The video on the side doesn't have anything to do with Stwf, but I just think it proves that every single Naruto character is very cool for their own reasons xP

Pic of Shin and Fuisuke from the Mist Village  --->

Just so you know, Shin is pronounced as Sheen ;)

Ashley’s POV

Before I can even react, Kyoku spins around and kicks her foot out, smashing the rock easily and spraying hundreds of tiny rock fragments all over me. I give her a deadpan look as a pebble drops onto my head, to which Kyoku gives me a closed eye smile.

“Oops” she says sheepishly, twirling a long strand of blue hair around her finger, “I think I used too much chakra for that one…”

I roll my eyes and turn back to my rock wall, ignoring the sounds of other rock walls exploding as my fellow competitors attack them. Why did Kyoku even need to use her chakra? This was going to be a piece of cake!

I clench my right hand into a fist and pull it backwards, before throwing it forwards and smashing my knuckles against the thin rock wall. As my hand hits the rock, I freeze, my eyes widening.

OWWW!” I shout, wrenching my hand back as the wall crumbles to the ground, shaking it around and trying to stop myself from shouting out any curse words. I don’t think Lady Tsunade would count swearing my head off as representing the Village well….

I throw my hand into my mouth, glaring over at Kyoku as she begins laughing to herself, covering her mouth with her hand. I don’t know why she’s bothering really. I can see her laughing at me….

‘Note to self’ I think wryly, looking down at my throbbing hand, “always use chakra when punching rocks….’

“And that’s time up contestants!” Areki’s cheerful voice suddenly rings through the arena, as the destroyed rocks before us disappear back into the ground. “And it seems that everyone was able to break through the first rock wall, which is fantastic! If our Earth Style Ninja could please create some more, we’ll begin Stage Two!”

We all watch the Ninja perform the hand signs for their Earth Style: Mud Wall Jutsu, as two centimetre thick walls of earth suddenly slide up out of the ground in front each contestant.

“And Stage Two of the Strength Round will begin in three…..two….one, go!” Areki shouts excitedly, causing the crowd to begin cheering wildly. Scowling at the rock in front of me, I step back and focus a small amount of chakra into my right foot. My hand still hurts from my stupid mistake before, so I’m opting for a kick this time. And besides, I can kick harder than I can punch anyway…..I think…

Jumping forwards, I kick the rock wall with the force of someone with a serious vendetta, causing it to burst into hundreds of tiny pieces. I place my foot back down and throw my hands on my hips, gazing at my destroyed rock with triumph. Stupid rock, thinking it could defeat me

Glancing around at the other contestants, I see that white haired Mist Ninja, Fuisuke, standing with his arms crossed and his eyes closed. Before him are the sad remains of what used to be a large plank of wood, though it’s been completely obliterated. Not too far from him, I see Chirin pounding on her rock wall over and over again with frustration, her cheeks red from the effort.

“This is too haarrdd!” she complains, finally giving up and pouting, crossing her arms across her chest in a huff.

“Ha!” Ita smirks, spinning around and slamming her rock wall with a powerful kick, causing the top half of it to break apart. “That’s what she said!”

“Who?” Chirin asks naively, making Ita pause and give her a deadpan look, before she drops her head and mushroom sighs. Further past the two Waterfall Ninja, I see Shikamaru giving his rock wall a bored look, arms crossed and head tilted to the side, almost like it’s too much of an effort to hold it up. I can’t help growing an anime vein as he continues just staring at the wall, even releasing a bored, drawn out sigh.

‘What is he doing?!’ I wonder irritably, contemplating throwing a kunai at him, though weapons are banned. ‘He’s going to be one of the first ones out of the-’

I cut off my train of thought, deadpanning. That’s probably exactly what he’s going for! Then he can just relax and not bother about having to compete in anything else. That lazy, unmotivated little punk….

Third Person’s POV

And that’s the end of Stage Two!” the energetic announcer cries, throwing a hand in the air and giving the camera pointed at him a closed eye smile. “Looks like we’ve got a few contestants who weren’t able to break their walls this time…

“Or just couldn’t be bothered” Naruto mutters, crossing his arms and squinting his eyes up at the billboard in the top right corner. That one was focused on Shikamaru, who was currently in the middle of yawning and rubbing the back of his neck. He didn’t seem all too concerned that he was now out of the competition.

“Huh, and Granny Tsunade thought he’d be a great person to represent the Leaf Village….” Naruto adds under his breath, pouting childishly. It wasn’t fair! He was just as talented as Shikamaru, if not more, and he definitely would have actually tried! Naruto understood Tsunade’s reason for not letting him go, but she’d given into Ashley, so why could Tsunade make an exception for him as well?

“Oh, get over it Naruto” Sakura sighs irritably, smacking Naruto upside the head and placing her hands on her hips. “Just for once in your life, try to at least pretend that you respect Lady Tsunade’s choice.”

Chirin Yugasawa, Yumi Kigiri and Shikamaru Nara” Areki addresses, catching the attentions of the Waterfall, Snow and Leaf Ninja, “Seeing as you were not able to break your rock walls, you are now out for the remainder of the competition. Please make your way to the sidelines so we can continue on with Round Two!”

“Hahahaha!” Ino laughs obnoxiously, turning to Choji and grabbing his arm. “I knew it! I just knew Shikamaru would wuss out! Looks like I know your best friend better than you Choji, now pay up!”

Choji sweat drops as he digs around in his pocket, before handing a jubilant Ino some money. They’d betted on whether Shikamaru would fail at a Round just to get out of the competition or not, with the blonde confidently proclaiming that he wouldn’t make it passed Round Three. Choji of course had betted in favour of his best friend, though in hindsight, he realises how foolish that was. This wasn’t a life or death situation, so it was pretty inevitable that Shikamaru wouldn’t really give it his all.

“No” Choji corrects Ino half heartedly, “I just had more faith in him than you.”

Ino shrugs, fanning herself with the money she’d just won from Choji, teal eyes flashing deviously.

“So?” she challenges. “Having faith just lost you a whole bunch of money! It’s better to be realistic Choji.”

The Akimichi pouts for a moment, before remembering that he’d packed an extra packet of Barbeque chips in his weapons pouch. Suddenly feeling a whole lot better, Choji fishes the packet out and eagerly tears into it, his money woes forgotten.

Ha!” Kiba barks, jabbing a hand at the lower middle screen. “Look how pissed Angel looks at Shikamaru! He’s gonna get his ass handed to him later!”

Everyone glances down at the screen Kiba’s pointing at, all sweat dropping when they see the killer glare Ashley is sending the lazy Nara as he saunters over to the side lines, hands in his pockets and looking like he doesn’t have a care in the world.

Good” Naruto sniffs, still pouting. “I hope she punches Shikamaru hard. He gets the opportunity to go there, and then just gives up! I like the guy and all, but he should’ve at least tried….”

“I assume Ashley-sama doesn’t approve of laziness?” Sai questions softly, earning a raised eyebrow from Kiba.

Sama?” he repeats quizzically, looking to a sighing Sakura for an answer. She shakes her head at Sai and turns to Kiba.

“He always calls her that for some reason” she explains wryly, sweat dropping when Sai gives her a closed eye smile. “She’s told him not to call her that, but he still does anyway….”

“Right….” Kiba says slowly, before folding his hands behind his head and smirking up at the six electronic billboards mounted at the top of the Hokage’s Tower. “Anyway, yeah, Angel can’t stand laziness, so that Nara’s gonna get it later!”

Okay!” Areki announces, as everyone turns back to face the screens. “Now that our contestants are ready, it’s time for Stage Three to begin!”

By Stage Twenty, more than half of the contestants have been dropped from the Round, with a few of them nursing swollen hands and feet. Ashley whirls around and, focusing chakra down into her foot, crushes her rock wall with a powerful kick.

Stepping back, Ashley releases a sigh, swiftly growing bored with the whole Strength Round. It had been fun at first, but now it was just growing old, and Ashley was beginning to see why Shikamaru had decided to drop out. Though she wasn’t one for giving up, Ashley wasn’t nearly as mad at him anymore. Maybe he’d been smart to drop out so early?

Looking around her, Ashley sees that both Neji and Kakashi are still in the Round, though Kyoku had been disqualified about three Stages ago. She was unable to break the seventeen centimetre thick wall, though Ashley had the feeling that she too had grown bored with the Round and had done what Shikamaru did, only she didn’t make her intentions quite so obvious.

Though Ashley sincerely wishes she could do the same and just pretend she’s not strong enough to break the wall, it goes against everything in her to portray herself in such a way. Playing down her strength was never something Ashley did, and she didn’t want her competitors, or anyone really, to get it in their heads that she was weak.

Fuisuke also remains in the Round Ashley notices; the young man making the whole thing looks effortlessly easy. Ashley briefly wonders if his hand even hurt yet, seeing as he’d used it to destroy every rock wall. To her direct left, Okita is still in the Round as well, though the girl looks as if she’s beginning to struggle. She had a sword strapped to her back, so Ashley didn’t think she was as adept at hand to hand combat as she no doubt was in Swordsmanship.

As Ashley breaks her twenty first rock wall, she can’t help but noticing Tozoku sitting on the ground on the side lines, having been disqualified in Stage Ten. It was just too bad that she wasn’t the fourth contestant to be disqualified, or she would have been out for the rest of the competition. No, the fourth contestant out had been some Stone Ninja, though Ashley was a bit disappointed that it hadn’t been Nobu. Speaking of the Stone Ninja, she was still apart of the Strength Round, along with Zee, Kana the Sand Ninja, another Snow Ninja and two of the masked Mist Village Ninja.

“Alright contestants” Areki speaks up, as bright and energetic as ever, “Since you all seem to be doing so well, we’re going to make things a little more interesting.”

“Uh oh…” Ashley mutters, not sure it’s going to be anything good.

“Instead of increasing the width of our rock walls by one centimetre for each Stage” Areki explains, eyes sparkling, “We’re going to increase them by five centimetres! Good luck, and let the Twenty Second Stage begin!”

Uurgghhhh……” Ashley sighs, blowing her fringe from her eye and giving the new rock wall an exasperated look. She was really tired of this now. As Ashley is about to kick down her wall, she catches sight of the blonde girl she’d fought in the Final Rounds of the Chunin Exams, Peikirin.

The girl, sitting cross legged besides her fellow Grass Ninja, Tozoku, glares at Ashley from under hooded eyes. Her face holds a slack look, her head slightly dipped down, which is causing a strange shadow to fall over the girl’s face. Ashley’s brows furrow as the olive skinned girl’s eyes seem to narrow slightly, a nasty look behind them.

Looking away to knock down her rock wall, Ashley shakes her head. Why was Peikirin glaring at her like that? She couldn’t possibly still be mad about what happened three years ago……Could she?

Ashley’s POV

Forty minutes later, and I find myself on the sidelines, standing next to Neji and watching as Kakashi Sensei and Fuisuke Kakonura compete to see who’ll win the Round. I think by now, we’re up to Stage Fifty……something…..Or maybe it was Sixty something? I don’t even know anymore, and I can’t say I really care either. I just want this stupid Round to be over, although I’d like it if Kakashi Sensei would beat this Mist Ninja’s punk ass.

C’mon Kakashi Sensei!” I shout encouragingly, throwing a fist in the air. “Beat that loser down! Show him that age doesn’t mean anything when it comes to smashing rocks!”

I see Kakashi sweat drop at my encouragement, before he delivers, by punching and absolutely obliterating the one metre and however many centimetres thick rock.

Yeaahhh!” I cheer, throwing both hands in the air this time. “Go Sensei!”

I suddenly feel a hand cover my mouth, stopping me from calling anything else out.

“I think you’re distracting him” someone breathes lowly in my ear, making me turn around. I turn around, coming face to face with an amused looking Shikamaru. I blink at his sudden closeness, before scowling and shoving his hand away. When had he even gotten behind me anyway?

“Don’t manhandle me Shikamaru” I command, crossing my arms and turning my head. “I’m not a child.”

The Nara places his hands in his pockets and looks down at me, one eyebrow raised and a smirk tugging at his lips. I sigh, briefly wishing I wasn’t so much shorter than him. My point would be a lot more valid if he didn’t have to look down at me…

“No?” he questions teasingly. “The way you were screaming, I kind of mistook you for one.”

“Keep going Shikamaru” I say warningly, narrowing my eyes at the Nara. “You’re digging your own grave here….”

Shikamaru hoods his eyes and grins at me, holding his hands out, almost as if he was offering me a hug.

“Come at me then…” he encourages, making me growl. Alright then, if he was going to poke the Bull with a stick, he was going to get the horns…..Just as I leap at Shikamaru, a hand suddenly grabs onto the back of my shirt, holding me up in the air just in front of a now laughing Shikamaru. I glare back over my shoulder, only to be met with the unimpressed face of my favourite Sensei.

“No beating up your teammates” he scolds me, making me sigh and hang my head.

“You’re such a killjoy sometimes Kakashi Sensei…” I mutter, before suddenly pausing. My head snaps up, as I turn my head and give Kakashi an accusing, wide eyed glare. “Kakashi Sensei?! What are you doing over here?! You’re supposed to be competing over there!”

“Oops” he says brightly, giving me a pleasant closed eye smile. “Looks like I lost…. Probably because I’m so old” he feels the need to add, sending me a deadpan look. I narrow my eyes at my Sensei, crossing my arms.

“You didn’t lose” I say decisively. “You got bored and threw the Round.”

Kakashi merely shrugs and gives me another closed eye smile, before dropping me on the ground. Honestly, he’s a cool Sensei and all, but sometimes he’s just such a douche….

The winner of the Round, Fuisuke, places his hands in his pockets and strolls back over to his silent team, ignoring the roaring of the crowd as they cheer for him. The guy in the purple jacket, Shin I think, places a hand on Fuisuke’s shoulder, nodding his head once in recognition of his teammate’s success.

‘They’re obviously a very close team’ I think sarcastically, rolling my eyes. ‘Too cool to even say congratulations….’

“Alright competitors!” Areki laughs, winking at the camera. “We’re going to move right along to Round Three of the Tournament! Round Three is going to be the Speed Round. Only two members from each team will be competing for this Round, so pick your two fastest team members!”

Kakashi immediately turns around, locking his eyes on Kyoku.

“You’re definitely the fastest on this team Kyoku” he states, making the pretty woman blink her ocean coloured eyes. “I think you and Ashley would be our fastest members.”

Me?” I question, eyes widening slightly as Kakashi turns to me and nods. “But what about you Sensei?”

“There’s very little doubt in my mind that if it really came down to it” Kakashi says seriously, “You’d be faster than me. Kyoku’s definitely faster than me though. I wouldn’t be surprised if she was the fastest Ninja in the Leaf Village.”

“Oh Kakashi” Kyoku laughs modestly, placing a hand on his arm. “Too much flattery will make a girl’s head big.”

“It’s not flattery” Kakashi says flatly, before sweat dropping and giving Kyoku an awkward smile. “I mean, it’s not just flattery. It’s also the truth.”

“Smooth” Neji mutters, raising an eyebrow at Kakashi’s back and making me giggle. He could be funny when he wasn’t too busy being an arrogant prick.

“If our chosen contestants could please step forwards” Areki begins, waving his microphone around, “I’ll be able to explain how this is going to work!”

“Whatever it is, good luck guys” Shikamaru says, crossing his arms and leaning his back against the wall. Kyoku and I exchange a look, before heading towards the middle of the stadium. I see Fuisuke and the red eyed girl from the Mist Village, Tozoku and Peikirin, Zee and a similar looking girl from the Snow Village, Ita and Irazen, two Rain Ninja, Nobu, another Stone Ninja and two Sand Ninja whose names I didn’t bother remembering, splitting away from their teams and heading to the centre of the stadium as well. I can’t help raising an eyebrow at Tozoku, who has a happy closed eye smile on her face, and Peikirin, looking like she’s about to tear someone’s head off.

Were those two really the best the Grass Village had to offer? Maybe their other three teammates were hoping they’d accidentally get killed during one of the Rounds….

“Alright, it seems that every team has chosen their duo for the Speed Round” Areki announces happily. “As you may or may not have guessed contestants, you will be competing in a race!”

I can’t help sweat dropping at that. A race hadn’t even crossed my mind to be honest….But I can at least pretend I knew Areki was going to say that.

“The race will be from the main entry gates of the Grass Village, back to the middle of the stadium” Areki explains eagerly, eyes growing wider and wider. “However, seeing as there will no doubt be civilians in the streets, you must be careful. We will have Jonin positioned at different points across the route. If they catch you damaging anyone’s property or injuring anyone, you will immediately be disqualified. As a result of the race running through a public area, any kind of Jutsu or weapon usage is absolutely forbidden. You may only use Jutsu that will affect yourself, for example, a Jutsu that will increase your chakra and up your speed.”

“Doesn’t sound so hard” I sneer, placing my hands on my hips as Kyoku nods in agreement and gives me a closed eye smile.

“You’re right” she agrees softly, opening her eyes and subtly glancing over at the ever silent Mist Ninja, before they flick over to Nobu and her partner. The tall Stone Ninja smirks nastily at me, dragging a finger across her throat and making me raise an eyebrow. Who does she think she’s trying to intimidate by doing that? It’ll take a lot more than a silent threat to scare me.

“Just watch out for…..certain others” Kyoku advises quietly, her attention going back to Areki. “You never know if the others will disregard the rules…”

“If they do” I begin confidently, “Then I’ll just have to disregard a few rules myself.”

“Before you exit the stadium contestants” Areki adds slyly, “one more thing I must add. As with the previous Rounds, the last four contestants to the stadium will be disqualified for good. And you are competing against the competitor from your Village as well, so even if they finish the race, that does not mean that you are safe. Good luck, and if you happen to see a camera, don’t forget to smile!”

We stand in a line at the entrance of the Grass Village, all waiting to see a flare shot from the stadium, which will signal the beginning of the race. Though the stadium is too far away from here to see, it’ll be easy to see the flare once it gets high into the sky. Glancing to my left, to have a look at the other contestants, I spot Peikirin leaning forwards, her narrowed eyes locked on my face. Though feeling a little creeped out, I bare my teeth in a smirk at the girl. To my surprise, she growls at me, her left eye twitching weirdly. What’s going on with that girl? That doesn’t look normal….

“You Leaf Ninja are going down!” Nobu proclaims, stepping out of line and throwing one hand on her hip, while jabbing the other at me. “We’re gonna crush you guys!”

The two Mist Ninja look between us silently, though Fuisuke seems rather amused. It’s sort of hard to tell, considering half his face is covered by his stupid mask thing.

Kyoku merely smiles to herself, hooding her eyes and keeping them focused on the area where the flare should be appearing any moment now.

“There will be no crushing going on!” a Grass Village Jonin shouts down from the roof he’s perched on, making sure no one starts early. “If you attempt to crush anyone, you will be disqualified little girl!”

“Little?” Nobu asks, before turning to the ANBU and glaring at him. “Little?! Do these look little to you?!”

That said, Nobu pushes out her chest and points to it, her face red with rage. It seems she didn’t like being mistaken for a little girl….The Jonin’s face also turns a light shade of red, glancing around awkwardly, obviously wanting to look anywhere but at Nobu.

“You must be gay then” Nobu eventually mutters, stepping back into line and crossing her arms when she realises that the man isn’t going to answer or even look at her.

“No discipline….” one of the Rain Ninja, a handsome male with long, black hair sighs. His redheaded teammate, a person that could very well be of either gender, elbows him in the side and shakes their head.

“Don’t push anyone’s buttons Tanza” the redhead advises softly, sounding a bit effeminate. Tanza shrugs a shoulder, eyeing his competitors through sharp, golden eyes.

“As long as no one starts anything with me” he argues pointedly, “I won’t need to push any buttons.”

I glance at the two swords strapped across his back in a cross shape, before they drop to the short blades resting against both of the redhead’s hips. They must all be proficient with blades then. If I remember correctly, Okita had a large sword strapped to her back as well….

Thanks to my ability to sense vibrations through the earth and even the air, I suddenly whirl around. I bend my knees slightly, smirking when I see Kyoku copy me from the corner of my eyes. I think she’s copying me because she knows I can sense it…

As soon as the flare becomes visible in the air, shooting up towards the clouds, Kyoku and I launch ourselves away from the starting line, with the two Mist Ninja right behind us. Kyoku suddenly crouches down, before leaping high up onto the roof of a nearby building, obviously wanting to avoid the civilians here on the ground.

Suddenly, the Mist Ninja girl catches up to me, her long, midnight blue ponytail streaming out behind her. She glances at me from the corner of her eyes, before she begins performing hand signs. Not sure what she’s up to, I growl and quickly flip off to the left, landing on the roof top of a house.

The girl looks at me again, before her chakra flow suddenly increases, powering up her muscles and allowing her to speed off and disappear from my view.

“Dammit…” I growl, before my eyes suddenly widen, and I barrel roll to the side. As I tumble down the side of the building, something crashes down where I had just been standing. As I flip around and land on my feet, I scowl up at the roof and see Tozoku grinning nastily down at me. My eyes widen however, when I see that she’s riding on top of that freaky Spider thing.

“Oh, so sorry Ashley” Tozoku giggles, narrowing her eyes at me. “We didn’t even see you there.”

“What are you doing?” I snap, clenching my hands into fists, and ignoring the other contestants as they zoom past us. “You can’t use Jutsu to attack others!”

“Oh but I’m not” Tozoku smirks. “My Spider isn’t attacking anyone, he’s just helping me get to the finish quicker.”

“You were aiming for me just then” I growl lowly, seriously considering breaking the rules just so I can punch her stupid, grinning face in.

“Not everything is about you Ashley” the red head informs me rudely, before her Spider suddenly turns around and looks right at me, making me freeze. I see it lower itself down sightly, getting ready to jump. Deciding to forget about Tozoku and her terrifyingly creepy Spider, I turn on my heel and run towards the arena, leaving them in my dust.

Third Person’s POV

“Hey!” Ino barks, clenching one hand into a fist and jabbing her other hand at the screen. “That bitch is going after Ashley again!”

What?!” Naruto shouts incredulously, seeing Ashley on the giant screen, her face contorted into a scowl and her eyes focused on someone up above her. “Why’s she allowed to use that thing again?!”

“Do not worry about her Ashley!” Lee calls punching his fists into the air. “Forget her, the others are passing you!”

The Leaf Ninja watch as Zee and Fuisuke dash past her, the two male neck and neck. Fuisuke’s eyes flick down to the ten year old, narrowing them slightly. He begins performing a set of swift hand signs, before he suddenly overtakes the charcoal haired boy. Zee, seemingly unperturbed by Fuisuke’s sudden increase in speed, changes direction, veering off to the right.

On one of the other screens, Kyoku races across the rooftops, easily flipping over the large gaps between some of them. She glances back over her shoulder, where she’d left Ashley behind, only for Zee to come into view behind her. Kyoku’s eyes widen slightly, before she turns back around and focuses on reaching the arena first. She had no idea where Zee had come from, considering he was one of the last to leave the starting line. He was obviously very skilled for such a young kid.

Back on the top left screen, Ashley’s friends watch as she suddenly whirls around, seeming to have had enough of Tozoku, when their eyes widen.

Move it Angel!” Kiba shouts, as Akamaru whimpers beside him, not wanting to watch the giant Spider leap at Ashley’s back, but unable to look away.

Sakura and Naruto watch with wide, worried eyes, only for Ashley to whirl around just as the Spider is about to tackle her. Her eyes burn furiously, as she finishes up a sequence of familiar hand signs. They see Ashley’s lips form the words of her Jutsu, before she is suddenly enveloped in a cloud of white smoke.

Holding their breaths, the Leaf Ninja almost jump with fright, as a huge brown and cream Wolf leaps through the smoke.

Kai!” Sakura cheers as she recognises the large animal, his teeth bared and his clawed paws aiming for a surprised Tozoku and her spider.

Kai roars madly as he tackles the Spider to the ground, his jaws snapping closed around one of its legs. His massive weight knocks the Spider over, the Arachnid screeching as it finds it is pinned down.

“How dare you attack Milady!” Kai growls furiously, red eyes flashing. “I’ll show you what happens to scum like you!”

Tozoku screams in fright and jumps down from her Spider, leaving it behind as she throws her arms in the air and dashes off in a different direction, yelling something about Ashley ‘cheating’.

As Kai wrenches his head back, powerfully tearing a leg from the screeching Spider, it suddenly disappears in a puff of smoke. He grunts unhappily, the leg in his mouth also disappearing, before turning to Ashley. He stalks over to her, bumping her shoulder with his head.

“Are you alright Milady?” he asks roughly, to which Ashley reaches up and strokes his head, a look of thoughtfulness on her face.

“I’m fine” she replies slowly. “Thanks for your help Kai. Since she can get away with Summons, I figured I could as well.”

“Alright” Kai replies, ears pricking up. “Seeing as this seems to be a race of some sort, do you need a ride to your destination?”

Kai narrows his eyes as a devious smirk spreads across Ashley’s face, before he grins darkly. He liked that look.

“No thanks Kai” Ashley chuckles, placing her hands together. “I’ve got a better idea.”

“Very well” Kai rumbles, shaking his head and messing up his fur. “Tell me how this turns out later on.”

That said, Kai disappears in a puff of smoke, as Ashley turns her head towards a camera man trying to hide behind a bush.

“This one’s for you Mutt” Ashley mutters under her breath, before performing a set of hand signs.

Ashley’s friends cheer, as Kai tears into the giant Spider, causing Tozoku to jump down and abandon her Summon. As the Spider disappears, Kai turns to Ashley, who seems to be staring down at the ground.

“Geez” Naruto scoffs, shaking his head in disgust. “She just ran and left her Summon there to get attacked. What kind of person is that girl?”

Sakura nods in agreement. “Ashley would never leave one of her Wolves behind.”

“I’d never leave one of my Summons behind either” Naruto adds, thinking of the annoying Toads he could summon, that he, admittedly, had grown quite fond of.

As everyone begins discussing how wrong it is for a Ninja to leave their Summoned creatures behind during a fight, Kiba narrows his eyes at the screen. He watches as Ashley says something to Kai, smirking and placing her hands together when he disappears in a puff of smoke.

“Those hand signs…..” Kiba mutters, catching Naruto’s attention. The blonde gives Kiba a questioning look, before raising an eyebrow and glancing up at his teammate on the screen.

“Eh?” Naruto asks, puzzled by the look on Kiba’s face. “What’s the matter Kiba?”

“Angel….” he says slowly, before a grin suddenly lights up his face and he laughs. “She’s using the Ninja Art of Beast Mimicry: All Fours Jutsu! She’s planning on making a mad dash for the finish!”

“Huh?” Sakura asks, blinking a few times. “Isn’t that one of your Jutsu Kiba?”

“Yeah” the Inuzuka confirms, smirking determinedly. “Man, she’s gonna be fast with that Jutsu activated.”

Kiba begins laughing again, as Ashley turns to the camera and winks, before cheekily blowing it a kiss. Smirking to herself, Ashley then whirls around and flashes out of view, her movements too fast to be caught on camera.

“Ruff!” Akamaru barks up at Kiba, tongue lolling and tail wagging. Kiba places a hand on his head and nods.

“Yeah, I think that was just for me buddy” he agrees, before sweat dropping as Naruto throws his fist out, almost clocking Kiba in the face.

Yeah Ashley-chan!” the blonde cheers loudly. “Kick their butts!”
