You and Newt were alone in the council hall debating on what job you would have in the glade. Newt was protective over you and didn't want you to get hurt while being a runner. He also knew for a fact Minho had a major crush on you and wanted him to back off. Newt wanted to protect you at all times, so he insisted you would work with him in the fields.
Newt slouched against the diagonal wooden pillar with the length of his strong arm resting on it. He watched you carefully with his brown bambi eyes. He already knew which job you wanted.
"Minho said I would make a good runner " you say proudly
"yeah.. well Minho's wrong" Newt says rolling his eyes
"you'll be better off with me in the fields" he insists
"but I want to be a runner, Newt" you beg
"too bloody bad (y/n)" he says feeling strongly on the matter
"but I'm not even good at gardening" you carry on complaining
"Its okay, I can teach you. You just cant leave my side, okay?" he gently encourages you
"fine. I wont be a shucking runner then.." you say throwing your hands up frustrated
"thank you (y/n)" he says relieved
You refuse to look at him. You cross your arms looking pissed off. He could see you were upset about not getting to be a runner but he edges closer to you, eyeing you up and down biting his lip.
He stands inches in front of you now and by now you had no choice but to make eye contact with him and your crossed arms had fallen to your sides.
"How ever could I show my appreciation, love?" he softly mumbles with a slight smirk
You feel his warm breathe ticklish against your skin, his eyes begin to wonder to all the places he had only dreamed of kissing you, your lips,everywhere. You had caught onto his motive by now, and your lips parted open slightly at his touch as his hand strokes the length of your arm slowly, sending goose bumps all around.
"I think you know a way..." you mutter keeping your eyes on his
Soon his eyes find his way up and a wave of compulsion hit him as you said that. In a split second he slams you up against the wall, pushing his hips into yours slowly, pinning one of your arms above your head enclosing you with his little distance. He whispers in your ear, his voice now low and raspy.
"is that so?" he says with a quirking smirk on his face
"I think you know so" you tease
and with that, he slams his lips into yours kissing you how he had been yearning to do ever since he saw you: passionately and roughly. Your lip work well and in sync. He keeps you pinned against the wall. You soon find your legs had raised to his sides and he had you hoisted up, grabbing your thighs. He was going to show you why he didn't want you to leave his side...
