Some days are really good.
There are a million reasons to smile;
like hearing your baby brother say your name,
or seeing a day's end painted ever so gently across the sky,
spending the day at a theme park with friends,
even an unexpected hello.
But some says aren't.
Some days I long to be in complete solitude.
Some days I visualize any and every potentially harmful object.
Some days I read to escape my reality.
Some days I can't bear the skin in the mirror.
Some days are not okay.
That doesn't mean I'm broken.
It just means I'm human.
