7 years later...
I am in the kitchen singing and dancing along to a very old song called "Don't Stop" by 5 Seconds of Summer.
"Mommy your so silly" little Aria says
"Am I silly or are you boring? Come on sweetheart!" I say picking up Aria and spinning her around
"Ahhhh, put me down mommy that tickles!" Aria says laughing
"Never. I love you baby girl and don't you forget it"
"I love you more mommy" she says kissing me on the cheek.
"Not possible. Where's Tyler?"
"He's playing with his toys upstairs" Aria says
"Honey I'm home" Drew says
"Daddy!" Tyler and Aria say running up to their dad
In case your wondering, yes me and Drew did get married and had two little ones: Tyler, named after Drews dad, he's 5 and his twin sister Aria who obviously is also 5.
Brandon and Kayla split up in junior year of college but they still remain great friends. They are both happily married and have kids ( with other people)
" I almost forgot, I have to call Brandon to ask him if Sarah and the kids are coming with him to visit"
"Okay, I will go set the table for lunch" Drew says
"Hello?" Brandon says
"Hey, quick question. Are Sarah and the kids coming with you?"
"Of course" he says
"Perfect! I'll see you in a few hours, love you bye" I say hanging up

Ding dong
"That must be Kayla and Sam" I say rushing to the door
"Hey cuz" I say opening the door and hugging Kayla. I see that she dyed her hair again but this time is a purplish red. Leave it to Kayla to get a bold color.
"Hey! Oh my gosh it's been so long. How are you" Kayla says
" I'm good the kids are a handful but I love them"
"Same here, speaking of little rascals o have Samantha here with me, Sammy go give aunt Claire a hug" Kayla says and she gives me a hug
"Hi aunt Claire" she says
"Hi Sammy!" I say "Tyler, Aria Samantha's here" I say and they come running down
A couple hours later, Brandon and Sarah come with the kids. All the kids go to play and we have adult talk time.
"So what's new?" I say to Kayla
"Well, I'm pregnant again" she says
"Omg that's great!" I say pulling her into a hug.
"Yup" she says smiling " and I couldn't be happier"
"Same here K" I say
After all the bad things that have happened to me, I'm glad that good had come from it. I have two kids, I married my best friend, and my two other best friends live near by, I couldn't have asked for a better life.
I believe that everything happens for a reason and I definitely believe that all of the bad things that happened to me happened for a reason. I think that God has a path for everybody and that this is the path that I was meant to live. Do I believe that I'll be reunited with Aria one day? Definitely. I have high hopes for that. Even through all of the bad stuff came good and I'm certainly thankful.
I have all that I could ask for.
