Violet's POV
It was 3 pm so that meant I had 5 hours to get ready for the party, more than enough time
I took a quick shower and I changed into black leggings and a tie dye t-shirt, I didn't do anything with my hair because I still wasn't sure about what I was gonna wear, I was probably going to wear something black because I've been really digging that color lately
I chose to wear a black mini skirt and a white crop top, and with my hair, I will be probably braiding it a bit
I began to brush my hair slightly and then I was going to start straightening it
I played some music from my iPod, I tried skipping every song that would remind me of him because I really didn't want to remember what I said to him yesterday, I truly am sorry but well, I'm shit

30 minutes later
I was done with my hair already and I decided to go downstairs for a snack, It was 4:30, I still had many time left
I went downstairs and I grabbed a granola bar and a cranberry juice box, I sat down at the counter and started eating, both of my sister were't here so I was home alone
Talking about home alone. Chandler. I wonder if he is still going to the party, I mean I did turn him down but I didn't exactly do that because I don't have anyone to go to the party with, what if he asks me where my date was, what was I going to tell him? "he got diarrea and had to leave"? "His favorite tv show was having a back to back marathon"? I had to say something believable for him not to suspect that I had only said that because I'm a piece of shit that is scared of her friends laughing at her
I decided to text him
V: hey
C: Hi, is everything ok?
why is he like this
V: yeah, I'm fine don't worry
V: but yeah, I was wondering if you were still going to the party?
I double texted him, that's bad
C: yupp
C: need a ride or something?
whY is he like this??
V: Oh umm, no thanks, I'm cool
delivered
That didn't go as bad as I thought it would
I rushed up stairs and I began with my make up, I did my usual only that I added lip stick instead of only gloss
It was still 5 and I was gonna get bored, Mmm, let's go to Jack In The Box I thought, food is always a good idea
I went to my room to grab some shoes, I saw Chandler's jacket from the corner of my eye, and I smiled, I literally smiled. why does he make me really happy

"I'll have 2 tacos and a drink please" I told the guy at the cashier
I walked to the soda machine and I was going to fill mine with coke when I heard a voice
"Hey Violet" I turned around and I saw Janson with a smirk on his face
"Oh, Hi" I told him nicely
"Are you going to the party today?" he asked me, shit not again
"Yeah" I told him putting some soda in my cup
"You got a date?" He asked me, and I didn't need to turn around to see that he was smirking
"Yeah, Chandler" I told him and completely regretting it
"Oh, umm thats cool I guess" he said and he walked away
And that ladies and gentlemen, is panic speaking, I took a deep breath and I walked back to my table
I couldn't think straight while eating, I felt rally guilty and shitty and proud at the same time but well, that's my life, I'm usually all about bad decisions just like Harry Potter

Why did I even do that? I mean I know I'm shit but am I really that of a shit?
I grabbed the clothes from my hangers and I started changing into my clothes, it was already 7:30 yay
I took a look from my full length mirror, I look like a slut with my black tennis skirt and my low cut tank top and I'll probably wear some converse
Slut or not, I look good, and I feel confident and confidence is the key to success (idek)
I decided to take some selfies considering the fact that I look good right now
I looked at my clock and It was finally 8, I wasn't going to leave straight away because I was going to ask one of my sisters to take me there
I checked myself out on the mirror once again just to make sure that everything was okay, I put on perfume for the third time today and I adjusted my earrings, I look good I told myself one more time
"Hey pumpkin you ready?" asked Caroline from downstairs
"Yeah,I'll come down in a second" I yelled at her
I'm fine I said taking a long long breath

Chandler's POV
I wonder who her date is, If it's Janson I swear I'm gonna flip
I was on the road already,I really want to see Violet but I'm scared she will be too busy with her date, I won't, thats for sure, I didn't want to invite anyone that wasn't her
I was already in the valley and I was driving around to find the party, the guy who's party is invited everyone and he was very poplar for having the best parties, i'm surprised Violet's coming, I didn't know she went to parties, specially when there will be alcohol there
I passed the house where the party was and I could hear the beaming music even though my windows were closed, there were many people outside handing beers, He gets all the alcohol from his brothers who are on a college frat
I parked my car a few blocks away and I started walking to the party, I was greeted by 2 seniors who were handing beers to everyone
"What grade are you in" They asked me before letting me in
"I'm a junior" I told them
"You're the hickey guy?" they asked laughing, did that rumor really get to the seniors
"Yeah" I answered smiling
"And um, where's the girl" one of them asked me
"What girl" I told them even though I knew who they were talking about
"The hickey girl" they told me both smirking
"None of your business" I told them grabbing a beer and leaving
I walked inside the party and I was not surprised when I saw people making out on a couch and people playing spin the bottle in the kitchen
I began walking and I greeted many people, there was a group of girls pointing at me and I recognized them as Violet's friends, they were like 8 girls and they were all probably talking shit about me but idgaf
I found a booth with some guys from the football team all drinking and talking, I'll stick with them for now
Even if Violet has a date that doesn't mean I can't talk to her right?
I sat with these football dudes for a while and we all made small talk, until they all turned their heads to the entrance focusing on something/ someone, but I was too busy on my drink
"She's perfect" said Noel taking a huge breath
"Dibs" said Mike
"She's Chandler's though" said Casper
what? that could only mean one thing.......
I turned around and Jesus tittyfucking Christ I couldn't believe my eyes
There she stood, black skirt, white tight crop top and black heels, she looks amazing, I've never seen her look this perfect
She stood at the entrance looking for someone, probably her friends, I swear every guy is looking at her right now, she looks like a model
But let's be honest, When doesn't she?
I couldn't take my eyes off her, and I also really wanted to go talk to her
And I'm not going to be that typical asshole and not talking to her in the entire party like some guys do
I stood up and left my friends behind so that I could speak to her, damn she looked completely stunning
As I got closer to her I felt my heart beating faster and my nerves getting tenser until I finally got to her side
She turned around before I could say a thing "Oh, hey Chandler" she said smiling
"Hi" I told her. Really Chandler?, Hi was the first thing that came to your mind?
"So where's your date" I decided to ask her since I didn't see anyone enter with her
Her cheeks turned shades of red and she blinked twice "He in the park- I mean he-e is in the umm he is parking the umm parking the c-c-ar" she said and I couldn't help but laugh at how cute she was
"Why are you nervous" I asked her
"I'm not nervous" she said proudly
"Then why were you startling" I asked her smirking
She laughed and laughed more during the conversation we had, we kept talking and talking for the whole party that we somewhat ended on the backyard
She was leaning against a wall and I was standing in front of her
"But I wasn't that annoying" she told me laughing
"You were really mean that's what you were" I told her laughing
"Oh and you were the biggest pain I've ever had in my ass" she said laughing
there was no one out here besides us even though the backyard is huge and much bigger than his living room and there is a ping pong table here, talking about ping pong tables, that gave me an idea
"Hey let's go to the ping pong table" I told her grabbing her hand ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) and taking her there
It was dark outside and it was kind of cold
We got to the ping pong table and I started to get on top of it
"What are you doing?" She asked me smiling
"What does it look like" I told her laying down on the table
"Come here" I told her and I patted the space next to me
"No, what if it breaks" she told me
"Then we'd fall" I answered her
She had a hesitant smile but in the end, she agreed to and she began getting on top of it
"If this breaks It'll be your fault" she told me and she laid down next to me
There we were, starring at the sky, there weren't any stars so we were just looking into nothing really
"I swear in every teen romance movie they always look into the stars and talk about life, but our life isn't a movie, and we're not in love and we're not talking about life" she said laughing
"You're not in love, that doesn't mean I'm not" I told her turning my head to look at her
"You know I love you right?" I told her
"You don't love me Chandler, you love the thought of me, we hadn't spoke for 2 years, you can't love me" she said not looking at me
"Why can't you just accept it" I told her
"Accept what Chandler" she said still not looking at me
I wasn't going to argue with her right now, It didn't seem like the time to have this conversation with her even if I wanted to
"Nothing" I told her looking away from her
To be honest I love her but it makes me so mad knowing that she doesn't want to accept what's real, If she did dislike me as much as she used to, then she wouldn't have stayed with me the whole party or she wouldn't let me give her a hickey or she wouldn't have been as nice as she was to me yesterday at her house, I care so much about her and she knows that but she doesn't want me to because she-
She held my hand. She out of the nothing just held my hand
"Accept what" she said finally looking at me
She is so bipolar
"That I love you" I told her
She smiled and held my hand tighter
