(A/n)- We are at over 2.1 reads omg thank you so much! Anyways I want to warn you guys now that due to certain events in my life the story will have slower uploads. So the chapters might take a little more time then before. But don't worry I will still update the story. Anyways on with the story.
Chapter 16: Dueling Club
-3rd person pov-
It has been a few days since the quidditch match and you have been ignoring Harry the entire time. Apparently a student was petrified by someone a Colin Creevey. You couldn't care less but that meant that the chamber of secrets was opened making some of the students particularly muggel born students nervous. You were with Draco in Defense Against the Dark Arts class listening to Lockhart read passages out of his book.

"Ugg what in the world was Dumbledore thinking hiring such an annoying obvious fake wizard to be out defense against the dark arts teacher? I swear he teaches more about himself than actual spells. It doesn't help that half the class is in love with him."
I turned to Draco to see that he fell asleep while listening to Lockhart. I then smirked I knew exactly what I should do. I grab my quill and while Lockhart wasn't noticing I drew a little mustache on Draco's face. I held in the urge to laugh out loud and stopped paying attention to Lockhart until I heard a loud thump. Lockhart closed his book loudly causing most of our class to wake up. I saw that Draco was awake know and had no idea of his little mustache friend.
"Alright class that ends today's lesson. But before you leave for the day I want to inform you all that I was given permission to start a dueling club here. To help better you children in defending against evil. Anyone interested in joining should come to great hall today at 3pm. I hope to see you there. Class is dismissed."
Draco and I leave our seats and grab out things before leaving the class room. Once we were in the halls I couldn't hold in the laughter anymore and I started to laugh at Draco. Draco looked at me like I was mad and asked
"(y/n) what is wrong with you? You started laughing out of no where."
I finally was able to stop laughing before saying
"Well since you fell asleep in class Draco I decided to draw a little something on your face." I then held up a little mirror I happened to have with me for some reason. Draco looked into the mirror and say the mustache I drew and punched me in the arm.
"Ow Draco that hurt... Just kidding. So how do you like it?"
"That is not funny (y/n). A mustache really? That is so unoriginal." Draco said whipping his mustache off with his sleeve.
"Unoriginal yes but still funny none the less."
Draco rolled his eyes at me but smiled and kissed my cheek like he always does when we play around like this. Draco then says
"So do you want to join this dueling club that Lockhart is starting? I heard Professor Snape is going to be there and I really want to see Lockhart be knocked down a few times by Professor Snape."
I nodded my head and said
"I would love to go just to see Lockhart be knocked down. That gives us about an hour before the club meets today. Let's put our books away and then play a game a chess while we wait."
Draco nods his head and so we were off to our dorms to go and put our stuff away.
-3rd person pov-
You and Draco just finished playing a game of chess and Draco actually won this game.
"Ha I finally beat you in a game of chess (y/n)!"
You smiled and shook you head. Like every slytherin Draco was very competitive so when he finally beat you he seemed to be the happiest person alive.
"Yes you finally beat me Draco. Now come on we better get going or we'll be late for the dueling club."
You put your chess board away and you grab Draco's hand before leaving towards the great hall.
-time skip-
You and Draco were standing will Crabbe and Goyle in the great hall near the dueling platform. You saw Lockhart walk in with a stupid get up.
"Gather round. Gather round! Can everyone see me? Can everyone hear me?" Lockhart said looking at the group of students that had gathered around the dueling platform.
"Excellent. Now, Professor Dumbledore has allowed me to start this little dueling club in order to train in case you ever find you self in a situation where you must defense yourself. Like I have on many occasions, for further details see me published works."
Lockhart then said
"Let me introduce you to my assistant, Professor Snape. Professor Snape sportingly agreed to help me demonstrate the proper way to duel. Now never fear you will still have your potions master when I am through with him."
Many of the girls looked at Lockhart like he was a great man while you and the rest of the slytherins were hoping that Snape would kick Lockhart's butt. Lockhart and Snape then brought their wands up as if they were swords and bowed. Well Lockhart bowed while Snape just lowered his head. They then both turn around and take three big steps away from each other then turn towards each other again.
"On the count of three. One...Two...Three!" Lockhart said.
Snape then flicked his wand and said "Expellarmus!" A red light came from Snape's wand and hit Lockhart causing him to fly through the air and hit the wall then fall to the ground. You and Draco where cheering for Snape while most of the girls held worried looks in their eyes.
"Now that was funny. Finally Lockhart got served." You said towards Draco. Draco smiled at you and nodded his head.
Lockhart had gotten up and said
"Ah the disarming spell excellent idea Professor Snape. However if you don't mind me saying that it was pretty obvious uh what you were about to do. And if I had wanted to stop you it would have been too easy."
"Perhaps it would be prudent to first teach the student how to block unfriendly spells. Professor." Professor Snape said.
Lockhart took a second to respond before saying
"A excellent idea Professor Snape. Uh. Let's have a volunteer pair. Umm. Potter, Weasley how bout you?"
"Weasley's wand causes devastation with the simplest spells. We'll be sending Potter to the hospital wing in a match box. Might I suggest someone from my own house? Either Malfoy or (y/n) perhaps?"
"Very well. Why not have a sibling duel that would be interesting."
Professor Snape then turned around and motioned with his arm for you to get on stage. You looked at Draco before mouthing
"Pay back time for the quidditch game."
Draco smiled at your response to being picked for this duel. You got onto the stage and pulled out your wand. When Harry and Lockhart crossed paths you heard him say
"Good luck Potter."
"Thank you sir."
You and Harry were now looking right at each other.
"Wands at the ready." Lockhart said.
You and Harry put your wands like you were holding a sword and you said
"Scared? Potter?"
Harry then looked at you with determination
"You wish."
You and Harry then walk to you spots.
"On the count of three you will use your wands to cast a charm to disarm your opponent. Only to disarm we don't want any accidents here. One...Two."
You didn't wait for the count three before flicking your wand and saying
"Everte Statum!"
Harry was then thrown across the dueling platform onto his back. Many of the slytherins were laughing at Harry. While you were smiling and looking over to Draco. Draco was laughing at Harry and saw you look over to him and he smiled at you.
Harry got up and looked angry at you and quickly flicked his wand before saying
"Richtusempra!"
When the spell hit you, you felt like you were being tickled everywhere. You were laughing really hard. Draco was in awe at your laugh. To him and a lot of other boys your laugh was like an angels. You finally got over your laughing fit by Snape holstering you up. Many of the boys in the room had a slight blush on their face but Draco wanted to kill all the other boys for even thinking you would leave him.
Professor Snape then whispered into your ear to use Serpensortia against Harry. You picked up your wand and turned towards Harry looking very angry.
"I said disarm only!"
You raise your wand and said
"Serpensortia!"
A large red snake the appeared in between you and Harry ready to attack Harry. Many of the students were whispering about the spell you just did. Many where wondering how you could even use such a spell. Serpensortia is not a spell most second years can use. Harry then lowered his wand and stared at the snake.
"Don't move Potter I'll get rid of it for you." Snape said.
"Allow me Professor Snape. Alarte Ascendare." Lockhart said.
But instead of the snake being destroyed it was instead flung into the air and landed with a loud thump. The snake looked really angry. You even heard it say
"Stupid humans. You shall pay for that."
The snake then turned towards some random Huffelpuff and looked ready to attack him. Harry then started to walk towards the snake and was making hissing noises. The snake seemed to be egged on by Harry. However you could understand what Harry was saying.
Everyone seemed to be surprised by Harry speaking parseltongue. Many people where whispering saying that Harry was the heir of slytherin. You rolled your eyes. Harry couldn't be the heir since that would me you were the heir as well.
Right when the snake was abut to attack the Huffelpuff professor Snape pointed his wand and said
"Vipera Evanesca."
The snake disappeared and everyone was looking at Harry with a look that said we don't trust you.
"What the hell was that Potter?!?" The huffelpuff said.
Harry seemed to come out of his trance like state and look around confused at why everyone was looking at him like he was evil. Harry then ran out of the room. After Harry left a lot of people turned towards you and one person asked
"Are you a parseltongue as well (y/n)?"
You turn towards the rest of people and said
"Kind of. I can under stand parseltongue but I can not speak it. And don't ask I have no idea what Potter was saying I could barely hear him."
You then went over to Draco and the two of you left the great hall hand and hand.
