Chapter 1

We packed my bags into the trunk of the car
The car drive was very quiet at first. Dad was driving. Mom was sleeping in the passenger seat of the car. The rain started to fall. The sound of the drizzle on the window made me tired too. I found myself getting sleepy and sooner or later I fell asleep too. As my eyes opened they were treated with the beautiful view of a gorgeous house overlooking a crystal blue lake. "You never told me grandma and grandpa owned a lake house." My parents could be alone all they want. I was going to spend some quality time with my grandparents. Just then grandma and grandpa opened the door. Hugs and kisses were exchanged as they helped us take the bags out the trunk. "Hi Elina" Grandma said. "We're looking forward to spending time with you this summer." Well we'd love to stay and chat but we've got things to do"Dad said. So bye talk to you later Elina. "Yeah whatever. Have fun. Come here you. Mom and Dad gave me a big hug then they were off to do who knows what.
