" Ma I'm on my way out! " I shouted out to her, closing the door behind me. For some reason I was looking forward to going to school today, because I was able to see Avery. Even though I could just go over to her house and see her, I low-key missed being a badass.
I unlocked my Lamborghini and got in starting the car up. My phone started to ring and I looked to see it was Avery calling.
" Wassup Babygirl " I said hooking my phone up to the Bluetooth in my car
" Uhh don't call me that, I already hear way too much of that from my dad" she says
" haha I'm not, but what you need? I'm on my way to school " I said pulling out the driveway
" Um could you like take me to school today? Kiron still isn't talking to me. " she says
" Of course. I'm on my way now " I said hanging up the call

" Thanks Chris my parents are annoyed with me again and Kirons acting like a little boy " Avery says getting in the car.
" No problem, but why is Kiron mad. What you do this time? " I laugh driving off as soon as she closed the door
" I didn't do anything. I think he's just mad that I didn't leave with him, but instead with you after we came from the movies " she says shrugging her shoulders
" Wow that's crazy. It's like he's jealous or something "
" I wouldn't say jealous. It's not like we're together " she says referring to us
" Right " I say then remain quiet afterwards. I kinda felt hurt to what she just said even though it was true

" You wanna ditch school today? I don't feel like being here " Avery asks me
" When do you ever feel like being here? Now get out " I say to her as we get out the car
" Wow any other time you would " I could hear her mumble under her breath as we walk towards the building
Soon as we walked in practically all eyes were on us. People started whispering and giving us dirty looks. I know I ain't do shit so they must be staring at Avery
As we walked down the halls heading to our Math Class Jasmine walks up to us and pulls me to the side
" Uh Chris I know your not still hanging with Avery after what happened? " She says
" What are you talking about? "
" Oh you haven't heard? She's been sleeping around with random people " She says making an evil smile
" I don't have time for your bullshit Jasmine " I said walking away
I walk into class receiving more dirty looks. Avery was already at her desk, so I went to mine. As soon as I sat down Avery walks over to me.
" Chris what did your girlfriend want? " She playfully asked
" None of your business! " I snap
" Gosh never mind " she says walking back to her desk.
" I see you didn't want to catch anything " Jasmine says talking a seat next to me
" Not now Jasmine! " I get up and walk out of class. The teacher doesn't even bother to stop me. I went to the auditorium.
When I got there it was quite and no one there to bother me. I took a seat and started thinking to myself. Of course I don't believe what Jasmine said, but by the way everyone was looking at us...it could be true.

AVERY
" Well I'm sure Avery knows where he's going " The teacher laughs causing the whole class to join her
" I don't get the joke. I wanna fucking laugh too " I say in all seriousness
" Nothing everyone back to doing whatever. I'll be outside the classroom taking an important call " She says then walks out the classroom closing the door behind her.
The class starts talking all loud again while I pull out my phone to text Chris
" Where are you? " I texted then placed my phone down waiting for a text back
" Hey, Avery right? " This guy says getting super close to me
" Yea, who you? " I ask looking away from my phone
" Come on Avery. We've had classes together since sophomore year " He says
" So nigga that was 10th grade. 2 years ago " I say looking back at my phone
" Wow well I heard what you've been doing later and I was wondering if I could get down? " I looked at him like he was crazy
" What they hell are you talking about? " I ask as I get a text back from Chris
" Never mind I don't care anymore. You can leave " I say as he smacks his teeth walking away
When I read over the text he sent I was ready to throw my phone. He texted " why " like who does that. I don't even know what's his problem, but he needs to get over it

I skipped lunch cause I didn't eat the food anyway and went straight to Mr. Dons office since Chris wasn't even in the auditorium when I checked
When I got there he was just coming out his office
" Oh hey Avery I'm surprised You haven't been in my office all day. You just missed Chris " he says locking his door
" Really!! Where did he go?" I ask
" I don't know, but I'm heading out see you tomorrow " he says walking away
" Man I'm done looking. My legs not working anymore " I say sitting down on the cold floor
" Avery get up you look ridiculous " A familiar voice says from behind me. I turn around to see Chris
" Chris where the hell have you been? I've been looking for you all day " I said getting up off the floor
" No one told you to do that" he says very calmly
" Dude what's wrong with? You've been acting different every since this morning " I say pushing his shoulder
He stops and thinks about what he's gonna say but instead turns around to leave
" Where are you going now?" I ask getting annoyed. He walks out the double doors of the school then walks out. I catch up to him following him to his car
" So now you wanna ditch school " I say stopping in front of his car
" Avery just shut up and get in " he says getting in the car
I get in the car shutting the door behind me. He starts the car up.
" Chris why do you keep being rude to me? I didn't do anything "
" Avery what did I say! " he yells pulling out of the parking lot
" No! Fuck that Chris, I want answers! I'm not your little puppet. I'm not about to do what you want me to do! "
" Okay ma bad damn just be quiet for a second " he laughs.
I don't know about him, but I was dead serious

CHRIS
I drove us to a fast food restaurant cause I was hungry as hell.
" Really Chris McDonald's " Avery says looking over at me
" What I'm hungry " I laugh parking the car then getting out. We walk inside and I go and order my food.
" You want anything? " I ask Avery
" No I'll just eat some of yours " she says going to sit somewhere
" HA! You thought I was sharing "

As I'm eating I start thinking about if I should tell Avery what Jasmine said. I mean I would want her to tell me something if it was about me, so I guess I'll tell her cause this has been on my mind all day
" Avery "
" Yea? " She says looking up from her phone. I panic
" Uh...I forgot I brought you a small fry " I say handing them to her
" Nah it's okay I already ate all of yours " she says as I look down to see my fries were missing
" See man this is why Im never being nice again " I say stuffing the fries in my mouth
" Yea yea, but could you tell me now why you were so upset this morning, Please."
" Not here, come on " I get up grabbing her hand and head to my car

" Chris we've been driving in circles for about 25 minutes. Where are we gonna go? " Avery asked
" I don't know right now, I just don't want to go back to school " I say stopping at an red light
" True. Let's go to your house then " she suggested
" Nah my mom's there. How bout your house? " I ask as the light changes
" I guess. My parents don't get there until 5 " she says
" Well I guess your house it is "

It took us about 20 minutes to get to her house.
" Ugh home sweet home " Avery sarcastically says getting out the car. We walk up to the door as she unlocks it. We go upstairs to her room while I jump on her bed dramatically
" Aye turn the game on " I say talking my shoes off. Every time I come over Avery's house we tend to play Black ops on her PS3. It's an old game but this all she has. And plus it's still fun.
" No, not until you tell me why you were so upset earlier " she says taking a seat on the bed next me
" Dang you still wanna know that? I was hoping you would have forgotten " I say sitting up
" Well I didn't, now tell me " she demanded
" Okay promise you won't get mad at me after I tell you this? "
" I promise now hurry up and tell me! " she somewhat yells
" Okay, so like Jasmine told me that you were sleeping around with random people, that's why everyone's been giving you dirty looks "
" What the fuck Chris!!! Why didn't you tell me this earlier? " she shouts
" Hey you said you wouldn't get mad and I wanted to but I-I couldn't " I stutter.
" I'm not mad this is my happy voice, but Why couldn't you? You don't believe her right?" she asks. I knew she would. I stay quiet
" Chris are you serious!? This is Jasmine we're talking about. She absolutely came up with the rumor " she stands up
" I mean I didn't believe her at first, but then when I saw the way people were looking at you and then at me I thought it had to be true "
" So that's what that guy was talking about earlier "
" Wait, hold up. What guy? " I ask standing up
" Chill I don't even know his name. He clams we had the same classes together since 10th grade " she says
" That was like 2 years ago though "
" I know, but Ugh Chris your so stupid to think that! How in the world have I been sleeping with people if I'm still a- " she pauses
" Never mind " she says sitting back down
" Avery just say it. Your a virgin "
" I don't need to say it if you already know the answer! " she snaps
" Ma bad, but it's okay to be one. At least I know now that the rumor is a lie " I say grabbing her hand
" Miss me with the sweet talk " she says moving her hand back
" I guess I've should had known that wouldn't work with you, but seriously your not alone "
" Your one too? " she asks
" No, I've done it once, but not with the right person " I admit
" Oh, Well..I think you should be my first " she softly says
" Why me?! I mean, don't you want to wait till that special person comes in your life? "
" Yea, but I think I already found that special person " she says looking me dead in the eyes
