" Miranda, get down here now" it was mum she sounded upset. So I went downstairs to check if everything was alright. As I was walking down the stairs, I heard an unusual voice, it sounded like a ladies voice. A blond tall, quite skinny lady was hugging my dad, I was shocked, I wanted to yell at her, but instead I asked a question. " Mum what is going on, who is this lady" Mum was crying, she doesn't cry that often unless is was heartbreaking, so this had to be important. "Sweetie, pack all of your stuff we are leaving" Mum had a strong demanding voice, so I went upstairs and packed all of my stuff. As I went downstairs again, I could hear mum screaming at dad, this normally happened, I never interfered. Dad was about to kiss that tall, pretty, skinny lady but I interrupted and said" Dad what the hell are you doing" he said nothing but looked the other way, with a smirk on his face. "Mum I packed everything I could"
"That's good now let's go" as we headed out the front door, I was surprised, dad wasn't behind us. "Um, mum isn't dad coming"? Now this made mum cry her face off. I was a bit confused but I think I knew what happened. My parents are now divorced. "Mum are you and dad getting divorce"?
"Yes we are I guess me and your father weren't meant to be" this made me cry, my face had turned red. Then I wondered where are we going? We had a long car trip it took nearly 3 hours, by the time we got there it was 2.34pm. I looked at the house, it was a dump. It was white and rusty and had graffiti that said keep out now that scared me, normally nothing could scare me. Wait a minute did I just leave all of my friends behind? After we had unpacked the car, Miranda tried to find a descant room. The power was out so for dinner we went to Burger King, I was starving, but I was still very very very upset that my parents divorced. What has happened just in this one day?
