"Saf you look gorgeous," Jedz complimented.
"Thanks, you aren't too bad yourself,"I responded showing the least excitement as possible.
Walking into the ice-cream parlor, there was filled with different squads, but my eyes caught the attention of one person who was no other than Dianne and some other jocks.
Jedz noticed them and winked and wave them and they did in return
Isn't that girly?
We took a sit at the back corner of the parlor. We scrutinized the menu, seeing that not only ice-cream was available but cake, punch and other interesting deserts.
I watched Jedz look at the menu and I let out a chuckle, knowing the surprise he was in for.
"What's funny?," he questioned
"Your embarrassment," I mumbled quietly.
"What?" He asked quickly
"The menu" I answered in a panic tone.
The menu? What could be more foolish than saying the menu is funny. I didn't want him to find out about his surprise treat so I had to come up with something quickly.
We each ordered a three layered ice cream cone with the flavors: chocolate, M&M and rum and raisin.
After devouring the ice cream, I realized that it was time for the treat.
"Jedz can we go to the center table, it's a bit chilly at the back," I said with a slight grin on my fair face
He agreed and we went. He sat there with no clue what was going to happen.
I broke the silence by saying, "why don't we play a game, it was basically for you to close your eyes as tight as possible and I get you something"
He nodded as shut his eyes.
"Remember, no matter what happens you can't open your eyes," I delivered.
He nodded.
I quickly went to the counter and ordered three glasses of punch and five cupcakes.Once my order was complete the bar tender brought me my orders and I told him, "Thanks and the bill should go straight to Jedz Cole, who is sitting and that table," as I pointed to the table Jedz was at.
I made two trips in order to carry all the things I ordered. IT WAS TIME!!!!!
I put the cupcakes in front of Jedz and sprinkled on them the pepper that was set on the table. I went to the back of Jedz and pushed his head into the cupcakes. He quickly rose from his sit and blurted the words, "What the hell."
His face was smooshed with cake and the pepper went into his eyes making them turn read.
I quickly took the three glasses of punch and poured it on his flawless hair. Adding a slap across his face leaving my hands with cake.
I was really happy when I noticed the entire parlor looking at us. Most of them were teenagers who attended our school.
" Don't take me for one of your desperate brats or should I say hoes.Next time you'll think how quiet I am and change your mind as to what you have to do. I guess this should tell you I found out about your little plan and in return I made my own," I blurted out before storming out of the parlor.
As I left I heard comments such as:
"Jedz see what they did you. Player!!!"
One said as she killed herself laughing
"It serves you right," another said
"You are the joke of the century now" a jock mentioned.
