Kit, Kaboodle, Gobbles, and Flappers are looked out of the window as they saw Flappers' home destroyed,
"Flappers...I'm sorry..." Kit said,
"My...home...my friends...they're all gone..." Flappers said,
"Hey, it's okay...we'll make sure to take you somewhere safe..." Kit said,
The ship then began heading towards the Farcade HQ,
When suddenly,
A massive portal suddenly appeared out of nowhere,
It was a massive crimson star with cubes floating all around it,
"THE HELL IS THAT THING?!" Kaboodle exclaimed,
That's when the ship suddenly began to get sucked into the portal,
"Kaboodle! Can you get us out?!" Kit exclaimed,
"I can't! The suction's too strong!" Kaboodle exclaimed,
That's when...something massive emerged from the portal,
The robot was massive,
Easily dwarfing the size of any ship the crew had seen,
And it was staring right at them...and Syntax,
That's when the thing began teleporting around both ships as the turbulence got worse,
"HANG ON TO SOMETHING!" Kaboodle exclaimed,
That's when the thing suddenly...disappeared,
Everyone in both ships breathed a sigh of relief,
Until what was once Flappers' home exploded AGAIN!
Except...it was a hundred times more powerful than Heat Death,
The shockwaves rocked both ships as they were sent flying into the portal,
Elsewhere,
A Farcade recon ship picked up the anomaly and saw what had happened,
"HOLY SHIT!" The captain exclaimed, before rushing towards the communications terminal,
"Sir, what just happened?!" One of the crew mates said,
"I GOT NO CLUE! Get on the line to HQ and tell Dusk about what the hell just happened!" The captain said,
That's when the communications opened up, and Dusk was in the HQ, which was equally panicking but Dusk remained calm,
"Captain, what's going on?" Dusk asked,
"Kit's ship just went into an unknown portal sir, and you got to see what came out." The captain said, displaying the machine and the destruction it caused,
That's when Dusk looked...distrubed,
"So...it's come true..." Dusk muttered under his breath,
"Sir?" The captain asked, confused,
"Captain, I need you to alert all Farcade ships, tell them to stay far away from the machine and the portal...this is far worse than the Syntax." Dusk said,
"Right away sir! But...what are we dealing with?" The captain asked,
"I...do not know." Dusk admitted,
That disturbed everyone around,
That's when the communications shut off as Dusk walked to the records,
"Sir!" A voice called out,
Dusk turned around to see Lulu racing towards him,
"Lulu, perfect timing, I need you to come with me...it's regarding what the portal Kit's team just went through." Dusk said,
The two then walked to the records room as Lulu was increasingly nervous about Kit's situation,
When the two got to the records, they went to the furthest side of it, where they saw a dusty old book,
"Sir...what is that?" Lulu asked,
"Something that would only be regarded as a fairy tale...but I believe it is now true...and if what is in the book is true...then we were wrong about the existence of Heat Death." Dusk said,
That made Lulu shocked,
"So...where are Kit and Kaboodle now?" Lulu asked,
"I believe they are the first ones in nearly a century to reconnect the Gameoverse...to the real Multiverse." Dusk said,
Elsewhere,
A band of heroes had barely escaped death, and they were now exploring the new world they were in,
"Y'know, it's kinda dull that we ain't seen another fella around here." Cuphead said,
"Yeah, you'd think there'd be more people around due to...everything going on." Madeline said,
"Indeed...I wonder if it just happened to us." Shovel Knight said,
Ghost didn't say anything as usually, but kept moving,
That's when Charlotte stopped,
"Hey, you okay?" Madeline asked, noticing what happened, causing everyone else to stop and look back,
"I...don't know...something's happened..." Charlotte said,
That's when something crashed right behind the group, causing all of them to turn around in surprise/shock...except for Ghost,
Inside,
Kit and the others groaned as they got up, looking around in shock,
"What...where are we?" Gobbles asked,
That's when the group saw the four heroes with their weapons raised, but Madeline was holding a frying pan since she didn't really have a weapon.
"Who are you?" Shovel Knight asked,
"Uh, who us? Nobody." Kaboodle said,
"They're from other universes, like us...but...they're different." Charlotte said,
"Wait...you guys know about the Gameoverse?" Kit asked,
That made Charlotte freeze while everyone else just looked confused,
"Game...o...verse? You hit your head lady? I ain't ever heard of a what's-it-verse." Cuphead said,
"I...wait...how? It's literally the universe!" Kit said,
"Is that true?" Madeline asked,
"No. Not entirely..." Charlotte said,
"Wait, what are you talking about?" Gobbles asked,
"I'll explain later, right now we need to get out of the open." Charlotte said,
The group then began walking with Nimble (The Ship) following them,
Shovel Knight then looked at what remained of his shovel,
"Oh, what happened to your shovel?" Kit asked,
"Ah, it got a bit broken during a little tussle, nothing a proper fix cannot handle." Shovel Knight said,
"Hold on, can I see it for a sec?" Kit asked,
"Of course." Shovel Knight said, handing her the shovel,
Kit then used her inventory to repair the shovel,
"Here you go." She said,
"My, quite the tool you go there!" Shovel Knight said, taking his shovel back,
"Yeah, it's helpful in a few situations." Kit said,
"That's awesome! Man, if I had that power, I wouldn't even worry about running outta snacks!" Cuphead said,
"Uh...I mean, yeah, they can be used for that as well." Kit said,
"So what the hell is going on around here?" Kaboodle asked,
"Well, basically all of our universes are coming together because of these red portals, and we're trying to find a way back home." Madeline said,
"How?" Gobbles asked,
"Rogues, they're evil robots that want to take over the worlds." Charlotte said,
"How do we know you're not one of them?" Kit asked,
"Because I would've stabbed you all in the back the moment we met...but I'm not like them." Charlotte said,
"Okay..." Kit said,
The group then found themselves at...a bar?
"Huh...that looks nice." Kit said,
"Hey is that a duck?" Cuphead asked, pointing to a nearby duck,
"I think it's a seagull." Madeline said,
"It must be a noble swan! Surely a sign of good fortune on our quests." Shovel Knight said,
"Wait I think it's actually a goose." Kit said,
Said goose had already run away...with Cuphead's bat!
"HEY! YOU'RE SOME-my legs aren't working." He said, falling flat on his face,
"Let us rest here for the time being." Shovel Knight said,
The group then opened the door as they saw golden statues,
"Creepy..." Kaboodle muttered,
"Out of all the places you had to choose the creepy bar." Cuphead said,
"Now's not the time to be picky." Shovel Knight said,
That's when two yellow eyes peaked out at them through the counter,
"Halt! Who goes there?" Shovel Knight demanded,
"Move an inch and I'll blast you into next week!" Cuphead said, finger gun at the ready,
That's when Ghost shrieked, catching everyone off guard,
"What'd he say?" Gobbles asked,
"Death threats." Charlotte replied,
That's when the mystery person revealed themselves...or herself,
"Oh! I'm sorry I was just...hiding. Sorry!" The kid said,
"It's no trouble, what were you hiding from?" Shovel Knight asked,
"These really scary robots, and there was this man fighting them, he was able to save me when they attacked me...I don't know if he's still alive out there." Niko said,
"Well taking on those machines are no simple feat, I'm sure he is fine." Shovel Knight said,
"Also...what's with the giant lightbulb?" Gobbles asked,
"Oh, this is the Sun...from my world, I was going to put it in before ending up here." The kid said,
"Oh..." Kit said,
She then realized that the group were heroes...just like her, Kaboodle, Gobbles, and Flappers,
But that also meant that whatever brought the kid here just saved the kid's home.
"Also, won't that thing hurt your eyes?" Cuphead asked,
"I believe a cats eyes work differently when exposed to such bright light." Shovel Knight said,
"I am...not a cat." The kid said,
Shovel Knight's immediate reaction afterward:
"I am Niko! A person." Niko said,
"Huh...so...do you have any powers or...not?" Gobbles asked,
"I can talk to God!" Niko said,
That's when everyone looked to where Niko was looking, which was currently at the ceiling,
"They tend to take a while." Niko said,
That's when Charlotte got an idea and used Niko's bulb to turn on all the lights in the bar,
Elsewhere,
Fold and Miss Information were currently looking for the world's heroes...they had no idea the truth,
That's when the two stumbled upon some...rather interesting characters.
"Oh, that's quite...interesting." Miss Information said,
"Welp, stand aside, I'll handle this." Fold said, turning into a piece of paper and letting himself be blown towards the two characters, the Behaded and Drifter,
"Huh?" Beheaded questioned, looking down at Fold,
Drifter was also curious as to how the paper suddenly appeared,
That's when Fold revealed himself, pretending to be Mr. Paper,
"Hi friends, I am-"
"AH! EVIL PAPER!" Beheaded exclaimed, instantly whipping out of the frying pain,
"Wait wha-"
Fold could barely finish before he got his ass kicked by Beheaded constantly smacking him with his frying pan,
"BEGONE SHITSTAIN!" Beheaded bellowed, throwing a trashcan at Fold, who went flying and crashed into Miss Information,
Both of them then went into a portal that opened up, sending the two elsewhere,
At Fazbear's Fright, Fold and Miss Information crashed right in front of two people,
One of whom was getting the shit beat out of by the other,
Back in the city,
"Huh...that was weird, anyway, better be going now...see ya peasant with a terminal disease, make your days count! I guess." Beheaded said,
That's when another enemy appeared and stole the portal energy,
"Really? Come on peasant, let's kick his ass." Beheaded said, slamming his hand onto the frying pan,
That's when the headless man then launched the grenade at the Rogue, who deflected it using his shield,
"Well that's useless now." Beheaded said,
Back at Fazbear's Fright,
"Uh...hi?" Fold asked,
That's when the kid (Frisk) began walking towards them, looking ready to beat the shit out of them,
That's when the portal malfunctioned and the energy shot right out towards Springtrap, who saw everything he had done in his life,
That's when his body began changing, and after that, his body was...different,
"Unbelievable, I can see...feel everything! This is beyond anything I could've imagined...including this Gameoverse I sense." Nightmare Springtrap said,
Fold and Miss Information were shocked,
He knew about the Gameoverse?! How?!
Frisk was equally shocked, but only because of how Nightmare Springtrap had her necklace, and he destroyed it, slamming it down onto the ground,
"You've brought along quite the gifts, little ones, now...about a little game..." Nightmare Springtrap said, before floating upward,
"GATHER AROUND FRIENDS! THESE KIDS COULD USE SOME COMPANY!"
That's when all of them arrived,
All of the animatronics,
Together,
Frisk merely stared at them, before grabbing Fold and Miss Information and running as fast as she could,
The animatronics gained chased, with Foxy lunging at them but Frisk kicked him away,
That's when the area changed to the buried location,
Plushtrap and a Minireena tried to grab Frisk but she merely punched them away,
But the Cupcake tried eating her face off which failed as Frisk got the thing off,
The Blob then emerged and tried to grab the three, but Frisk threw Fold and Miss Information to a safe hiding spot as she began to dodge the Blob's attacks, and climbed around DJ Music Man as well,
Frisk was able to use the Blob to her advantage and wrap it around DJ Music Man,
The other animatronics tried to attack as well but Frisk brought the sign down, resulting in the animatronics having to dodge and lose track of Frisk, so they continued onward but had no idea that Frisk was hiding behind a lamp,
When the animatronics were gone, Frisk collapsed to the ground,
However, the Puppet showed up but didn't attack, and rather stared at the necklace before leaving,
The three then breathed a sigh of relief and collapsed to the ground,
Back at Grillby's,
Kit collapsed into her seat as she tried to take everything in,
The multiverse did exist,
These guys had done impossible things,
And from the sound of it, some of them did complete their adventure and their worlds didn't undergo the Heat Death!
And now, these portals were sending them all across the multiverse, with these Rogues trying to destroy those same worlds,
It just...felt insane,
"Hey, you okay?" Madeline asked, as Badeline appeared right besides her,
Kit still hadn't gotten used to that,
Badeline reminded Kit too much of Malice,
"I-I'm fine...just thinking." Kit said,
"You seemed pretty shocked when you heard some of us completed our adventures...something on your mind?" Madeline asked,
"Yeah, but I don't want to talk about it right now..." Kit said,
"Actually, I'm curious about something...what happens when a hero wins in your world?" Charlotte asked,
Kit froze,
Kaboodle, Gobbles, and Flappers immediately went stiff,
"I-it's...they get destroyed." Kit said, giving up,
Charlotte froze,
"Wait, what? But...how?" Cuphead asked,
"Heat Death...I saw it firsthand, I triggered the win condition in my original world...and I lost...everything." Kit said,
"But...Heat Death should only happen when a villain wins." Charlotte said,
That made Kit perk up,
"Wait what?" She asked,
"Okay, so...over the years, I've heard rumors about this...forgotten world. It was created by a wizard for the forgotten and dead, and that opened up the possibilities for more universes to exist in other multiverses. That's when the concept of the Gameoverse was created, but it was better known as the Playverse back in the day before the name changed to Game-O-Verse, it did sound like game over-se but it wasn't intended to be that way. The place was where games were real life worlds with their own stories and everything. The anomaly known as Heat Death occurred whenever a villain won in its world, in which the game would reset by burning the world and reforging it anew, basically like a respawn for the whole world...but the way you say it...it's almost as if someone...or something, purposely changed the rules of the Gameoverse." Charlotte explained,
"Wait...so...when I fought Malice...and won...Heat Death...was never supposed to happen?" Kit asked,
"Yes, when a hero won in the Gameoverse, the win condition would've brought peace to that world, and the hero would either live a peaceful life...or continue going on adventures...those two choices kinda combined sometimes." Charlotte said,
"SO WHO THE HELL IS RESPONSIBLE FOR KILLING EVERYONE WE LOVED?!" Kaboodled barked,
"I...don't know..." Charlotte admitted,
That was a lie,
She did know,
But the trauma was too much for her to handle,
She didn't want everyone to know,
Not yet.
"I...I can't believe this...I gotta go." Kit said,
"Where are you going?" Gobbles asked,
"Somewhere I can clear my head." Kit said,
"I'm coming with you in case you land into trouble." Kaboodles said, hopping onto Kit's back,
The two then exited the bar and headed...somewhere far.
"Hey, you okay?" Kaboodle asked,
"No...not really..." Kit said,
"Yeah...it sucks don't it? Knowing we were supposed to have peaceful lives after we beat Malice and Mayhem...but now...whoever that bastard is...they stole our future from us." Kaboodle said,
"Which is why I'm going to rip them apart once I find them." Kit growled, her voice dangerously low,
Kaboodle felt a little...nervous,
He'd never seen Kit THIS mad before,
And that was saying something,
That's when the two saw green and black...cubes fall from the sky,
"What the?" Kaboodle asked,
That's when they heard explosions from where the cubes fell, so the two checked it out and Beheaded and Drifter fighting Game Master,
Game Master currently had no legs, as they were taken off by Drifter.
The Rogue then fired a blast at Drifter who countered but was shrunk by Game Master,
However, Beheaded slammed Game Master's head into the ground,
Game Master then got up, and his body was completely dissected by Drifter,
Game Master then made Drifter big again,
"There you are!" Beheaded said before his body was morphed, making him look skinny, "Huh?"
That's when Game Master launched an energy attack that...did nothing at all since it passed between Beheaded and Drifter,
Game Master then looked at his arm and blasted it off,
The arm deactivated as Game Master growled,
That's when Beheaded continuously smacked Game Master on the head, before the Rogue smacked Beheaded away and changed his size to normal,
"Oh, thank God, that was weir-"
That's when Beheaded's body shrunk, making him look flat,
"You gotta be kidding." He said,
That's when Game Master's arm regenerated as he chuckled and did a pose,
"Screw it." Kit muttered,
That's when he fired a plasma blast that completely destroyed Game Master's body while Drifter went for the head but failed,
That's when Drifter dashed right next to Kit, before the drone showed that their weapons having no effect on the head,
Game Master fell to the ground and noticed this:
Game Master got scared and flew away,
But Drifter wasn't letting that happen,
The man dashed forward and leapt off the building as Game Master reformed,
Drifter then grabbed Game Master's head piece, and dashed to the ground,
"Wait...that's it!" Kit realized,
"What?" Kaboodle asked,
"The headset is what's causing his shield to be activated!" Kit said,
"Ah, so just blow it to shit and no more shield." Kaboodle said,
"Yes!" Kit said,
That's when Drifter used the headgear and slammed Game Master into the ground, before dragging him towards the warrior,
Game Master tried to change Drifter, but the high-speed warrior dodged and Game Master changed Beheaded instead, who slammed his pan down onto Game Master,
The drone was visibly cracked but it didn't care as it grabbed Beheaded and launched him up into the sky, with the head gear trying to follow.
Drifter tried to hold on but the head gear slipped out of his grasp
However, Kit blasted the headgear to pieces,
Game Master was shocked by this,
That's when Beheaded tried to do a sick trick to get Game Master off of him but...it failed as the Rogue sent Beheaded flying into multiple buildings,
That's when multiple cubes surrounded Beheaded and exploded as Game Master snapped his fingers,
Kit, Kaboodle, and Drifter looked in shock at what happened as Game Master crashed to the ground, his body already looking different,
OVERHEATING!
Tip: Assure the anomaly that fighting is futile.
Game Master then tried to force Drifter to see the future of his life, but before he could,
Kit pushed Drifter out of the way, as the chains wrapped around her instead,
Kit was then forced to see...her home,
She saw her mom...her dad...Scratch,
Everyone who she cared about,
All there,
Except...something was different,
These weren't her memories,
Kit noticed how the edge of town looked different,
As if someone had placed her town in a completely different world,
That's when she saw a massive storm circling above the land,
Lighting crackled as she saw...something emerge from the darkness,
The massive creature towered over the land,
However, Kit then saw fireworks being lit up as the thing recoiled in pain, screeching in agony as she saw two figures launched upward into the sky,
One red, the other blue,
Whatever they were...it seemed...beautiful,
Kit then saw the sky turn blue as fireworks continued to erupt from the sky as blue paint rained down, and she saw that the land was...flourishing once the blue paint made contact with the ground,
Kit then stared at the space around her wondering...if this was real-
Kit was then smacked awake by Beheaded with his frying pan, who then sent Game Master flying,
"NAP'S OVER KID! TERRIBLE TIMING FOR A SIESTA!" Beheaded snapped, slapping Kit multiple times and snapping his fingers in her face,
That's when he and Drifter noticed Game Master charging up a devastating attack,
"Oh great..." Beheaded muttered, before running to get some gear from hid wide range of equipment,
That's when Game Master launched his attack as Beheaded grabbed Kit and Drifter and hurled both of them high above the attack,
Drifter, Kit, and Kaboodle stared in shock as the gear was just about to hit Beheaded, who had his shield,
That's when...the attack passed?
Until Beheaded opened his eye and saw his lower half separated from his top half,
"Goddamnit." He muttered,
Kit and Drifter crashed to the ground,
Kit groaned in pain as she tried to look at her health, but the pain said it all,
It wasn't good.
Game Master also landed, and he was sparking,
Beheaded then turned back into his gooey form,
At Freddy's
Frisk saved her data before standing up,
"Alright, WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!" Fold exclaimed,
"SHUSH! We don't want those freaks coming back!" Miss Information hissed,
That's when a new animatronic appeared,
"Gegory is that you?" The animatronic asked,
"Uh...no?" Fold said,
"I see...who are you three then?" The animatronic asked,
"Well-" That's when Fold stopped as the group heard the rest of the animatronics coming,
"Quick! Get in! I'll get us out of here!" The animatronic said as the chest cavity opened up,
The three wasted no time in getting into the chest cavity, though Miss Information had to curl into the fetal position to fit,
The animatronic then made a b-line for safety,
"I don't know what's going on, but I'll keep you three safe, do you have a name?" The animatronic asked,
Frisk merely punched the animatronics' insides,
"Oh right, I'll keep going. I see an elevator ahead." The animatronic said,
That's when the animatronic got inside of the elevator as it began to go down,
"My name's Freddy by the way, do you mind if I scan you?" Glamrock Freddy asked, trying to scan Frisk, Fold, and Miss Information but Frisk punched the bear, causing his head to spin,
"Duly noted." He replied, spinning his head back the other way,
The elevator then stopped and revealed the insides of another pizzeria,
"We need to lay low, I do not-"
Frisk then went into a room,
"GREG...KID!" Freddy exclaimed, but the door slammed shut behind him, Fold, and Miss Information,
"What a dick!" Fold said,
That's when Frisk reappeared and hopped into Freddy's chest cavity, locking it...but not before punching Fold in the eye,
"Don't worry, I will protect you...all three of you." Freddy said,
The three then went into the room...and found a lot of Endoskeletons there in various poses,
That's when they came to a roadblock,
"The path is blocked by what appears to be-"
Frisk then got electrocuted, thinking she could walk right through it,
"Electric bars." Freddy finished,
"HA! Let me show you how it's done kid." Fold said, turning into a piece of paper and trying to slip through the cracks...only to be set on fire,
"AH! OH GOD, SOMEONE PUT ME OUT!" He exclaimed,
Miss Information laughed at seeing her partner's misfortune,
Frisk just looked annoyed and walked to a vent, where she was able to get to the other side and turn off the bars,
"Way to go Superstar!" Freddy said,
However, the animatronic bear didn't see that all the endos were now looking at Fold, Miss Information, and Frisk,
But the other three did, and they just stared at the large numbers behind Freddy,
"What?" He asked, not knowing the mass of endoskeletons behind him,
Luckily Freddy noticed and barged into a room and slammed the door behind him as Frisk fell out,
"Are you alright?" He asked,
"Fine..." Fold grumbled,
"Please wait a moment, there's a recharge station here." Freddy said, beginning to recharge inside the pod while Frisk saved her data,
The kid then noticed an arcade game and decided to play it,
However, the three didn't notice Helpy above them, and he tried to ambush the three but...failed,
The little bear then screamed, with Fold panicking and trying to shut him up,
But it was too late,
"There you are." Vanny said, stabbing Frisk in the shoulder,
The kid tried to retaliate but Scrap Baby appeared and used Miss Information and Fold as a weapon, sending the two flying into Frisk,
All three of them crashed into the wall as the rest of the animatronics appeared, lifting Frisk up as Nightmare Fredbear approached and was about to bite Frisk's head off,
Back at Grillby's,
Cuphead was staring off at the rest of the city with Gobbles,
"You think Kit and Kaboodle are okay?" Gobbles asked,
"Dunno, they usually take long walks like this?" Cuphead asked,
"I...don't know." Gobbles said,
"Well, I can't blame them, they did learn that someone had caused their home to be destroyed." Madeline said,
"Yeah...I just hope they're okay." Gobbles said,
Back on the battlefield,
Drifter looked at his sword, before seeing the Jackal nearby as Game Master walked to a water tank and ripped it open,
Game Master's body then returned to normal, along with his head gear,
Kit groaned as she knew they had to do everything all over again.
Though...she didn't know if she had the strength to continue,
That's when explosion occurred behind Game Master, causing the machine to look around the area but he saw nothing,
That's when a double-headed lance embedded itself into the ground next to Game Master, startling the Rogue as he looked at the weapon.
"HEY SHIT BAG!"
Beheaded then slammed his foot down hard onto Game Master's head, causing a massive explosion as Beheaded grabbed his lance,
"You should look up more often." He quipped,
Game Master growled as Drifter sliced apart Game Master's body and healing as the warrior fired his plasma weapon at Game Master, with Kit doing the same,
Both blasts hit Game Master's headgear, completely destroying them as the three tag teamed and beat the absolute shit out of Game Master, who couldn't do anything against them,
The Rogue howled in pain as Drifter unleashed a massive blast of energy, sending Game Master flying into a nearby wall,
Beheaded then launched his wolf traps at Game Master, trapping the Rogue as Kit fired a charged shot from her blaster, while Kaboodle launched a rope from his storage unit, causing Game Master to be tangled up in both the trap and rope,
That's when all three of them launched a massive attack that created a massive explosion, which sent out a massive shockwave that rattled the entire city,
Kit was panting heavily as Drifter did his signature move, with Beheaded trying to copy him but failed as his lance hit him in the face,
Beheaded sighed as Drifter helped him up,
"Mind if I do the honors?" He asked,
"Sure." Kit said,
Beheaded then walked over to Game Master's corpse and flipped him the bird,
"OH YEAH! EAT THAT YA TIN CAN!" Kaboodle cheered, kicking Game Master's corpse away...which ended up in the nearby waterways,
That's when Kit realized something,
"Wait...wasn't that a Rogue?" Kit asked,
That's when Kaboodle realized it too,
"Oh goddammit." He muttered, facepalming,
"A what?" Beheaded asked,
"We'll explain later, come on, we have to get out of here before more of these things show up." Kit said,
"Alright, lead the way kitty cat, also...you got a name or do I just call you Kitty?" Beheaded asked,
"My name's Kit, and this is Kaboodle." Kit said,
"Sup." Kaboodle said,
That's when the three headed back towards Grillby's, not knowing the three robots staring at them,
Godotrix then went towards the waterways, ready to retrieve Game Master's corpse,
Back at Grillby's, the four entered the bar, getting everyone's attention,
"Holy crap Kit! What happened?!" Gobbles asked,
"We...kinda ran into some trouble, but thanks to these guys, everything turned out okay. This is Beheaded and Drifter." Kit said,
"Yo." Beheaded said,
"So...how did you get hose bruises?" Madeline asked,
"We...may have fought a Rogue...and killed it." Kit said,
"That's great-wait...where's the body?" Charlotte asked,
"Kaboodle kicked it into the river." Beheaded said,
There was a long and heavy silence as Kaboodle avoided Charlotte's gaze,
"YOU DID WHAT?!" Charlotte exclaimed,
"Hey! I didn't know it was a Rogue!" Kaboodle arguged,
Charlotte stuttered with her words, before groaning,
"Ugh...let's just...figure out how to get the body another time, we still need to rest up." Charlotte said,
"Alright..." Kit said,
The group then relaxed as Cuphead bit down into an apple, but gagged at the taste,
The cup then saw a whole turkey and immediately went to eat it.
But Shovel Knight ate the entire thing in one bite,
"HEY!" Cuphead whined,
"Sorry, but I must be at my peak strength. Fear not! I shall find an alternative for you." Shovel Knight said,
The blue knight then made Chester appear out of his chest,
"Hey blue guy, what are you buyin?" Chester asked,
"Got any goods for sale Chester?" Shovel Knight asked
"I've got all the goods; you just name them." Chester said,
"Hey, wasn't that the bat I found on the ground?" Cuphead asked, pointing to the bat, which didn't have any blood on it,
"You must be thinking of something else!" Chester said, sweating,
"Suuure...anyways, I want...PANCAKES!" Cuphead said, before gesturing to Madeline about what she would want,
"Pancakes would be nice." Madeline said,
Cuphead then looked to Niko,
"I would also like some pancakes too please, if you don't mind." Niko said,
"I second that." Gobbles said,
"Third." Beheaded replied,
Drifter gave a thumbs up, indicating he too wanted pancakes,
"Same here." Kit said,
"Eh, I'm good." Kaboodle said,
"I would like some too!" Flappers said, excited to finally have something to eat,
"That would be...250 each." Chester said,
"That's like 2000 dollars." Madeline muttered,
"Don't worry folks, it's on me tonight." Cuphead said, tossing a coin to Chester,
"Sorry whimsical talking flask but a coin ain't enough." Chester said,
Cuphead immediately wanted to shoot Chester right there and then since he got tired of being called a flask,
"I think I can pay for that, although...it's very overpriced, don't you think?" Madeline asked, handing Chester some cash,
"Sorry, but I only do gold pieces kid." Chester said,
That's everyone groaned since they didn't have any gold on them, well...except for Beheaded, Kit, and Shovel Knight,
"Got anything Shovel?" Cuphead asked,
"Aye, certainly, I have-"
Shovel Knight then remembered when he lost all his money on the Wasteland world, and how he screamed at the top of his lungs when he lost it,
"Could I perhaps receive a discount?" Shovel Knight asked,
That's when Beheaded produced a massive bag of gold coins from...somewhere,
And it hit the ground with a heavy THUD,
"This enough?" The man asked,
"Yup! Pleasure doing business with ya!" Chester said, handing the group their pancakes and disappearing into his chest,
Chester then emerged from another chest, where he flicked Cuphead's gold coin to the cook "Keep the change."
The chief gave Chester a thumbs up in response,
The group then sat down to enjoy their pancakes, as Shovel Knight continued to polish his shovel,
"Uh, this might be a really dumb question, but do you use a weapon?" Niko asked,
"Not a dumb question at all! Yes, I wield a trusty shovel in battle, it's great for digging and giving foes a good whack, though it's been through some tough times." Shovel Knight said,
"Hey, uh, we forgot to ask, what's with that...other you?" Gobbles asked,
"Oh, she's like a part of me, basically my pragmatic side." Madeline said,
"Huh, that's pretty cool." Gobbles said,
"No kidding! Thanks for the save by the way." Cuphead said,
"You're welcome." Madeline replied, that's when she turned to Charlotte "Hey, you never really told us your name."
"Does it matter?" Charlotte asked,
"Well, yeah, since you're helping us, it's better to know all of us by name rather than jump to assumptions." Madeline said,
Charlotte paused, before speaking, "Yeah, good point, call me Charlotte."
"Say, Miss Charlotte, how do we handle these Rogues? From what Beheaded has said, they are quite difficult." Shovel Knight,
"Well, the simple way is to stall until they overheat, while their drone shell prevents the portal energy from taking over, failure to cool down in time will cause it to take over. While it does work in our favor, it does make their attacks a lot more dangerous." Charlotte said,
"We saw one of them use water tanks to cool down...but we also saw glowing cracks when we were fighting them...does that mean something?" Kit asked,
"Yes, those cracks mean you have to go all out before they heal." Charlotte said, "That's all you have to know...now leave me be."
Everyone then looked in confusion but merely shrugged
Shovel Knight then found himself looking out of the window,
That's when Ghost used the Dream-Nail to hear what Shovel Knight was thinking about,
"Steady yourself, Shovel Knight. You must continue to be a symbol of hope to these young people; these struggles are yours alone to carry. They shouldn't be burdened with your sorrow, especially poor Kit, she has already gone through so much." Shovel Knight thought,
"Hey Shovel, what are you moping about?" Cuphead asked,
"Uh, oh! Nothing at all young cup!" Shovel Knight said,
"Hm...alright, say, how about a game of darts. You in? Let's call it a rematch!" Cuphead said,
"Your challenge is accepted!" Shovel Knight said,
Cuphead then looked over and saw a music player, and turned it on,
Cuphead tapped his foot to the beat, liking the song,
That's when the cup set up the target for he and Shovel Knight to use,
Shovel Knight went first, missing the target,
It was Cuphead's turn, and the cup clearly showed off, using his finger gun to send the dart flying everywhere, before landing on the target perfectly,
Shovel Knight was stunned, and Madeline wanted a turn, so Shovel Knight gave her a dart,
Madeline then threw the dart, getting a bullseye on the first try, and of course making Shovel Knight even more shocked.
Elsewhere, Gobbles was reading through Ghost's journal, and he also saw that a kid's face was intentionally blurred out,
Elsewhere,
Frisk was forcefully keeping Nightmare Fredbear's mouth open wide, shocking everyone as the kid threw the upper part of the animatronics' head into Toy Bonnie, sending him to the ground,
The rest of the Nightmare's tried to fight back, but they were taken out with ease,
Nightmarionne hissed as he tried to grab Frisk, but failed as the kid dodged but was caught by an endoskeleton,
But Frisk grabbed Nightmarionne's tendril and spun around, shocking the Nightmare animatronic as Frisk kicked it,
At Grillby's,
Cuphead and Shovel Knight were playing chess while everyone relaxed,
However, Cuphead lost and flipped the board in sheer rage, as Shovel Knight laughed, while everyone looked concerned,
Back with Frisk,
The kid jumped and avoiding Monty's fist,
The animatronic looked around to try and find Frisk, and found out he was on Monty's back,
Scrap Baby charged and tried to take Frisk out, but merely destroyed Monty's back, causing him to scream in pain,
"I'm putting you in time out." Moon said, trying to attack but Frisk shined him with a flashlight, causing Moon to scream and power down in the Family Guy pose,
Vanny tried to fight, but she missed,
That's when the girl realized she didn't have her knife, but Frisk did, and the kid stabbed her,
Miss Information and Fold just looked in shock since none of the animatronics cared about them,
Back at Grillby's,
Cuphead was playing Rock, Paper, Scissors with the gang,
He won against Madeline and Shovel Knight,
Though...no one knew if he had won against Knight, since the guy didn't really have fingers,
Back at Freddy's,
Frisk was using Vanny's knife to cut down all of the animatronics that stood in her way,
She was unstoppable,
Fold and Miss Information also tried to participate but they were nowhere near Frisk's power level,
Scrap Baby then charged at Frisk, who dodged and kicked her in the face,
Scrap Baby then tried to attack again, but failed, resulting in her losing her entire arm,
That's when Freddy arrived, pushing back Scrap Baby and grabbing Frisk, putting her into his chest cavity,
"I am sorry, I should've arrived sooner!" Freddy said,
Frisk said nothing, but that's when Freddy stopped and his eyes turned purple,
Frisk was confused,
That's when Freddy's chest cavity crushed Frisk,
Blood pooled out of the opening as Frisk collapsed to the ground, and her heart shattered into pieces,
Fold and Miss Information stared in shock, and that's when they saw the animatronics heading towards them,
"Ah shit." Fold said
Frisk then opened her eyes, and looked around to see the star,
Frisk was then about to touch it, when it suddenly turned purple,
"Do you think I wouldn't see through your little trick?" Nightmare Springtrap asked, teleporting to where the star used to be,
"I too have been curious, driven by the desire to explore the boundaries of life and death. My actions, your actions...they're born from the same curiosity, same desire for control. You know what you're capable of, how easy it is to...erase mistakes, start over and over again until you get what you want."
Frisk froze, remembering all the countless resets she had caused and done,
"Don't let a soft spot for that animatronic fool you into thinking you're any different from me. Deep down, you're just as much of a monster." Springtrap said, teleporting right in front of Frisk,
Frisk didn't reply and merely used the star to teleport,
"Well, fine by me." Springtrap said, teleporting as well,
Frisk found herself back in the place where she died, startling Fold and Miss Information,
That's when Nightmare Springtrap teleported in as well,
That's when the trio charged at the animatronic, trying to take him down,
But the damage didn't even hurt Nightmare Springtrap,
The animatronic then charged at the three as they were running away,
Frisk then blocked an attack with her knife,
Sparks flew as the knife suddenly shattered,
Fold then tried to wrap around Nightmare Springtrap, resulting in him getting punched in the nuts,
Fold was thrown right into Miss Information, and Nightmare Springtrap then teleported behind the two and sent them flying into Frisk,
The trio was then slammed into the wall multiple times, causing them to be sent to multiple locations,
Nightmare Springtrap then sent the three flying,
Frisk tried to reorinate herself but...Nightmare Springtrap was already behind them and slammed them into the ground,
"Ow..."Fold groaned,
That's when Springtrap lunged at them,
Frisk then grabbed onto Nightmare Springtrap and began punching and kicking him to no effect,
The animatronic then kicked the three into a generator,
"Ugh, this is getting annoying and ridiculous." Miss Information said,
Nightmare Springtrap then fired his eye lasers towards the group, forcing the group to dodge and head into a vent,
However, Nightmare Springtrap found them immediately, and caused the vent to collapse, resulting in the three falling into the ball pit,
"Oh hey, something soft." Fold said,
Miss Information then saw Springtrap right behind them, readying his laser again,
"MOVE!" She barked,
The group then moved as fast as they could away from the laser, when Nightmare Springtrap caused them to teleport into Princess Quest,
Fold and Miss Information groaned in pain,
That's when the group saw...the Puppet,
That's when the animatronic showed them two gifts,
The three had no idea what to do,
They had never experienced anything like this before,
"You...always tampering with affairs that don't concern you. Well, not anymore." Springtrap said, sending a collum of energy at the Puppet,
The Animatronic held back the column as the gifts unwrapped, revealing the locket, and a sword,
"Pitiful." Springtrap growled,
That's when the column completely crushed the Puppet.
But not the trio,
Springtrap growled when he saw Frisk wielding the sword and necklace...and Fold, who was acting as a shield,
Springtrap tilted his head in amusement,
This didn't frighten him,
Not one bit,
Frisk took a deep breath, and exhaled, ready to fight.
"No more haunting. This is where your story ends. ALL OF YOU!" Springtrap bellowed, unleashing another column of energy,
Frisk held strong and grabbed Miss Information before dodging the attack,
Springtrap turned and fired his lasers as Frisk, but in reality, it was just a lamp!
The real Frisk then walked into view, behind Springtrap,
"The longer you drag this out, the more painful your death will be, see how far it gets you." Springtrap declared, before transforming into a giant monster,
"Okay, that is terrifying." Miss Information said,
Frisk then created a hole, causing her and Miss Information to fall to the catacombs, where they ran as Nightmare Springtrap landed right next to them, summoning evil monsters, but Frisk dealt with them easily,
The two then began to dodge all the columns of energy sent towards them.
Frisk then launched herself up into the air, where Springtrap was about to fire his laser at Frisk, who dodged at the last second,
That's when the energy around Springtrap began to destabilize, and quickly too,
The giant animatronic monster roared in pain as he suddenly exploded, and his damamged form was launched out of the monster body,
Nightmare Springtrap then tried to open multiple portals, but failed,
Springtrap then looked at his hands, and saw Frisk charging towards him,
Springtrap roared as he tried to get Frisk, but failed,
Frisk then went for the legs,
Springtrap tried to hit her again, and failed again,
Springtrap turned and saw Frisk, Fold, and Miss Information standing atop the roof, and he growled as he tried to fire his laser, but failed,
The three then landed right in front of Springtrap, who tried to keep his Nightmare Form intact while walking towards the three,
However, his body exploded repeatedly as his Nightmare Form cracked and fractured,
Finally, Nightmare Springtrap's body shattered, and Springtrap was back to normal once again, with everything going back to normal,
The three then charged at Springtrap,
The animatronic corpse was able to look up just in time to see Frisk's shoe connect to his jaw, damaging it,
That's when Freddy charged in and punched Springtrap in the face,
"You will not take control of me." Freddy said,
That's when the trio joined in, jumping Springtrap with a combo move,
Frisk aimed for the head, Freddy aimed for the gut, Fold aimed for the nuts, and Miss Information aimed for the shins,
Springtrap groaned in pain as he couldn't keep up with the onslaught,
"I am me!" Freddy said, punching Springtrap,
"No...NO!" Springtrap exclaimed, before Frisk delivered the killing blow, sending Springtrap flying into the wall,
The group then looked at Springtrap, ready for anything,
"No...this is not how it ends..." Springtrap said,
Frisk then looked down and saw that the locket was always damaged,
"I...always...always..." Springtrap tried to finish but...he was dead,
That's when Fold threw the arcade machine at him, causing the others to look at him,'
"What? Just in case!" Fold said,
That's when a portal opened up behind the five, but...it was white,
Back in the City,
Game Master was able to be revived by Godotrix,
However, the Rogue was pissed off after getting killed, and wanted to finish the job,
That's when Game Master found the changes to Grillby's,
Inside, Charlotte sensed Game Master and froze, immediately signaling for any Drones out there that would still listen to her,
Game Master then tried to call for backup but was ambushed by a bunch of Drones that began to tear him apart, revealing his real form,
However, before the Drones could finish the job,
A portal opened up behind one of them and inky black tendrils pierced through the Drone's shell, completely taking it over,
The hijacked Drone then fired a beam of energy at Game Master, causing him to transform,
"Alright everyone, stay sharp. We have company." Charlotte said,
Everyone then got into battle positions as the roof came crashing down.
And Nightmare Game Master was revealed,
Shovel Knight then turned to everyone, who nodded, ready for the fight.
That's when Shovel Knight produced his trusty shovel, spinning it around proudly,
Shovel Knight then flung a chair at Game Master, who blocked it,
However, Shovel Knight was above Game Master and swung his shovel,
Unfortunately, Game Master dodged and sent Shovel Knight up into the air, where he wrapped chains around the knight and sent him flying to the ground before tossing him around the room, before sending him into a room which exploded,
Game Master looked to see if Shovel Knight was dead, but the knight walked through the flames like a badass and launched himself at Game Master,
But the Rogue kicked, punch, and sent Shovel Knight flying,
That's when Cuphead shot Game Master, causing it to look at the cup, who raised his finger up into the air,
Game Master immediately thought an attack from above was coming, but he got hit in the face with a chair again,
Game Master then turned his arm into a minigun and aimed it at Cuphead, who dodged the bullets and prepared to attack, but Game Master charged up a laser,
That forced Cuphead to dodge once again, but he got struck in the face by Game Master, sending the poor cup flying,
That's when Badeline fired her laser at Game Master,
The Rogue looked up to see the pragmatic side of Madeline in the air, and more energy balls were summoned and launched towards Game Master, who took all of them and attacked Badeline, but the attack phased right through her,
Game Master was taken off guard, and he was yet again hit by a chair from Madeline,
Game Master turned to face the mountain climber, who ran once she saw the laser coming right at her,
That's when Ghost attacked, slicing at Game Master's gear arm repeatedly,
That's when Ghost teleported right behind Game Master and took off a piece of his head gear,
Game Master tried to grab Ghost but failed,
The little knight then shadow charged at Game Master, who blocked the attack and sent Ghost out of the bar via the window,
Game Master then turned to Charlotte, who began to back away in fear, but she realized she was cornered,
Madeline then kicked at Game Master, who grabbed her by the hair,
Kit tried to attack as well, but was grabbed too,
Badeline then fired a laser, but Madeline was sent right towards her, causing the two to combine,
And Kit was also sent into Flappers, who tried to attack as well but obviously failed,
That's when Game Master summoned multiple gears midair and summoned chains to wrap around Charlotte,
Game Master was about to finish the drone when Drifter destroyed the Rogue's remaining headpiece,
Game Master then turned just in time to see a wolf trap hit him in the face (Courtesy of Beheaded),
The Rogue growled in annoyance and charged at the two,
Both gear blades collided with Drifter and Beheaded's blades,
That's when Beheaded aimed low and completely destroyed Game Master's chest,
Sparks rained from the exposed insides as Drifter stabbed Game Master through the head,
That's when Game Master's torso mouth clamped down hard on Drifter, who ignored the pain and kept his blade embedded into Game Master,
The Rogue then tried to show Drifter his future where he died, but Drifter pushed through,
He didn't care if he would die in the future,
He would make sure that Judgement would die when he got back home,
That's when Game Master's claw swiped at Drifter, causing him to lose a lot of blood and collide into the wall,
That's when Game Master tried to finish the job, but Niko and Gobbles threw a crap ton of Molotov cocktails at the Rogue, causing him to turn to the two, who ducked behind the counter,
That's when Shovel Knight came back into the fight and struck Game Master several times in multiple areas,
That's when Kit used a grappling hook she had and sent Game Master flying towards Shovel Knight, who dawned his Dust Knuckles and punched Game Master in the torso, sending the Rogue flying through his own gears,
That's when Cuphead shot Game Master multiple times using the Electro-Bolt as he then used Badeline's energy balls to get to Madeline, who used her dash skills to send her and Cuphead up higher into the air, where Cuphead was launched upward and emitted a lot of electricity, with Ghost dashing upward as well,
Shovel Knight then caught the electricity, as well as Ghost, who charged up as dash,
And at the last moment, Shovel Knight launched Ghost towards Game Master, who could only watch as Ghost collided with him, creating a massive explosion,
Game Master's corpse then collided with the ground...and he got hit by a chair again by Ghost,
The group then landed as Charlotte walked over to Game Master's corpse,
"Is that it?" Cuphead asked,
"Hopefully." Kaboodle muttered,
That's when Charlotte's spike penetrated Game Master's body, causing her to absorb the Rogue's body,
"Stay on guard." Shovel Knight said,
That's when Drifter was helped up by Beheaded and Niko, who handed the warrior his medical syringe, to which Drifter took it and patted Niko on the head,
That's when Charlotte finished absorbing Game Master's body, and her body changed as well,
Charlotte then floated up into the air, and was able to open up a portal,
"Alright, this should lead Shovel Knight back home, if you encounter anything unusually in your world, be careful, it could be a result from everything going on." Charlotte said,
"I see, thank you Miss Charlotte." Shovel Knight said, heading towards the portal
At the Tower of Fate,
Many Drones gathered around the portal, ready to catch Shovel Knight when he emerged,
That's when one Drone looked to the castle, where he saw Shield Knight, who was holding onto another Drone for support,
The rest of Shovel Knight's allies were there, ready to reunite with their friend,
That's when one of the other Drones smacked his friend on the head, signaling him to be focused,
At the City,
Shovel Knight was about to step through the portal, when he stopped,
"Shovel Knight, you okay?" Kit asked,
"Ey, shovel head, why'd you stop?" Kaboodle asked,
"I just...thought of something...Miss Kit, your home world...it was never supposed to experience this...Heat Death, correct?" Shovel Knight asked,
"Yes...why?" Kit asked,
"I just...perhaps I could postpone returning home for a bit." Shovel Knight said,
"What?! Why?!" Kit exclaimed,
"Yeah dude, why?" Kaboodle asked,
"It's just that...I know you would wish to find the person held responsible for causing the death of your loved ones, and I must agree...but no one should go through that alone...I would like to accompany you through your journey, no matter how perilous it may be." Shovel Knight said,
"Honestly, yeah, count me in too! Don't get me wrong, Inkwell Isles are a blast, but after hearing what you went through? I'd take traveling through the multiverse over going back home." Cuphead said,
"I agree, I may not be good at a lot of things, but I'll do my best!" Madeline said,
"I'd...like to come too! And who knows...maybe I could find another solution to the problem back home." Niko said,
"I'm game! This is way more fun than the shit I deal with. What say you, peasant?" Beheaded asked,
Drifter then nodded as well,
Ghost did the same thing,
Kit felt tears well up in her eyes,
"You guys...you...don't have to do that." Kit tried to argue,
"Eh, we don't have to, but we wanna. Plus, you're not just our pal anymore Kit, you're our family, and family always sticks together." Cuphead said,
Family,
That word echoed with Charlotte,
"Are you guys sure about this? I won't be able to control where we end up most of the times." Charlotte said,
"We're certain, we would also love for you to join us too, Miss Charlotte, you have proven to be a valuable ally here." Shovel Knight said,
Charlotte sighed, "Alright."
Everyone then cheered as Charlotte contacted the Tower of Fate, informing them of the plan,
She then received a message from said group, indicating they had told Shovel Knight's allies, who understand,
However, before Charlotte could close the portal,
Unithor came in and slammed his hammer down onto the portal, causing multiple white portals to emerge,
In the Tower of Fate,
The red portal instantly turned white,
That caused the Drones to panic and hurriedly close the portal before any damage could be done,
At the City,
Charlotte panicked,
"HURRY! IN THERE! NOW!" She barked, pointing to a portal at the far side of the bar,
The group ran as fast as they could, with Charlotte providing cover as she barely dodged Midusara's gold beam,
That's when Unreal emerged, and he looked directly at Charlotte,
Charlotte froze at the edge of the portal,
That's when she saw Unithor charging at her,
Charlotte felt time slow down, before she felt herself being grabbed,
Turning around, Charlotte saw Madeline as the one responsible for grabbing her, and she dragged Charlotte into the portal,
The drone then looked at Unithor lunging at her with pure fury,
Charlotte's "heart" ached,
Not because of how she could've gotten everyone killed,
But because of how her own brother looked at her like a complete stranger,
Like she never mattered to him,
Unithor nearly got Charlotte, but he failed as the portal closed in front of him,
At the underground pizzeria,
The group looked at the portal,
"Your way out, perhaps?" Freddy asked,
"Maybe." Fold said,
Frisk then turned to face Freddy, a bit upset to have to leave him behind,
"Goodbye, Superstar." Freddy said,
However, Frisk didn't want to say goodbye,
She clutched Freddy's leg tightly, not wanting to leave him like how she left her friends when she always restarted the world,
"Hm...I got an idea." Miss Information said,
The woman then grabbed Freddy and took a look at his operating systems,
Miss Information then saw the problem and fixed it,
"There, you don't have to worry of constant recharging now." Miss Information said,
"Thank you...um...my apologies, I never got your names." Freddy said,
"I'm Fold, and she's Miss Bitch." Fold said, resulting in Miss Information slamming her foot onto Fold's foot, causing him to yelp in pain,
"Ignore him, I'm Miss Information." She said,
"Well then, thank you. Now...let us see where this leads us." Freddy said,
The five then walked into the portal,
At the other side,
The City group stumbled out of the portal, groaning as they hauled themselves up,
"Where are we now?" Cuphead asked,
"No idea...I didn't get a proper reading on the world." Charlotte said,
"It looks...relatively peaceful." Madeline said,
That's when the Pizzeria group emerged from another portal,
"AH! Sweet fresh air-oh shit." Fold said, his happiness immediately fading when he saw the heroes, "Hey Kit...uh...been a while."
Kit immediately lunged at Fold, strangling him as Ghost tackled Frisk,
"WHOA, WHOA, WHOA! WHAT'S GOT INTO YOU KIT?!" Beheaded exclaimed,
Everyone immediately tried to get Kit off of Fold, while Madeline and Charlotte got Ghost off Frisk, but they did stay back from the kid,
"HE'S THE JACKASS THAT CAUSED MY WORLD TO DIE!" Kit hissed,

"Look, we understand you are angry...but we just had to survive from killer animatronics and a giant monster one! And they know about the Gameoverse!" Fold said,
"Yeah, these guys do as well, we told them." Kaboodle said,
"Wait...they...know about it?" Miss Information asked,
"Yeah, and apparently, there's this asshole who's responsible for Heat Death being caused by the heroes! The Win Condition was never supposed to destroy the worlds!" Kit said,
"WHAT?!" Fold and Miss Information exclaimed,
"Yup..." Gobbles said,
"Wait, so...WHO THE HELL WAS IT?!" Fold demanded.
"WE DON'T KNOW! That's why we're traveling around the multiverse now to try and find some answers!" Kit said,
"Well...could we come with?" Fold asked,
"Why? You guys are rotten eggs." Kaboodle pointed out,
"Well, yeah sure, but...Syntax's goal was to...well...restore the destroyed worlds, if we find out who caused the Win Condition to be messed up, then we're basically killing a bunch of birds with one stone. Think about it: Syntax gets to complete its mission, Farcade's mission is also completed by keeping peace on the worlds, and all of the worlds that were destroyed could be revived. It's a good plan, is it not?" Miss Information asked,
"Hm...okay, you have a point, but don't think I'm going to be buddy-buddy with you guys, and if you try to betray us, I'm leaving you both standard on a dead planet, got it?" Kit asked,
"Yup, crystal clear!" Fold said,
Frisk then gave a thumbs up,
"We sure we can trust her, she gives off a bad vibe." Cuphead said,
"Well...maybe, she honestly hasn't tried to kill us yet." Madeline said,
"Alright, come on, we need to find out where we are, and what we can do here." Charlotte said,
The group then began walking around the area, trying to find anything that could help them,
However, Charlotte stayed behind for a moment, before looking deep into her code,
She then found the single line of code she always despised,
MAIN OBJECTIVE: KILL THE MOUSE AND RABBIT.
SECONDARY OBJECTIVE: OBEY FATHER'S ORDERS.
Charlotte never really wondered why she kept holding onto those stupid lines of code,
That's when Charlotte looked around to see the group goofing off a bit while also trying to find anything they could to help them understand this world,
That's when Charlotte decided to delete the lines of code inside her,
And replace it with something...new:
New Objective: Protect my new Family.
Charlotte sighed,
She knew she had to tell the truth soon,
But...not right now,
She would wait until the time was right,
Then she would reveal the truth,
Charlotte then flew towards the others, catching up with ease as they continued to explore,
Back in the City,
Unithor and Midusara searched the area, as Unreal scouted from above,
Unithor then reached for his communicator when he suddenly froze when he heard a light switch,
He and Midusara turned as they saw someone...no...something walk through the mist,
Holding Godotrix's severed head in one hand,
And a weapon in the other,
It was the Blood-Fueled Machine,
V1,
Unreal then turned and growled, slamming his body down onto the ground as the three Rogues prepared to strike the machine down,
And V1 only thought of one thing:
MANKIND IS DEAD
HELL IS EMPTY
BUT THE MULTIVERSE IS FULL.
To the Rogues, this was going to be the hardest foe they ever faced,
To V1...this was just Tuesday,
And somewhere in the endless expanse of worlds,
A barrier was shattered,
A forgotten world would be discovered,
And the Battle for the Gameoverse had just begun,
And everyone was pressing Start...now.
