I woke up and looked at the clock. 7:45. Get up! Toby would be here in an hour! I decided to keep my pajamas on since the incident. I sprinted into the kitchen, grabbed a bowl, and poured pancake mix messily into it. The soupy mix sizzled when it hit the pan. 8:00. phew. FLIP! The pancake was getting more "solid" now. 8:30. By this time, I got a decent 4 pancakes. It was 8:40. I had time to put my hair in a messy bun. DING DONG! He was here!
<Toby's POV>
I rang the doorbell as I heard the scuffling of slippers towards the door. "Hey!," she exclaimed as she gave me a small squeeze, "Ready to eat?". "Yeah, smells good!" I said as I walked in. She had 2 pancakes on a plate for me as I walked into the kitchen. "I'm lactose intolerant. Did you happen to make these with almond milk?" I said poking at my pancake with a fork. "No way! I am too. Eat away!" She said with a mouth full. I dug in. "Delishous!" I muffled with a mouthful.
