"Are we there yet?" I asked annoyed. It was way past my curfew and I knew that my mother was absolutely going to rip my guts out. None of them replied so I just huffed and walked along with them, up the waterfall, searching for my phone in my bag. "No, no no no no no!" I exclaimed. They both turned around worry etching on their face. When they realized what happened they laughed. "Great, I'm double grounded, you happy." "It's not my fault you lost you mobile." Chaiki laughed silently. "Can one of you be a gentlemen and let me borrow their phone. "Sure." Fabio stated. My eyes widened and I was about to thank him when he said, "But your going to have to come and get it." They both snickered. "Ah, I knew there was going to be a catch!" I looked up and they were already gaining distance over me. "Oh come on, guys. That's not fair!" I yelled after them. "Oh but Lara, who said life was fair." Fabio bellowed from afar, his deep voice passing through me. I was already on my feet my arms swinging and my heels aching from my flip flops. I paused for a second slipping them of my feet and closing my fingers around them, running faster then I thought I could. "Quick, she's gaining on us." They both laughed. I didn't realize it till I catched up to them but I was laughing as well. They both stopped. I saw this as my chance to grab the mobile. I snatched it from Fabio's hand and screamed in triumph. I danced up and down blowing raspberries constantly. As I was about to dial the number to our house landline I saw what we came here to see. "Oh my goodness." I lowered my hand to my side and my I thought my jaw was going to drop. We had taken the ferry into the city. Rio de Jeniro. Out of all the countries and places I have ever been, Rio de Jeniro took my breath away every second that I lived there. Whether it was the suburbs, the capitol or even the sky, Rio de Jeniro topped it all. I layed down on my stomach and tilted my head up towards the dark blue, endless sky, counting the infite stars that lay beyond the blanket of darkness. "You know. When I was a kid. All I wanted to do was stare at stars. I learnt all the constellations, yet I still can't put my head around the fact that there are billions of galaxies with trillions of stars, meaning there are more constellations which I will never ever know. It amazes me you know. And yet still frustrates me that I will never know the answer." They both just humph. I roll my eyes and slowly, my eyelids betray my own heart and they close unwillingly to the sound of the ocean waves.

"Thank you for bringing her back and calling me in advance." Mrs. Carter. motioned to the two boys. "It's are pleasure ma'am. Where should I set her down?" Fabio asked politely. "Oh just her bed will do thanks." Fabio set me down and kissed my forehead goodbye as well as Chiaki. As they were about to leave my room I sleepily said, "You know I have been awake all that time. I just wanted you to carry me home because I really couldn't be bothered walking home." Fabio as well as Chaiki both glared at me disapprovingly. "You made me carry you all the way up these damn stairs." Fabio had started, but not in a harsh or unkind way but more of a I'm going to murder you bit I still love you kind of way. "Come on, you have so many muscles I'm pretty sure you felt nothing but a feather from my petite frame." I said, putting on my cutest puppy dog face. Both of them chuckled and embraced me in a hug, tousling my hair and patting my face as if I was actually a dog. "Okay, you have to go now because I actually am tired now and want to go to bed. I'll see you tomorrow in school then okay?" I said. Both of them nodded and let out a couple of yeses. I turned of my night lamp and turned around so that I could let the brightness of the stary night sky lull me to sleep.

"Hey Oscar." I whispered into his ear. His fur tickling the small piece of skin u
