You meet a rude awakening from Scott's shoulder after hitting your head against it, while rolling over. You groan and rub your forehead as Scott turns to wrap his arms around you. The putrid smell coming from his armpits was enough to knock a grown man unconscious and it only got worse as his arms tightened around you, forcing your head further into the pits of death. "Scott." He grunts as the alarm clock on the nightstand begins to buzz. He reaches over, suffocating you in his musty pit and shuts it off. "Scott!"
"What." He sits up and rubs his eyes, "You almost killed me." He laughs and rolls his body on top of yours, you grab his biceps which are directly above your face, "I mean this with all the love in the world, you stink." He rolls his eyes playfully and makes his way to the bathroom. "This is the natural musk of all werewolves." He calls out after shutting the door.
"You told her all werewolves smell like that!" Liam whines, later at school. Scott nods, laughing. For the remaining hour of lunch, the group discusses their different odours in the morning. Some were a little more disgusting than others, but your nose still hadn't recovered from that morning.
Lydia walks beside you to Spanish, after the bell rings, she's unusually quiet. As you sit down at your desks, she leans over, "Sometimes I envy the relationship you have with Scott." You furrow your eyebrows, in question. "You guys are perfect for each other, soulmates even. I want a relationship like that." You nudge her arm and wink, "With Stiles, maybe?"
She laughs "Come on, He's with Malia." You shrug, "He's been in love with you for as long as I can remember, and I know he hasn't stopped. He's just more mature about it now"
"I know but it's just-" You shake your head, cutting off her sentence, "You have a great friendship right now, and you don't want to ruin it if your relationship doesn't work out?" She nods in response, " Well I have a strong feeling it will work out, I'm not telling you to try and break them up but at least tell Stiles how you feel." Her cheeks flush with colour as the teacher begins her lesson.
The last bell rings and you meet Scott in the parking lot, by his bike. He plants a warm kiss on your lips before securing your helmet on your head, he flips down the visor as you mount the bike. "Home?" You wrap your arms around his waist, resting your head on his back, "I am home." He takes your hand in his for a moment before kicking up the stand. As you cruise down the street, you think about what Lydia had said earlier, she was right. Scott was your soulmate.
