It's been a few days into my winter break from college, constantly seeing family especially my parents has been a bit draining. My mom isn't too great and all so I needed a break. I'm walking to the cat cafe down town, I come here quite frequently, even during finals just to find some stress relief. The drinks and food here are surprisingly good for such a low price. Especially with the fact that there's animals you get to pet while you're eating. The winter makes this even better, I've always found beauty in the serene quiet of snowfall. I can feel the fresh snow crunching and compacting beneath my boots, It's really the only sound that I can hear. There aren't any cars rushing beside me like usual, which is strange because it's downtown in the early afternoon. You'd think there'd be more people out here, but most are huddled inside of the little restaurants and shops that line the streets.
