"What are you doing, (Y/N)?" Evgeni asks me as he walks into the kitchen.
"I'm making cupcakes." I show him the pink batter in the cupcake trays. "I'm almost done." I assure him as he stands next to me and watches me as I place the batter into the empty slots on the pan.
"Would you like to help me?" I ask him, unsure of why he's so intrigued with the cupcakes.
"No." He says, taking his eyes off me and walking to the refrigerator.
"You never help me do anything." I pout as he takes a drink of his water.
"That's not true." He argues as I put the last touch of batter into the pans.
"What are we supposed to do with the rest of the batter?" I ask him, showing him the few ounces of batter left in the bowl.
"I'll help you." He pauses and walks over to me. "I know what I could do with it." He takes his finger and places it in the bowl.
"Geno!" I scold him, not wanting him to ruin the rest of the batter.
"What? I'm helping." He informs me.
He takes the pink batter and smears it across my cheek. My mouth drops.
"What the heck?" I scream at him while he laughs. "It's not funny!"
"Yes it is." He continues to laugh, so hard that he closes his eyes. I take advantage of it and grab half of the batter into my hands and smack it on his face.
I start to laugh and this time his face turns serious. His entire face is covered in pink liquid, dripping onto his black shirt.
"You're right, Geno. It is funny!" I taunt him as he begins to think of another way to get me back.
"Kiss me, (Y/N)." He tries to grab me, but I run away before he can kiss me.
"No!" I scream, running around the house.
He finally catches me and kisses me on the lips, sending some batter into my mouth.
"You're gross." I wipe some batter off his face and eat it.
"You're the gross one." We both laugh and help each other get the pink off our face.
"Thanks for helping me." I thank him sarcastically as I wipe the last pink strip off his face.
"No problem, (Y/N)." He kisses me on the cheek. "I love you."
"I love you too, Geno." I lean up and peck his lips once again. "Now you can put the cupcakes in the oven." I smile at him.
"Anything for you, (Y/N)." He kisses the top of my head before going back into the kitchen to bake the cupcakes.
