Mia dodged out of the lunch room hearing laughter coming from all around her. She could feel hot tears pushing there way down her cheek, but she kept them in. She found her way to an empty bathroom, staring at herself in the white specked mirror.
Her mid top was covered in the orange sauce, Mia panicked quickly wetting a paper towel and rubbing soap on it. She couldn't go to class with a spagehtti stain on her, what a horrible day to not bring an extra pair of clothes.She scrubbed and scrubbed, her arm soon began to throb but the stain barely came out.
A knock came from outside startling Mia. She tossed the now orange stained paper towel away and wondered if she didn't speak this person would leave. Of course, they didn't they continued knocking and knocking.
"Who is it?"Mia asked.
"um... I'm Calum, Calum Hood," Mia brain stopped, the wheels stop turning, did he say Calum Hood? Why is the most athletic guy standing behind the girls bathroom door trying to talk to her? "Are you okay? I saw what happened and thought you got hurt or something"
"I'm fine actually just have a little stain on my shirt"Mia replied back, still trying to understand why THE Calum Hood is worried about her.
"It's kinda awkward talking to you between this door, Do you mind if I come in?"
Calum Hood asking to enter the bathroom of which Mia Lawrence is standing.
"Calum this is a girls bathroom."
"Yeah I know but I just want to make sure you're okay"Mia sighed heavily, and decided to let him come in. The door creaked slowly open which sent shivers up her back. Calum Hood was a 6 foot tall foot ball player, he had dark black hair that sweep over his forehead. His jaw seemed extrememly defined, almost making him look like a model, and he was built well... fine.
Calum's eyes went straight to the stain, the shirt was low and made Mia feel very uncomfortable. She crossed her arms hoping he got the hint.
"Do you need a spare change of clothes?"He asked polietly.
"Please" she begged, " I rather not spend the rest of the day with a huge spaggehtti stain on my chest"Mia laughed noticing Calum's cheeks began to turn a rosey pink. Her head went down in discomfort, "Do you have an extra shirt or something?"Mia asked.
"In my locker, I'll go run and get it. You stay here okay?"Mia agreed as Calum ran out the bathroom.
Mia thoughts began to wonder on why Calum was being so nice to her? Calum was one of the most popular guys in school, she assumed he was a douchebag just like the rest of his clique.Maybe she was wrong, he could be a nice guy or he could just be acting.
Knock!knock!
Mia's thoughts disappered at the sudden noise. She assumed it was Calum back with a new shirt, so she told him to come in.
He entered the room pushing the shirt in front of Mia's face, " Here. It might be a bit big on you but hopefully it will do." Mia took the shirt and thanked him, hurrying into the nearest stall.
She quickly stripped off her old stained shirt and replaced it with Calums' black basic nirvana tee, with the yellow smiley on the front. The baggy shirt had a strong aroma of men's cologne.
She tied the extra material to the side and shoved her v-neck in her bag before exiting.
"Do I look alright?"Mia asked as she showed Calum her new outfit.
"Yeah,"Calum replied, rubbing the back of his neck, " Are you ready to go? I'll walk you back to the lunch room" Mia nodded and they left the restroom.
As they walked down the hall, Calum told Mia how much he hated Lauren's group, they made fun of him in middle school and now are trying to date him. They are always dating Calums friends, trying to make him jealous but he just doesn't like them.
"You know I just wish they would leave me alone"
"I couldn't agree with you more"Mia replied.
Geeeeeeer!
Mia looked down at her stomach, she hasn't eaten anything at all today. Calum looked over and saw Mia clenching her stomach.He quickly opened his backpack pulling out half of a sandwich, handing it to her.
"Really?"Mia raised an eyebrow, Calum nodded and She quickly took and started eating, "Thanks!" Mia smiled, the bell shortly followed.
"I guess we should get to class, I hope to see you around school, later"Calum waved as he began to run.
"See ya"
