Okay so im not exactly sure how to do this but I'll do my best:))
This au takes place in the medieval era then the taiso era where the original story starts. The ubuyashiki kingdom is rule by you guess Kagaya Ubuyashiki. The enemy kingdom is the kibutsuji Kingdom ruled by yep Muzan Kibutsuji. Again the Hashiras are the personal knights of Kagaya and his family they are rank by how many times they saved Kagaya from an assassination attack here's the order:
Gyomei: 25 saves
Sanemi: 20 saves
Giyu: 17 saves
Obanai: 15 saves
Muichiro: 10 saves
Kyojuro: 7 saves
Kanae: 5 saves
Mitsuri: 4 saves
Tengen: 3 saves
Shinobu: 1 save
Kanae is dead before the story starts.
With that the uppermoons are Muzans personal knights so here's the order:
Kokushibo: 37 saves
Douma: 28 saves
Akaza: 26 saves
Hatangue: 20 saves
Nakime: 20 saves
Gyokko: 17 saves
Gyutaro/ Daki: 14 saves
Kaigaku: 12 saves
Nakime and kaigaku gotten promoted when upper moon 4 and 6 die. Also kaigaku was a knight in the ubuyashiki kingdom but then betrayed them and went to the kibutsuji kingdom. Oh and demons don't exist. I'll go in there backstories later starting with the Hashiras then the uppermoons then I can start actually writing the story so yeah hope you like this au this au was inspired by @S4Rd4st on YT.
