Sharp walked into the base like he always did
I turned around immediately
"Get out of my base!"
Sharp stopped.
"...what"
"You heard me."
"Why?"
"Because you don't live here"
Sharp looked around the room like he was checking something
"My bed is here"
"That was a mistake"
"You put it there"
"I didn't say you could keep it there"
"You didn't say I couldn't"
"That's not how that works"
I pointed at the door
"Did you ever see someone live in their enemy's base?"
Sharp tilted his head slightly
"...not usually"
"Exactly."
"Well maybe your base is nicer than theirs"
"That's not the point"
"Feels like the point to me"
I didn't answer
Instead I swung at him
Sharp barely dodged
"Whoa-"
He stepped back and pulled out his sword
"I don't think you want this fight"
"Too late"
We started fighting.
Sharp wasn't taking much damage, but I did.
He started comboing me
Hard.
He cornered me with he's hits
He wasn't letting me breathe
He backed up slightly
"Yeah you really don't want this fight"
I swung again
Missed.
"Oh my god I'm trash"
I didn't mean to say that out loud.
Sharp paused for half a second
"Then stop sweep hitting"
"...what"
"You're literally sweep hitting every swing"
"Press your damn sprint key if you want it to stop sweeping"
I stared at him mid fight
"You're giving me tips?"
"Yes."
"We're literally fighting"
"Then fight better"
He was still cooking me so i started tunnelling.
I heard Sharp laugh
"Yeah, ok."
I kept digging
"Running now?"
I didn't answer
"I'm not gonna kill you"
I stopped for a second underground
"What"
"I told you"
He sounded almost amused
"You don't want this fight"
I climbed back up a moment later
Sharp was still standing in the base like nothing happened
I stared at him
I pointed at the door again
"Just get out"
Sharp went quiet
Then he walked over and mined his bed
"Fine."
He grabbed the rest of his stuff
"I'll move out"
"Good."
Sharp walked toward the exit
Then he stopped at the doorway
"You're weird you know that"
"How?..."
"You keep saying we're enemies"
"because we are?..."
Sharp shrugged
"Doesn't feel like it"
Then he walked out...
The quietness after that was almost... weird?
