"TYLER PERRY!!", i screamed. Oh my word Tyler Perry is our drama coach! I really cannot believe my eyes. Is this real? "Amandla!" Tyler shouted. "Good to have you here." "Uh uhmm uh." I stuttered. I still couldn't believe it. I always wanted to work with Tyler Perry and be on one of his movies but thought i wasn't good enough. Did-did he just say my name? He knows my name!!?!? Oh my word im totally dying. "Uh uhmm afternoon Mr Perry." "Hey Amandla, how are you today?" He asked. "I-I'm good thanks Mr Perry and how are you sir?" "I'm delighted as soon as i saw you dear, just call me Tyler."
I'm not used to calling an elderly by their first name. I mean really its disrespectful. I'm not sure if i can get used to this name calling system but i guess i have no choice as thats what he prefersnto be called. "Ok class we have a new student joining our class, please welcome Amandla." "Hi Amandla." The whole class greets. Wow so welcoming. Getting smiles from everyone, i don't really know if they all real or not. But very welcoming.
"Ok class, today it's all about emotion, breaking down and really getting deep into it. So i brought one of my favorite actresses who starred in my movie called For Colored Girls. Here's Kimberly Elise." Everyone applauds. Wow Kimberly is such a good, no GREAT actress. She is amazing, her emotions seem so real. On Colored Girls she was the most emotional, i cried watching that movie.
"Ok guys this week you going to be assessed on how you give out the emotion you supposed to be feeling at that given moment. So get into groups and we will give each of you a role, ok?" So we got into groups of 5 and they gave us a role to act out.
Drama class was really fun, i enjoyed it. So we walk down the hallway to our lockers to get our science books for the next lesson. While we walking to our next class, we bumped into the A-Listers crew. " Argh yall two again!" Peyton List said while rolling her eyes. "Like are yall two following us or something?" China asked but sounded more like statement. "Ide rather follow a total looser than yall guys!" Zara said and grabbed my arm and stormed off. Wow she really got guts.
So we made it to our next class, the science class. We were 5 minutes late but tthe teacher didn't fuss about it but said..."Amandla! Wow great to have you here. Sit Sit, come join us. We doing a practical so grab your lab coat and lets get started. Ok? Ok." Wow everyone is just so welcoming. I guess this school isn't bad at all. "Morning sir, thank you." Zara and I get a plave to sit next to each other. So we get comfortable and i notice that Brooklyn is in our class. Wow. Brooklyn. I couldn't stop myself but stare. His eyes are just so....i don't know, pretty? His so dreamy. His so into what the teacher is saying. His so focused. Wow. While day dreaming about Brooklyn i hear the teacher call my name continuesly. "Amandla?" "Oh ye-yes Sir?" The class giggles. Brooklyn turns back and smiles. Wow his smile just fills my heart with joy. "Do you understand?" "Oh uhmm ye-yes Sir." "Good. Ok lets get started, so ill give you all a partner to work with." The class sighs as they wanted to be with their friend.
The teacher pairs us all up. "Brooklyn you with Amandla." What!?!?! Me? With Brooklyn? No he aint serious. "Amandla? Sweety you have to wake up. Come on. Go sit with your partner." So i stood up, took my chair and sat next to him. "Hey hun. Nive to see you again." I looked away and blushed. I turned to Zara who was partnered up with Cameron Boyce. She put a thumbs up and smiled. I turned back to Brooklyn and said..."Yea, uhmm good to see you again too." Omg Brooklyn is such a babe.
"I'm surprised you do science too hey Rue." "What is that supposed to mean?" I giggled. Is he tryna say I'm dumb. Nah. "Lol never mind that hun lets get to work." So we started our practical. It was super fun especially having Brooklyn as my partner. His so funny. We were the noisiest. Laughing off our chairs. "Oh my word you so funny." "Well i try." he replied while we continue to laugh at the last joke. "Oh i see you two are working. Come on guys focus and stop goofing around." the professor said. We finnally our practical and the lesson ended.
Am i falling for him? Well i can't be, i just can't be falling for him. Ok maybe just alittle crush. Zara and i walk out and head to our lockers. "Oooooh so i see you and-" "Stop right there! No there's nothing going on and there won't be. I don't want boys to be a distraction. Ok?" "Ok then but yall two are so cute together." zara said while pouting. "Nooooo. Stop. Please." I don't want my feelings to get to far. I need to end it here.
