Chapter 11: Enjoy E3

And before Delirious could react, Evan kissed him ever so lightly, as if placing too much force would break him.

Chapter 11: Enjoy E3
"So that was Markiplier and Jacksepticeye confirming that they will be joining YouTube Gaming and their plans for it. Thank you so much for joining us Mark and Sean" the host said as the two smiled in the camera and waved goodbye
"We'll be taking a short break here, and when we come back, we'll be talking to the most famous gaming group in YouTube. The group whose videos are commonly composed of funny moments... The Banana Bus Crew! As some would like to call them at least. We'll have VanossGaming, Moo Snuckel, Daithi De Nogla, MiniLadd, The Gaming Terroriser, Cartoonz, Lui Calibre and Silent Droid in the set, so stay tuned!" the host continued as the director yelled "cut!"
"Fuck! Where the hell are they?" Nogla grumbled as he was texting Evan
"Relax, man. Delirious said they're on their way" Cartoonz said as he got off the phone with Delirious
"We'll be on in five minutes, they better hurry or else Evan will have to get in the set once we've already started" Mini said
"That's what you're worried of?" Brian asked as he continued "I'm more fucking curious on what Delirious fucking looks like and if he's going to join us in the set"
"I'm more curious on what those two talked about..." Brock mumbled more to himself than anyone else
"So what did Delirious look like?" Lui asked Nogla
"These three already fucking saw him" Nogla chuckled as he gestured towards Brock, Mini and Brian
"Yeah, for like a split fucking second" Mini grumbled, making Nogla laugh even more
"Did he have a glow like Evan said?" Droid asked
"Not really. He seemed normal. He fit his voice" Nogla said as the three nodded
"So what did you guys talk about once you found him?" Mini asked
"It was more like he found us, actually" Cartoonz said
"Yeah, and we didn't really get to talk that much. After he found us, we went to Taco Bell and I was just asking him on how E3's been and he did the same for me. Then you guys showed up" Nogla explained
"I wish he comes here with Evan" Brian said
"I doubt he will though. He'll probably hang back so no one suspects a thing" Lui said
"Speaking of..." Droid said as they all looked to see Evan going towards them
"Where's Delirious?" Cartoonz asked as they noticed that Evan was alone
"He said that people would suspect that he's H2ODelirious if he went here with me. So he's just roaming" Evan said
"Won't he watch us?" Mini asked
"There's a bunch of screens scattered in the area. And they're all showing the interview, so he said that he'd just watch from there" Evan said as one of the stage managers went towards them
"Are you all ready?" he asked as the crew nodded their heads
"Well the couch can only accommodate about three or four people, so the rest of you can hang back here, but the host might call you over" the stage manager said as the guys looked among themselves
"Well obviously Evan has to be there" Cartoonz said
"So who wants to join him?" Droid asked
"I'll go" Lui grinned
"Mini and Nogla, you two should go" Brock said
"What about you guys?" Mini asked Brock, Cartoonz, Droid and Brian
"We can hang back here" Brock said
"Yeah, if they want to ask us questions then they could just ask us from over here" Cartoonz chuckled
"Yeah, go on, have some fun while you're out there" Brian grinned at Mini as he sighed
"Alright, if you say so" Mini mumbled as the four of them sat by the couch. Evan being the nearest to the host, then Mini then Lui then Nogla
"Hey there Banana Bus Crew, I'm Dayana, the host for YouTube Gaming" Dayana said as the guys shook her hand
"We're live in 5, 4, 3, 2, ---!!" the director yelled as the cameras started rolling
"Welcome back ladies and gentlemen to YouTube Gaming. We're here with VanossGaming, Mini Ladd, Lui Calibre, Daithi De Nogla from the Banana Bus Crew. We also have Moo Snuckel, The Gaming Terroriser, Cartoonz and Silent Droid over there." Dayana said as she gestured over to the three as they waved towards the camera. Evan raised an eyebrow as he noticed that Cartoonz wasn't in the backstage, but quickly shrugged it off
"So, Banana Bus Crew, how do you feel about YouTube adding in a new feature called YouTube Gaming?" Dayana asked
"I think it's pretty cool, especially for live streamers and YouTubers like me who like to post long play throughs" Lui said
"It's not really much of our group's style since we usually do funny moments. And those are a bit harder to get. We usually record for hours to get enough footage for one video" Evan added
"Yeah, we'll probably be live streaming every once in a while, but probably not funny moments, but instead games like CS:GO and Zombies" Mini said
"Or FNAF 4's DLC" Nogla jokingly added as the other three guys chuckled
"Right, your group is known to not be a fan of the FNAF series" Dayana said as the guys nodded their heads
"It's just not our kind of game" Nogla said
"And it's not really a multiplayer type of game so we don't really post it as a group" Evan added
"Yes that's true. But I'm given to understand that one of your members play these single player games more often than most of you, am I right?" Dayana asked as the guys already knew who it was
"That would be Delirious" Evan smiled as he tried not to blush from what happened a while ago
"Yes, H2ODelirious. Would you happen to know if he's with us right now?" Dayana asked
"Oh no, no one's seen what Delirious looks like except Cartoonz" Mini lied, hoping that his little lie would be bought
"Well since he's not here with us in the interview, could you speak in his behalf?" Dayana asked
"Yeah, sure" Evan nodded as Dayana continued her question
"Do you think he'll be playing these single-player games more often in YouTube Gaming?"
"He probably will, I mean, he's a fan of the horror games so he might be doing those" Evan answered
"Alright, and what do you feel about the people who are hating on your group because you're not into games like Five Nights at Freddy's?" Dayana asked
"There are haters?" Nogla asked with a chuckle
"Yeah, we don't even notice them because it doesn't matter" Lui laughed a little
"Well that's a good perspective" Dayana smiled as she added "From what I heard, Mini Ladd, you got a bit of the rough side of these haters yourself"
"Yeah, a bit. It got a little rowdy and too personal" Mini chuckled it off
"And even H2ODelirious had problems with his YouTube channel recently, right?" Dayana asked as the guys hesitated to answer
"Ah, yeah..." Evan shortly answered
"As his friends, how did you guys deal with it? And is there any advice you can give to other YouTubers who've had the same problem?" Dayana asked
"Well, Delirious didn't have too much of a problem with this because he really did have permission for the song he used" Mini said
"And the people who striked his channels were just jealous that he got this far, so they weren't too hard to deal with" Lui added
"Is there anything you'd like to say to these people, if ever they're watching?" Dayana asked as Evan frowned
"Yeah—" Nogla started but Evan quickly cut him off
"If they ever try to do that again, we're going to take this a step forward and they'll regret it" Evan sternly said, seriousness evident in his voice
"Oh, I guess as leader of your group, you're supposed to be protective of your friends, huh?" Dayana smiled
"I'm not the leader, we're all just a bunch of guys having fun... But I am protective of my friends. I care for them, and if anyone tries to hurt them, then I'll intervene" Evan said as he caught a glimpse of something by the backstage and a smile crawled up his lips
"Especially when it comes to Delirious" Evan lightly chuckled
"You're close with him, aren't you?" Dayana grinned
"Yeah, well.. he's my best friend" Evan smiled as his eyes locked onto someone else's

Delirious watched as Evan went ahead of him so he could join the guys in the backstage of the YouTube Gaming setup. He sighed as he messed his hair up with his hands. He looked around and could see a few TV screens that were showing the YouTube Gaming interview. He went over to them and grinned once he saw that they were on a commercial break, and the "advertisements" they were showing were from their group's GTA V videos.
"You're a fan too, huh?"
Delirious heard a voice say beside him. He looked to see a guy in his early 20s also watching the commercial. The guy had short black hair, glasses, and surprise surprise, a shark-eating-a-cheeseburger shirt
"Yeah, you can say that" Delirious chuckled as he tried to make his voice sound lower so that he won't be recognized
"They're so fucking cool. And it's amazing how they have such a fun job" the guy said as he continued "I bet that would be the perfect job... playing games for a living..."
"It's not all that perfect" Delirious mumbled under his breathe, but the guy heard it
"Why'd you think that?" the guy asked with a raised eyebrow
"W-Well, y-you know..." Delirious stuttered as he thought up an excuse "They're probably bombarded with pressure and expectations and shit" Delirious nervously laughed as the guy nodded his head
"That's true" the guy said as Delirious let out a sigh of relief
"They do have a certain reputation to uphold" the guy added
"Yeah. I bet it's hard to have an actual life when you're fucking famous..." Delirious mumbled
"I bet it isn't" the guy replied back after he's thought about it
"Why not?" Delirious frowned as he thought that clearly, this guy had no idea what it was like to be famous
"Because the fans love these guys, for whatever or whoever they are" the guy grinned
"You think so?" Delirious asked as he was a bit taken aback
"Yeah. I mean, fans like these guys not because of what the fans think they are, but who they really are" the guy said as Delirious felt a bit lost from what he said
"The fuck do you mean?" Delirious chuckled
"For example, we, the fans, like Vanoss because he's funny and he's nice and he's good at editing videos. Anything aside from that, is still a part of him. And the fans like him even if he has other extra qualities" the guy said as he looked at Delirious and saw that Delirious was still confused
"Let's say he's gay" the guy started as Delirious tensed up, recalling last night's and a while ago's events
"Y-Yeah...?" Delirious stuttered out, telling the guy to continued
"Even if he's gay, it doesn't matter because that's besides the fact that he's funny, nice and is good at editing videos" the guy explained as Delirious finally got what he meant
"In an ideal world, that's how everyone fucking thinks..." Delirious sighed
"In an ideal world, everyone cares about what everyone thinks. But this is the real world, you should only care about what the people who matter to you think" the guy smiled as Delirious blink a few times. He let it process in his mind before he smiled back at the guy
"Thanks, man" Delirious said as he continued "I gotta go" Delirious said as he left the guy and went towards the backstage of the YouTube Gaming setup
"Excuse me, sir, you're not allowed here" a security guard said as he stopped Delirious from going any farther. Delirious huffed as he looked towards the gang and saw that Evan, Lui, Mini and Nogla were all headed towards the couch by the set while Cartoonz, Moo, Brian and Droid stayed at the backstage
"Cartoonz!" Delirious yelled as Cartoonz looked towards him and ran over
"Hey, man. He's with me" Cartoonz said as the guard backed away and let Delirious through
"Thanks" Delirious grinned at Cartoonz who looked at him curiously
"What're you doing here?" Cartoonz asked
"I wanted to talk to Evan before he got on stage, too late I guess" Delirious chuckled
"Yeah, well, you can just watch and wait for them to finish if you want" Cartoonz said as Delirious nodded and they stayed a bit farther away from Moo, Brian and Droid
"So what happened with you and Evan?" Cartoonz asked as they watched the interview go on
"We kissed" Delirious whispered as Cartoonz's eyes widened
"Jon! What?" Cartoonz whisper-yelled as he continued "did he break up with Sydney already?"
"I don't know..." Delirious mumbled
"Does he have plans to?"
"I don't know..."
"So what happens now?" Cartoonz asked, a bit annoyed that Evan kissed Delirious without breaking up with Sydney
"I don't know..." Delirious mumbled again as Cartoonz frowned
"Well then what happened after your kiss?" Cartoonz asked
"Nothing actually" Delirious sighed
"What do you mean nothing? It can't fucking be nothing, Jon" Cartoonz said as he crossed his arms across his chest
"After we kissed, I told him that we should head to the event, and we did... we didn't talk at all on the way over here" Delirious said as Cartoonz shook his head
"You need to talk to him, Jon. Make him choose because he can't keep Sydney then have you on the side. That's fucked up, man" Cartoonz said
"That's why I wanted to fucking talk to him" Delirious grumbled
"Well what will you tell him?"
"I don't know either" Delirious laughed a bit as Cartoonz just sighed
"You're fucking crazy, you know that?" Cartoonz mumbled as they started listening to the interview and noticed that they were talking about Delirious's copyright incident
"I'm not the leader, we're all just a bunch of guys having fun... But I am protective of my friends. I care for them, and if anyone tries to hurt them, then I'll intervene"
The two of them could hear Evan say as Delirious smiled
"Especially when it comes to Delirious" Evan lightly chuckled as Delirious felt his cheeks heat up from the sudden 'attention'
"You're close with him, aren't you?" Dayana grinned
"Yeah, well... he's my best friend" Evan smiled as his eyes locked onto Delirious's. Once they did, Delirious's cheeks turned a darker shade of red. He wanted to look away in embarrassment, but he found himself glued to Evan's stare. Cartoonz noticed that the two were staring at each other as he lightly chuckled to himself
"Well we have it confirmed, H2ODelirious and VanossGaming really are best friends, huh folks?" Dayana chuckled as Evan smiled. Dayana was about to ask another question when Evan stopped her
"I think it's not fair that the other guys are just standing there, so if it's okay, I'm going to switch with one of them" Evan smiled as Dayana nodded
"Of course, of course" Dayana said as Mini, Nogla, Lui, Brock, Brian and Droid were all confused
"Thanks" Evan grinned as he stood up and went over to the backstage
"Alright, one of you guys take the lead. I gotta go" Evan told either Brock or Brian
"You can go and sit with Mini" Brock chuckled at Brian who had a light blush on his cheeks as he went over to Mini by the couch
"Where are you going?" Brock asked as he noticed that Evan was walking away
"I'm going to enjoy E3" Evan called out as he ran over to Delirious with a smile on his face
"Hey Cartoonz, mind if I steal Delirious away from you?" Evan asked as Cartoonz just stepped aside with a smirk
"Where the fuck are we going, Evan?" Delirious chuckled as Evan took his hand and they darted out of the YouTube Gaming setup
"Wherever your heart desires, Jon... Wherever your heart desires" [reference] Evan grinned as Delirious laughed, both finally fully happy that they're in each other's presence

"Where do you think those two are headed?" Brock asked Cartoonz as they both stared at the two as they ran off
"I don't know, but something tells me that I don't want to go back to the hotel room just yet..." Cartoonz mumbled as Brock chuckled
