"Dammit! I Honestly don't think we can help this girl!"

"Look at her... She won't make it, If we got her in earlier the we would've had a chance.."

"I need to see my little girl! Let me see her!"
"We cant let you see her right now, please leave!"
"What happened? was it a car accident?! Let me see her now; Where's my wife?!"
"Sir, Calm down-"

I'd jump up gasping, I body felt hot, I rushed myself up and swam out of my cave, My father was there the day I died? I wonder how mum and dad are doing now...
"Sapphire! Sapphire! Oh my god, Guess what?!!"
Why does that sound so familiar?

"Oh my god guys, guess what!"
I tilted my head, This girl always had something to say. "What?"

I turned my head to see Ruby. "Ruby? What's up?.."

"Jet asked me out!"
I chocked. "Jet?! are you serious?!"

"Quartz asked me out! Can you believe it? "
I swallowed a lump in my throat, not because of Quartz, but because what she said was basically what Diamond said that day..
"Oh.. That's great Ruby! I'm happy for you!"
I could already see her hair turning a light blue, I could see she was happy..
I decided not to go to the surface today, I need a break from thinking about my past and Riley.
"Sapphire, You should come to the surface with me today, It's going to be a warm day, we should go for a walk, we haven't done that in a while!"
Are you serious?!"I wasn't planning on going up today.."
She smirked. "Your boyfriend can come if he wants"
"Boyfriend?"
"The Human!"
"Riley?! He's not my-"
"Riley? That's his name, huh?"
"He's not my boyfriend!"
"You like him though, Admit it!"
I'd look down, shaking my head slightly.
"Sapphire.. Listen, they say Love doesn't make you happy, but it does, You need to forget about your past and think about your future!"
She's right I guess. "Fine, let's go."
She took my hand and we sped up to the surface.

When we arrived, I scanned the area, no one was there..
We swam over to the sand and changed from our tails, into legs, We pulled ourselves up and rested for a moment. "I haven't changed in a long time, Have you?"
I nodded. "The other day."
"It's really tiring."
"yeah..."
I heard rustling behind me and I turned my head around, It was Riley.
He smiled at me. "I thought I heard talking."
"Hey Riley, we were just about to go for a walk."
He'd chuckle. "Sounds weird coming from you, you being a mermaid and all."
I'd notice Ruby rush into the water, I turned back around and saw her swimming in mermaid form up to Quartz, where did he come from?!
She turned and called out to me. "Sapphire, I've got to go help Quartz with something, can we go a bit later."
I just nodded, then they dove underwater.
"So, Sapphire, how are you?"
He sat next to me and I'd rest my head on his shoulder. "I've been alright."
It was quiet for a moment. "I wonder if my mother is by my side right now.."
I frowned. "Maybe she is... She is probably devastated right you, hoping you will come back."
"You think?"
"Well... She's your mother, She would be worried about you"
"I've only just started missing her.."
I sighed. "I can take you back if you want..."
He put his arm around my waist. "No, I want to stay here a bit longer, There's still so much to see."
I'd smile slightly. "yeah.. Your right"
I could feel myself getting drowsy.
"You can rest if you want, I'll still be here when you wake up"
I felt him move so I pulled my head up and he let go of me, He leant back and lied on the ground , I'd lean over him and hug him, laying down, my face was in his chest, I felt him wrap his arms around me and I closed my eyes, He ran his fingers through my hair gently and it felt nice, but it made me even more tired and I eventually fell asleep..

Crystal was staring into my eyes.
"You want to become one of us, don't you?
All you have to do is take my hand....
Take my hand and you'll be with her forever!"

I turned around the see Riley, He walked through me as if I wasn't there, I turned back to watch Riley take Crystals hand, I tried calling out but my voice wasn't working.
I reached out but my hand went through him, The smirk on Crystals face was evil!
"Thank Ruby for telling me about you, if she never did, you wouldn't be able to be with her..."
