walked closer to me until her face was inches away from mine.
"The only thing of mine you can get your hands on was Nick." She said angrily. "Friend's don't steal or date friend's exes. That's the way it's always been Andie and you know that."
Tears formed in my eyes, everyone was looking, even worse Alex. He was right there, staring me down, hearing every single word come out of Courtney's mouth.

"Save it, Andie." She said as she put a hand up to stop me. "You're dead to me."
Those were the four words I hoped would never come out of Courtney's mouth. "You're dead to me." We were no longer friend's. I watched as my now former friend's walked away, leaving me behind. Students started walking to class. Alex started walking and I ran after him. I pulled his arm but he pulled it back.
"Alex you have to let me explain." I begged. This was the hardest part ever, facing my boyfriend with hurt written all over his face.
"You don't need to explain." Alex said. "I heard everything. It doesn't even matter anymore Andie because we're done."
I stood in the hall as the bell rang. I watched as Alex walked through the mass of people. I couldn't move, my feet were planted to the ground. My heart was breaking into tiny pieces.
I cried and cried in the girl's bathroom. I missed first and second hour and I wasn't thinking about going to third or lunch. Someone opened the door and walked in. It was Courtney.
"Maybe she didn't mean it." I heard Brooke say. "I mean, it's not like her to do something like that."
Courtney slammed something against the sink. "Shut up Brooke." She said angrily. "Andie we know you're in here so get out!"
I hesitated but opened the stall slowly. It was hard to look into my friend's eyes.
Courtney came up to me and stared. "Go get on a treadmill fat ass." She said angrily.
I glared at her, something I shouldn't have done. She pushed me against the stall.
"Leave her alone, Courtney." Brooke said quietly.
"Brooke, shut up!" Courtney exclaimed. "She deserves it. She's no longer our friend, she's the enemy."
The bathroom door opened and Nicole walked in. She gave Courtney a friendly hug, Courtney smiled.
"Meet our newest memeber." Courtney smirked. I looked down at the ground and closed my eyes. Courtney grabbed my chin with her manicured fingernails and made me look at her.
"Look at me!" She yelled. I opened my eyes, tears streamed down.
"Dude, let's do this after school I have to get to class." Madison said after awhile.
Courtney's nails dug into my chin, I pulled away.
"After school, you better be in here." Courtney whispered. "If you're not, than I will get Mark and tell him and his friend's to jump Nick and Alex. You wouldn't want your skaterboy to end up in the hospital right?"
I watched as Courtney and the girl's walked out of the bathroom. I slid down the stall, onto the ground. My life was over. The girl I used to have sleepovers with was now bullying me along with the girl I used to bully. I might as well stay in the bathroom, there's no way I'm going to let Mark and his friend's jump Alex. There's no way.
I stood in the bathroom after school. I was starving and my mascara was all over my face from crying so much. I don't know what these girl's were going to do to me, but I wasn't ready.
The bathroom door burst open and the girl's walked in along with Mark. "Get up!" Courtney yelled. Madison locked the bathroom door and Mark leaned against it. I stood up like I was told and took a deep breath. "Hold her." Courtney said to Madison and Nicole. Brooke was standing by the sink looking down at her phone. Madison and Nicole held my arms but Mark walked over.
"No," He said. "Fight fair Court." Courtney glared at him and looked back at the girl's.
"Let her go." Courtney said. The girl's let my arms go and I stood facing Courtney.
"Ready," Mark said. Was he serious? A girl fight? With Courtney? "Set, go!"
Courtney pushed me hard against the floor and fell on top of me. I grabbed a handful of her hair and pulled it. I punched her a few times but she always ended up punching me back. She scratched my arm and started cursing at me, I cursed back.
"Stop, stop, stop!" Mark yelled.
"No!" Courtney yelled but Mark held her waist, trying to hold her back.
My nose was bleeding and my arms were covered in scratches. I don't know what I'm going to tell my parents when I get home. Maybe I shouldn't lie and I should just, tell them the truth. Courtney and I got into a fight.
