I always feel the need to slap the scriptwriter of a highschool movie. Movies make it out to be the best four years of your life, where all the memories are made. Well thats a lie. Here is were you are labeled.
The funny thing is, nothing is different. Nothing changes. You’ll always have your jocks, nerds, tree huggers, populars, and stoners. No matter where or how many times you move.
New town, same school, same parking lot. Everyone obsessed with the freedom of their first car. It's an identity. Like the Muscle cars(jocks) who think they own the road, and check out every passing Vehicle.
Then theres your Smart Cars(nerds) who don't fit in.
The I'm-so-perky-I-might-shake-off-my-tube-top cutesy cars.
And then the most dangerous vehicle on the road. The high maintenance sports cars. Also known as, the populars. If they liked you, your life was all green lights. If they don't you were nothing more than a wreck on the side of the road.
At Stelcy High they were known as The Pops. Short for popular. Everything is so similar to the many schools I've been to. 3 popular girls. The least popular out of the 3 flanked the right side, the 2nd popular flanked the left, and then there's the most popular. She got Middle position. The most popular of them. Maddi Jacobo. She always dotted name with a signature heart above the i in her her name. Probably because she didn't actually posses that organ.
Her two sidekicks were Patricia Holden. She goes by Trish. Who is stupid enough to hit a homerun with any boy willing to play. And Hope Locket. Oober anal about germs. She believes it leads to ugliness which leads to death. And thus my number one rule to survival. No girl drama. Actually, no drama period
