A Shadow on Ithilien

Alone in what once was the Garden of Gondor

Feeling the Shadow on the East creeping closer by the day, I do not know how I have wandered to the land of Ithilien. In this ever growing darkness the once called Garden of Gondor is still beautiful. Walking through the woods I somehow feel the Third Age to be passing soon, as only Gondor seems to stand openly against the power of the Dark Tower. I do not even dare to think of the name of the Lord of the Land of Darkness, as I feel His fingers have already crept so far and poisoned the land I am walking on now. I wonder if this fear is the way He collects not just the orc hordes, but men and dwarves under His flags. I can not imagine how long Gondor, which has shrunk so small and lost most of its ancient power, will stand as the guard against the Darkness. But alas, such worrisome thoughts should not darken my heart, while there is still hope lingering in Gondor and its allies. Gondor will never fall until there stays a Steward in the White Tower, and our fearless Captain-General, Boromir and his brother, Faramir fight the army of the Dark Land off. As my thoughts clear up the forest is also getting lighter while I am walking towards where I guess Anduin flows...
