Evie

Gotta call Ben, Jay and Carlos.

I almost trip as I run down the stairs.

I get to the phone, calling Ben first.

"Ben pick up!" I shout at no one.

The phone is picked up.

"Hello?" A tiered half asleep Ben asks.

"Ben. Get to my house now! Mal woke up screaming and she won't speak to me!" I shout into the phone, hanging up and doing just the same for Carlos and Jay.

I run back upstairs to see Mal in the exact same position as before.

"No." She repeats over and over.

"Mal! Please say something!" I says desperately.

She looks up at me.

"I should have known it was all too perfect... " Mal says sadly.

She then goes back to repeating the word no.

What happened in her dream?

I hug Mal, hoping she will react, she doesn't.

"Mal? What was too easy? What do you mean?" I ask her.

Mal stares straight ahead.

"She isn't going to give up until she has everything in her control.." She mutters.

"Who?" I ask again.

Mal just shakes her head.

I hear banging on the door and rush down.

"Mal! Evie!" I hear Ben shout.

I open the door.

"Where is she?" Ben asks franticly.

I point upstairs.

He bolts up the stairs. I close the door and follow.

He sits beside her.

"Mal, sweetie, speak to me." He whispers.

Mal does nothing.

Jay and Carlos come running into the room.

Carlos goes right up to Mal.

"I know what's wrong." He says.

We all stare at the brains of our group.

"She was dreaming, and whatever it was, it took a turn for the worse. When she woke up she was so scared she couldn't speak or really do much." He explains.

"How do you know this?" Jay asks.

Carlos frowns.

"She has done it before." He says.

We all stare at him.

"When we were younger, Mal accidentally burnt down my house. While it was being rebuilt, I stayed with her." He says.

"I couldn't sleep, so I went to go see if Mal was awake, and just as I entered she woke up screaming. It lasted where she didn't speak anything but the word no for ten minuets, then she snapped out of it and just stared ahead. Then she spray painted my face blue for being in her room." He says.

We chucle a little at the last part, but it falls flat.

...

Its almost day, and Mal is still in her shock position.

"Guys? What's going on?" I hear Mal ask.

We all look towards her.

Her eyes still filled with fear.

"Mal!" Ben shouts.

He hugs her tightly.

Mal doesn't move.

Then she hugs him right back.

"Ben.." Mal whispers filled with relief.

Mal is released from the hug and turns to us.

"Sorry guys." She mutters, getting up.

Carlos pushes her back down.

"Mal. Remember that you have to take it slow when this happens." He says.

Mal glares at him.

"Don't make me spray paint your face again." She says, making him back away.

She gets up, stumbling a little then walks out of the room.

"Carlos? Did she ever say what she drempt of the first time?" Ben asks.

Carlos nods.

"She told me after she saved us from Maleificent." He said.

We all stare at Carlos.

"She had apparently dreamed the the rest of the isle had caught on fire because of her. Then, she said that everyone including all of us could have been saved if the barrier could be broken." He mutters.

How did she even look at us again?

"Ben, this one was ten times worse than the first one. Something terrible went on in that dream. And something tells me it wasn't a fire." Carlos says seriously.

"We should ask her what happened." Jay says.

"No. Give her time." Carlos says, blocking the door.

"Talk to her all you want, but if you talk to her before she is ready, you risk her going back into the state she was just in." Carlos growls.

He must have tried...

"Alright. Let's go see if she is ok." Ben says.

We all follow him down stairs.

When there, we find Mal in the kitchen, making toast.

"Mal, you ok?" Ben asks.

Mal looks up at him and smiles.

"Yes. I just had a terrible dream thats all." She mutters.

He is hugging her from behind as she spreads some butter on the fresh toast.

"Mal? When you want to talk about, please come to us." Carlos says.

Mal nods.

"I want to tell you all, but could I eat my toast first?" She asks holding up the price of golden brown toast.

Jay laughs.

"Sure Mal." He says.

...

Once Mal had finished her retelling of the whole, Maleificent coming back, we all had questions.

"So, who is the man you would have called father?" Ben asks.

Mal shrugs.

"I know nothing about my father. He never send mail to me or my mother. She never told me anything. So I have no clue who he is." Mal says.

We all think.

"Hey! The royal board of records keeps records on everyone, even villains." Ben says.

Mal seems to perk up.

"We need to go!" She says.

Ben shakes his head.

"You are resting." He says.

They already act like they are married.

Mal gives in and me all end up drifting off to sleep on the couches.
