I sat in my large room hands hovering over my half zipped duffel.
The rain pounded against the window like they were also trying to escape itself, I took a shuddering breath in that broke into a slight heave.
I zipped the bag and winced at how loud it was, my head jerked up.... Nothing. No footsteps or unusual movements. Life went on normal and unaware of the turn of events.
I hoisted the bag on my shoulders and walked through the main hallway.... Clear as I had calculated, I made way to the hall window and unhinged it bolts open.
The wind slapped my face hard as the curtains billowed behind me from the impact of the wind.
I sauntered down the iron ladder that I placed earlier in the afternoon, making my way down the ladder and trying hard not make a sound was impossible and the raging rain and wind were abrupt liabilities.
Finally, I got to the bottom and my feet hit the ground with a soft 'SQUELCH'.
The rain had already soaked through my shirt making it semi visible and mu tights cling to my thighs.... But the worst part was my hair, the rain had almost soaked through the mass of curly hair on my head making it somewhat heavy and hard to see.
I searched my pockets for a hair band... Nothing.
"Just what I needed" I whispered harshly to my self as the rain got annoyingly windy.
18 years old me tiptoed through the the massive garden and made way to the unattended back gate barefoot.
I was exhillarated. Sorry my bad.
Scared as hell.
Tonight was the night, that I would finally escape from this dungeon of torture, the mere thought of it made my body respond with electrifying joy.
I nearly shed tears of joy.
After 6 years of calcutad observation and humiliating fails, I'm finally doing it. Escaping this place like it's nothing.
Oh God, please save me.
My Master had gone out for a business meeting not too long ago, and I had expected him to ask me to tag along as he likes to show me off.
But what I wasnt expecting.
Wa for him to leave me at home.... His home, getting ambushed by his opponents and rivals, and now almost all his men are out.
Especially the ones at the back gate.
He may had thought I was to submissive to pull out an escape plan that could actually work.
HA! Guess someone was wrong.
I pushes some old boxes and chairs on top of each other to help me scale the back massive back gate, once I had gathered enough I begun to climb upwards.
I jumped over the gate with the aid of the old boxes and chairs, landing on the ground with a harsh.
'THUD' that almost sprained my ankle.
Sweet beautiful, glorious, sexy freedom at last! I smiled like an idiot, knowing fully well that my freedom isn't secured till I'm countries away from this place.
I look ahead into the vast and thick forest beyond me, taking one last reassuring breath.
I broke into a run.
like run run. Heavy breathing, wind slapping your face run. My pace increasing with each distance I cover.
I could've sworn that running with a duffel bag wasnt going to be this easy, my hand instinctively moved to my shoulder to feel the strap of the bag.
I couldn't feel a thing.
Shit, shit, shit.
I freaking left it... My food, clothes and wad of cash all in that bag, the bag that's still at the backyard. The bag I put down to create a makeshift ladder out of chairs and wooden boxes.
Too bad... Cause there is no way I'm turning back, I surely don't know what to do when I'm stranded but I'm sure I'll think of something when that time comes but for now I have a different task at hand.
My legs were already giving out due to how long I had ran... Despite my body telling me to stop, despite my thighs burning, I didn't stop, I couldn't afford to get caught... Not when I've come this far.
All memories of abuse done to me flashed through my head, millions and millions of torture that had been afflicted on my body, I shuddered at the thought and shook it away not wanting to remember.
My pace started to slow down when my body registered I had covered a reasonable distance, I placed my hands on my knees hunched over and breathing like an excited dog.
I look back, thick nothingness....until a light hit my eyes like a freight train, I shielded my eyes from the bright red light that Shone directly at my eyes.
I gasped in shock and quaked in terror on an instant my heart nearly jumping out of my mouth.
"No, nononono" I shake my head furiously as I ran ahead, deep into a steep valley, the rain making the Rocky terrain slippery.
I could barely keep my footing, I slipped every single minute, making the red light gaining up on me.
I ran faster than I had ever run in y life the rain hitting against my face making it hard to see my hair billowed into my face making me trip and bash my leg into a narrow pot hole, I clenched my teeth in pain and attempted to stand again.
I dug my nails into the terrain breaking them ever so painfully and hoisted my self up. I tried to run but the sharp pain in my leg resonated through out my entire body making me fall yet again.
The red light had gotten so close, tears stung my eyes and my throat rose with bile.
Again, I stood limped-ran, I hadn't even gotten to a minute before I felt into a deep ditch and hit my head on a the clay ground.
I held my head feeling the pain go through different parts of my body.
I looked above me and saw the red lighthouse flashing into the ditch. Panic surged through my body once more, I crawled behind a large stone and lay flat on the ground, holding my breath till the light had gone.
After a few minutes, I sat on the rock and checked my ankle, it had a bad swell and blisters.

The morning sun hit my ete as I fluttered it open, I was freezing, my cloths were damp and I was dirty.
But unlike most people, I knew exactly where I was. I smiled to myself as I looked around the Ditch. It had a giant hole at the left corner.
I looked at the hole and my trembling hands. It's worth a shot.
I crawled into the dark hole that reeked of hot sewage, I cringe at the thought of the wet stuff my palms and knees pressed against.
Hours had passed, I could feel it through the rising temperature..... Or I was slowly heading to a lava pit.
I smiled assuringly to myself as I head deeper into the hole, I took a turn and the bright light of the sun hit my face for the second time today.
I almost gasped with happiness as my trembling hands and legs crawled faster through the hole and into the bright light.
I stood up from my crawling position and shielded my eyes from the light as I stared ahead to the beautiful Mordenised castle a few kilometeres away.
Freedom at last.
