Chapter 1: Meeting Beomhan
A week or so after Narachan enlisted, a few of us started to try to add him to the military app to track soldiers. FM Entertainment had given us Bitsaeon's information so we could follow him and write him letters, but there was no sign of FM giving us Narachan's information. The information we had about his enlistment did not bring him up in the system and we didn't know what to do.
A few French Mints and I kept trying different combinations to see what would work. I finally shared with them some information I had been keeping quiet. Jina, FM's CEO, had been an idol. When I found out about this, a Korean friend of mine had gone one a hunt to find more information about her idol career. It was interesting to find out that she was only about a month older than me. Or at least, that was what I thought.
In the Kakao chat room, Jina was often very comfortable talking to the USA fans. One day she let her guard down and shared that it was her birthday and she was going to be turning 40. That didn't line up with the birthday that I knew from when my friend had found her official idol profile. It seemed that somewhere along the line, Jina had lied about her birthday for some reason. I kept it quiet, but now that we were not finding Narachan on the military app, it seemed possible that his birthday had also been manipulated for some reason.
So we tried different years, different enlistment dates, different locations, different name options. We couldn't find him. So, I asked an admint, the glorified MONT fans who would help FM organize events when they traveled to different countries.
This admint had been helpful to me in the past, but I did not consider her a friend. Unfortunately, she thought, because I was seeking this information to add him to the app, that I was trying to find his personal address to find him. Here we go again. Another person thinking I am stalking Narachan. I did not want to go find him. I did not even want his address. I just wanted to find him on this app that they had previously given us Bitsaeon's information on. The admint misunderstood me and then the rumors started again, this time, from inside the inner circle of the glorified fans, the admints.
As a whole, the admints started hindering me every time I tried to do something to support Roda. Every time I had a question on an order, they would always say no and never even ask the staff. It was their job to talk to the staff to get answers and I was trying to make sure I wasn't breaking copyright laws and similar with sharing photos and videos. I wasn't the largest fan of the admints before this, but this situation made me trust them even less. The best I could do was just ignore them and focus on myself.
Thankfully, FM were above the admints and shared the information, so we could follow Narachan on The Camp app. This however was only the start of the problems with the admints.
About a month after the last calls with Narachan, and just a handful of weeks after he enlisted, fans and myself were settling into having Beomhan around to entertain us. He was quite the character and, even though his first live streams had only 60-80 people watching, all of who were fans of MONT, his streams quickly grew and he was already to release a pre-debut song to advertise himself.
Sun's Up was scheduled to be released on July 2nd, written mostly by Roda with some help from Beomhan so it suited his character. With only one idol and one trainee, FM Entertainment needed money to keep coming in with the other two idols, Narachan and Bitsaeon, enlisted. FM Entertainment just had to survive one year and then Bitsaeon would return from his service, and Beomhan was their ticket for survival.
I wanted Narachan to come back and I knew that if that was going to happen, I needed to help FM Entertainment to survive that year period. There was no question in my mind. I had to keep doing calls so they had the money to keep going. Fan meetings and calls with Roda and Beomhan were scheduled leading up to the song release and I continued with my trend and purchased them all.
To help advertise Beomhan's new song, the first promotional activity was a live stream where Roda did another paint-a-long. I was excited to do another one after the one where we painted an orange for Narachan's Beautiful Sunday song release. I painted along with Roda and laughed as Beomhan kept failing with following instructions. I did some touch ups after the live, but overall, I thought it went well. I enjoyed learning new painting techniques from watching Roda. I used to do a lot of painting, but his approach was much different than my middle school art classes. Painting was a good option to keep my mind off of missing Narachan.
Two days later, the first fan meeting and calls with Beomhan were scheduled. To bring in more money and to help Beomhan adjust to interacting with fans, Roda would be there right with him. The USA Mints in particular were excited. They all loved Roda, he was their style, and Beomhan was an American, so they we all assumed he would suit them as well. Neither were quite my style, but I was committed to helping Narachan come back to a working company.
The first fan meeting was to be a cooking live to get the busy day started. FM struggled to get things going as usual on Discord, but once the video was going, it was clear to me why. They were filming the live from the basement in their kitchen for the cooking live on Discord. Roda and Beomhan were both dressed nicely with black pants and button up white shirts. They bounced back and forth between each other nicely, switching between Korean and English, reading their prompts. They were ready, but surly the craziness would start any moment.
They tried to read some fan comments and that was how long it took for them to break down. It didn't matter so much because the signal was really bad. They reminisced about the last time RoHan did a cooking live together, but they couldn't remember what they cooked. I couldn't either. I think it was when they were in the USA in 2020 together. Fans typed Korean for Roda and Beomhan tried to read it so slowly.
At least Roda knew how to cook his ramen well enough. He joked saying he would open his restaurant next month. The ramen was left to cook while they headed upstairs where the signal was better for their talking portion of the fan meeting.
They were so awkward and froze for the camera, just waiting for everyone to be ready before starting. Roda was quite a trooper putting up with Beomhan's antics, not really understanding where they came from. But Roda gave Beomahn a run for his money, playing as well, and pretended to be poisoned by his own food. They were having fun playing together, even if they were supposed to be competing with their cooking.
Finishing up their food, the were going to draw numbers from a hat for fans to ask questions, just they way Roda and Narachan had earlier this year. I had forgot to come up with a question so of course, naturally Roda pulled my number first.
My mic was turned on by staff and I giggled to myself and rolled my eyes. Beomhan asked, 'Who is it?'
'Can you hear me?' I responded.
'Sophia?' Roda asked. 'Sophia!' Beomhan shouted, excited to hear me talk for the first time. 'How are you?'
'Hi, guys.' I replied briefly.
'Yo, what up?' Beomhan asked.
'I'm doing good, but I can't think of a question. Wait, is my question just for Roda or for both of you?'
'Both,' Beomhan replied right away. In the spring, only one of them would answer. 'Or whoever you want. Whoever you think is the better chef.'
'Well I have more questions for you Beomhan. Uh... You know how in one of MONT's music videos they got to do some Polish folk dancing.'
'Oh ya,' he looked at the camera in an almost alluring way.
'Would you ever want to do folk dancing?'
'Ya,' he cocked his head to the side, thinking about that possibility, 'that would be awesome.'
'What kind of folk dancing would you like to try?' I talked over him, missing what he said when he elaborated.
'Ooo, I don't know names or anything, but if you tag us in some videos, I'll learn. I just like, learn stuff from videos.'
'Sounds great.'
'Ya.' Beomhan finished. 'Good,' Roda replied in Korean, ready to move to the next person.
They both said thank you again and goodbye to me.
When my mic was off again, Beomhan talked about how he got nervous when he heard my voice. I kind of wondered if I was planted to go first because I should have been ready and easy, but nope.
The next question asked about their Chinese speaking skills and neither of them faired well. They had fun however and I laughed at how Beomhan spoke English to explain Roda's English about speaking Chinese. They had no clue what they were doing. The maknaes together were hilarious. This was what the company had been missing.
They answered a few quicker questions and transitioned again to do some performing. Our first time seeing Beomhan perform. I wondered if we were going to get a sneak peek at Sun's Up, but the focus was to be on Beomhan dancing. Roda vamped until Beomhan was ready.
The song Beomhan prepared started and it seemed like he was just improving to the music. He did some cute finger hearts mixed into his smooth and popping dance. The light was very dark so it was hard to see him, but he did well.
Roda rapped next for us. It was very casual feeling and they both were so awkward and shy. They were not acting like professionals, but it was fun and that was much better than seeing professional idols perform on Discord. The audio cut out a bunch, but Roda was excited to be performing, so I smiled and clapped for him in the chat. He followed it up with a performance of Anxious so Beomhan could dance while he rapped. They worked well together. Both Narachan and Bitsaeon would have been out of place with the two of them.
They finished their performances, both acting silly, but I was laughing at them the whole time. It was a great introduction to Beomhan and Roda played more, as well. Together, they were going to get more fans this way, if they weren't too awkward every time.
The first fan meeting was ending and they had to prepare for their high touch before calls would start. Beomhan said he was nervous, but it was exciting. This was going to be his first time to talk to fans. And then we waited.
It wasn't too much of a wait for me. I was maybe fifth of 20 or so fans that were there. I played with my cat while I waited. That was the best way for me to get her quiet before it was my turn. The high touch would be quick, so I didn't want to have any problems.
I was pushed into the room by staff, but I had to turn my audio back on because I had been muted earlier. They couldn't see me but Roda quickly said, 'Oh, Sophia,' like remembering an old friend. While they waited for me to fix my camera and audio, Roda sang his own little song about me, 'Sophia, Sophia, Sophia.' He said more, but I couldn't quite catch what his song was about.
When my camera and audio finally worked, they both were ready to say my name again, 'Hello Sophia!'
'Hi guys. You guys did so good today! So much fun!'
'Oh! Thank you! We also had fun.' Beomhan quickly replied while Roda cheered, not finding his words quick enough. 'Thank you for coming.' Beomhan leaned forward to look at me more closely. This was his first time seeing me.
'Oh, of course.' I smiled big and kind of slurred my words because of their cuteness. 'I can't pass up seeing you guys.'
'What was your favorite part of the show? Quick, quick!' Beomhan shouted at me. I couldn't level up my energy to meet his, but I still smiled.
'Uh, seeing you dance, of course!'
Beomhan pointed to the camera and Roda gave me a thumbs up. 'You're the best,' Beomhan whispered as the bell rang.
'Love you guys. Bye. Chat with you later.' I didn't want to overstay my welcome, so I wrapped up promptly.
'Bye,' Beomhan replied as they both waved.
'See you, Sophia.' Roda said in the last moment as I was bumped from the room, finally finding his English to talk to me. I wasn't worried about him not saying anything. Roda was comfortable and words weren't necessary.
It wasn't too long of a wait for my real call with the two of them. I knew what I wanted to talk to each of them about and for the first time, I wasn't really that nervous. Beomhan would be crazy, of course, but I didn't have to worry about saying the wrong thing to Narachan. Roda was comfortable and I wasn't worried about him. This call, for the first time, wasn't causing me stress, anxiety, or the feared, nausea.
'Hello,' I said as Roda showed up in my screen. I was glad he was first. It was a good way for me to slowly ease into talking to Beomhan and a way for Beomhan to see how Roda interacted with each fan first. I was sure they all had their unique style to talk to each fan. FM always asked when the last time you had a fan call was, so I assumed they were taking notes and trying to remember things so fans felt more cared for.
'Hi, Sophia,' he smiled at me. This was the first call since Narachan left. I bet he was glad I didn't leave. It would have been so easy for me to leave and stop supporting them when Narachan enlisted. But I was still here. I was committed. If I really wanted Narachan to come back, he needed a company to come back to, so now I would support Roda and Beomhan.
'Hi, Roda.' I quickly tried to start my video recording on my phone and made small talk in the mean time.
'How are you?' He also tried to fill the dead air while he couldn't see me.
'Pretty good. It's so good to see you guys again.'
'Oh, me too. It's one month.'
'Two months.' Even longer. This was the longest we had gone without talking in nearly a year.
'Two months! Wow, oh wow.' He thought about how long it had been. 'How have you been these day?'
'Pretty good, but it's so hot outside.'
'Hu?' The signal must have jumped.
'It's so hot.' I repeated.
'A yes, Korea is so hot.'
'I don't understand it.' I do not do well with the heat.
'Humid and hot and,... but always, when I sleep, always turn on air-con and sleep.' He mimed sleeping comfortably for me, trying to be more animated than usual. At least this was a good impact Beomhan seemed to be having on him.
'Oh, you're not scared you're going to die with the air conditioner on?'
'Oh, sorry?' He leaned in and I mumbled, never mind. 'Hu? Oh, oh,' Roda tried to understand what I was talking about, but he didn't. Beomhan was giggling in the background, because he understood, but was trying to keep quiet for Roda.
'Aren't many Koreans scared they are going to die with the air conditioner on?'
Beomhan tried to explain and Roda laughed. He understood what I was talking about and thought it was a funny superstition. He told me, 'Oh, it's okay,' so we could move on.
'Okay, good.'
'I will, be safe.' He continued to chuckle.
'Ya, you gotta stay safe from the fans in your room.' It wasn't intended to be a pun, but they kept joking on lives about Beomhan being MONT's biggest fan. Maybe he did have to worry about a fan in his room at night.
'And these days, we have a new song.'
'Ya, I'm so excited.'
'Sun's Up.'
'Roda, are you working on anything for yourself?' He had clearly been trying to support Beomhan, but he should also continue to promote by himself.
'Uh, yes. But, secret.' He leaned forward to the screen.
I knew it was a secret, 'Of course.'
'Sorry.' And he really was.
'It's okay. I keep wondering if there were any videos of you rapping in China. Because, weren't you rapping at competition when Jina and Narachan found you? Are there any videos from that?'
'Oh, I have videos, but,' He spoke Korean to Beomhan, but I caught him say hand phone.
'On his cellphone,' Beomhan translated. Beomhan, I knew what that was. My Korean is clearly better than yours. Roda could have said that to me. 'Yea he has them, but on his cell phone.'
'Yes,' Roda continued, 'But the phone is broken.'
'Oh, no.'
'So, next time, if I have a chance, I want to...' he spoke Korean again, but mimed using a screw driver.
'Fix it?' I piped in.
'Ya, fix it.'
'Ya, that's okay.' I was ready to change the subject, 'Painting last night, two nights ago, was so much fun.'
'Ya, did you...' I pulled out my painting, proud to show Roda what I had done. He always liked to see what I had made. 'Ooo, wow! Beomhan, come look.' Roda called him over and he looked over Roda's shoulder. Roda was shocked and surprised to see my painting for Sun's Up.
'Woah! Yo! It's better than mine.' Beomhan exclaimed.
'I re-did my clouds like five times. I wasn't happy with my clouds. But Roda, the next time we paint, you have to paint something that is not blue with a circle.'
'Hahah,' Both Roda and Beomhan cracked up laughing. I was glad Roda understood right away.
'Everything is blue with a circle.' Narachan's orange with a blue background and now painting Beomhan's sun with a blue sky.
'Okay, next time, I will draw a triangle.'
'Okay, trees.' That would be a good idea.
'Blue with orange circle. Blue with yellow circle.' I listed off the paintings we had been doing together.
'Yes, next time red with black circle.'
'Great,' and we all laughed together.
'Okay, next time I will paint other art.'
The bell rang, but something had been bugging me, so I wanted to tell him quickly. 'Roda, before you go, quick questions. Can you do me a favor? That mint pillow, can you turn it the right way up? It's been driving me crazy that it is sideways.' The pillow that I had given Roda last year that said, We are MINT to be together, had fallen on it's side a few weeks ago in the background of his live.
'Hu?' Roda didn't understand because I said it so quickly. His eyes widened as the stared into the camera, trying to understand.
'I'll explain later,' Beomhan spoke up, encouraging Roda to leave.
'Bye, Roda! Love you so much. Take care.' Roda gave me a hand heart and looked through it with his eyes. He stood up, giving my finger hearts and waving, '안녕.' He said to me and disappeared to the side of the screen.
'Bye, bye.' I said one final time to him.
Beomhan stepped into the camera, swinging his leg over the seat to sit down both awkwardly and smoothly at the same time. The Riker sit. 'Hello.'
'Hi, Beomhan,' I said calmly. I wasn't worried to talk to him like I usually was to talk to MONT.
'Hello Sophia. Oh, Hello.' He seemed a little shocked to talk to me. We had just said hi during the high touch, so I wasn't really sure why.
'Hi,' I said again, hoping to calm him down a little bit.
He sat back and waved again, 'Hi.'
He wasn't going to say anything, so I started in, 'I'm so excited to meet you.'
'This is our first time meeting?' He asked. It seemed like we had known each other for ages because I had known of him for well more than a year. Of course he knew my name, but I wasn't really sure how other than from the high touch. But he also seemed surprised that this was our first time talking. It felt like we had known each other for ages. He had seen so many of the American fans, but because I lived in Korea, we just hadn't had the chance yet.
'I know. We were supposed to meet last year, in February, but then Corona happened.'
'No!' He didn't believe it.
'I was supposed to go to the event in Hongdae, but then it was cancelled.' He might not remember it, but there was an event scheduled for his birthday in 2020. Even though I think of ACE's concert as the first event that I had cancelled for Covid on Valentine's Day, Beomhan's birthday part was really first. I had been so thankful his event was cancelled. I had been panicking over having to see Narachan again in person because of how he had been treating me. I didn't even know if Narachan would have been there, but I was glad that it was cancelled.
'Oh no! So many bad things happened because of the C word. We don't like the C word around here.' It was strange to hear Beomhan talk like it was a swear word. I don't swear, but he does. Why was he holding back when talking to me? Was he already trying to create a 'pure boy' image for himself? He wasn't and we all knew it. He was the trouble maker and that was why the American fans were flocking to him.
'I know,' I wined. 'But we have to hope that it gets better soon so that when you debut, I can come see your debut performance, okay?' I was clearly ready to support him and add him to my collection of boys I supported. I might feel like a cougar sometimes, but if I could support a nice boy and have them be kind to me, it seemed like a good way to go.
Beomhan was understanding what I meant. He pointed to the camera, accepting me, 'Nice, nice, nice.'
'Yup, that's the plan.'
'Aren't you here in Korea right now?'
'Ya, I am. I'm about an hour away from you guys.' He didn't need to know exactly where I was. He probably didn't really know Seoul well anyways.
'Oh, that's far.'
'An hour?' Did he really think that was far? When I lived in the states, I would drive 3 hours some days on my way home from work simply because of how bad traffic was. They were much closer to me than that.
'Ya, that's so far. That's like 60 minutes!' He started laughing at his own joke of, wow, math! He isn't the sharpest pencil in the box, so he took joy in his own smarts.
'I'm still in Seoul.' I said simply so he had a reference for how close I was from him.
'Oh.'
'Seoul is huge.'
'I didn't know that.' He said a bit solemnly but still cracked up laughing at his own ignorance. 'You know more about this place than I do.' He was very much a newcomer to Korea.
'Ya, when did you actually come to Korea the first time? Cus, if you've been a trainee for two years, you might have come here around the same time that I did.'
'Oh, it was like November.'
'Oh, so not a whole two years yet.'
'Ya,' he replied simply.
'That's okay.' I have been wondering what his timeline of being a trainee really looked like. He wasn't as far ahead as he probably should have been for how much he was now interacting with fans.
'So, how you been?'
There was a crash behind me. I sighed, 'My cat's making a ruckus down the hall.'
'You have a cat?' It was nice to see that his ADHD was quick to jump topics when I jumped as well, not answering his question.
'I do. Her name...'
He cut me off, 'We have a dog. Do you know about our Dog?' Well I guess his ADHD had positives and negatives to the quick jumps. I guess I couldn't tell him about my cat.
'I love Pudding so much. He's the cutest puppy in the world!'
'He got a haircut recently. That was fun. He got a haircut, and he like always wears a shirt now because he doesn't have any fur. And when we take off the shirt, he gets shy and hides in places. He's really cute.'
I covered my mouth trying to hold back the giggles of cuteness. 'Oh my goodness.' I looked around for Sapphire, still wanting to try to talk about her with Beomhan.
'We have a song coming out on...'
I cut him off this time, 'Sun's Up! On July 2nd, at noon 12 P.M. KST.' I rattled off the saying he had on repeat in his mind that he said over and over on his lives.
'Wow, you're good.' He was shocked and laughed nervously. He was going to have to get used to me. If he wanted to keep up with me, he was going to have to get up earlier. There was no keeping things from me. I was the person that knew everything. Maybe this was why he knew about me well before this call. I am a unique fan for them.
'The competition last night shouldn't have been answer the questions. It should have been guess what the questions were.' Maybe this comment would get him to realize that they had to step things up to be ahead of fans. Their commentary during the painting live was only mediocre, but it was just because we had all been around for so long now.
'Oh, would you have won?'
'Probably.' We both paused, not knowing what to say, so I simply said, 'It was fun.'
'Ya,' He didn't know what to say and suddenly it sounded like he was saying goodbye already. 'It was really nice meeting you. It is like, very nerve wracking for me. I'm pretty sure, it's like, you've done more of this than I have. I'm like your fan. Hello.' He waved real quick. He was so casual and suddenly became awkward.
I giggled at his awkwardness. 'I don't know. It's still always nerve wracking to me.' I remembered that I had something to tell him from months ago. 'I sent you a letter back in February. Do you know if you got it? It might just be floating around the office somewhere.'
'Oh.' He looked at staff curiously to see if they had any idea what had happened to the letter. 'We'll look for it.'
'Ya, I sent it with chocolate that everybody ate.' Beomhan was supposed to return to Korea before he did, so I had hoped he would get my letter and get to try the chocolate back in February that I sent for the whole office to try.
'Eh, except for me.' He looked at the staff or Roda with a little upset, but smiling look on his face.
'Do you want some chocolate? The chocolate shop I got it from is like four blocks from you guys. It's really good. You guys should go there.'
'Oh, okay.'
'It's called Coco Dada.'
He said something about going for a walk around the block to see it. 'Thanks, Sophia.'
'It's kind of expensive chocolate, but really good.' I realized afterwards that it sounded like I was bragging, but I was trying to give him clear expectations if he went and found that the chocolate was out of his budget to buy.
'Oh, thank you.' He said realizing that it wasn't something random that I had sent, but it was intentional. I pulled a bar out from the side of my desk to show him what it looked like.
'Is that Mont in the back?' He was distracted, but came back to see what I was holding, 'Oh the,' His eyes widened seeing the chocolate. 'Is that it??
'Ya, this is the chocolate, ya.'
'Oh, wow that looks cool.'
'It's good chocolate.'
'It would be nice if I ate it.' He stung his glare to the staff again, but still smiled. The bell rang and Beomhan leaned back in his chair and stretched his arms up, finally relaxing now that we were finishing, 'Oh. Okay. Alright. It was really nice meeting you.'
'It was really nice meeting you, too, Beomhan. I'll see you tonight. You do a great job tonight, okay?' There would be another fan meeting, and a final high touch to finish the day.
'Thank you.' His mouth opened in shock when I said I would see him tonight and he pointed to the screen, focused. 'I'll talk to you tonight?'
'Ya. I'm gonna come again tonight, cus you're awesome.' I partially whispered to him, like it was a secret to encourage him.
'Okay. Bye.'
'Love you so much, Beomhan. Bye.' I felt a little uncomfortable saying it, but I knew I had to if I wanted to try to build some closeness with him as well.
'Goodbye.' We both waved at each other.
That was it. Beomhan was officially on his way and now he had met me for the first time. Who knows what would come next for him, but I was officially one of his first fans.
I ordered some dinner while I waited for the evening fan meeting to start. The fan meeting itself, was much like the first one, and because I had been picked to ask a question during the first one, I assumed they wouldn't pull my number the second time, so I didn't record until it was time for my high touch, to say goodnight to them.
When I was popped into the high touch room, after the fan meeting, while I turned on my camera and microphone, Beomhan saw my photo and he began plotting. He jumped up from where they were sitting and moved off the screen. Of course, he didn't realize that I could already see him doing this, but he was planning something interesting and special for me.
'Hi guys,' I said while Beomhan was still vacating the screen. I was too fast for him. Roda just sat there, staring at the screen, unsure of what Beomhan had planned. I got my camera turned on, 'Oh, hi.'
'Hi again, Sophia!' Roda announced when he saw me.
Beomhan walked onto the screen, 'Is that Sophia? Oh, oh Sophia.'
'Hi,' I said quickly.
'I have been waiting to see you all day.' Beomhan came up to the camera, hand out stretched like he would shake my hand.
Roda couldn't hold it in and he cracked up laughing. I just scowled at Beomhan, a smile on my face still from him being silly. We all laughed and I said, 'You guys are the best.'
They both gave me thumbs up, for no clear reason, and Beomhan spoke quickly. 'Welcome back. Did you like this show better or other one?'
The bell already was ringing to finish, so I tried to answer promptly, 'Uh, I really don't know. They were both great.' They both pointed at the screen in unison waiting for my answer. 'The, uh, video was better the second time. I think the WiFi was better.'
Oh what an impact Beomhan was having on Roda. While I spoke, Beomhan pulled Roda into a pose. They both awkwardly tried to pose with their arms crossed, back to back, but kept failing as the other changed poses to try to match. It was a mess and I tried to be serious, but they were just playing. That was what I wanted after all, silly boys to play with.
'Ya, so cool, guys.' I commented on their pose when they finally figured it out.
'Oh, nice,' Beomhan responded to the better WiFi, and they both gave me thumbs up again. What geeks they were with their thumbs up every few seconds. 'We moved it a little bit to the left. I'm sure that's why.'
'Ya, ya. I'm sure that was what made all the difference,' I replied sarcastically to his comment.
'Thank you, Sophia,' Beomhan said. 'Thank you. See you next time,' Roda squeezed in.
'Awah, I love you guys. Sleep well. See you next week.' And we all waved to each other together as our cameras turned off.
This was going to be a good year with them. I could get through it, even if I didn't have Narachan by my side. These two would keep me laughing when they could.
