Chapter 11~ Runaways

~Flashback~
"Damn it Shane why can't you do anything right!" My father always threatens to make my older brother beta and me alpha even though I'm suppose to be his beta. Right now Shane's getting yelled at for not killing a pack of rogues that were just passing.
I take after my father being hot headed and always getting into fights, Shane is like his mother he's kind, and understand, but one thing that comes from neither is his submissiveness and for an alpha that's not good.
"Shane you did the right thing," my mother told him after my fathers big blow up.
"Yea sure," he grumbled lowering his head dragging his feet to his room. I follow after him.
"Shane," I reach for his hand, he let's me hold him tugging me along after him. He leads me to his room, opening the door for me.
He pulls me into a hug squeezing me tightly. "You know how much you mean to me Clio, your the reason I'm staying here why can't we leave? Please I want to leave with you!"
"Alright, I'll go with you." I snuggle into his chest.
"I love you Clio," he lifts my face to his, I push up on my toes kissing him.
A few hours later we were leaving, running full throttle away from everything.

"Who the hell are you?" A girl shorter than me maybe 5'6 was standing in front on us.
"Were staying the night then passing through, I'm sorry about trespassing."
"Hmmm my alpha may not like this, stay put I'm calling him." She dials and then starts bickering with him about us. "Alright are y'all the runaways that the alpha from the next couple packs over was yelling about?"
I think about a response,"yes, please don't turn us in."
"What! No never we hate them!"
"Ok... So we'll just leave then."
"No I'm instructed to make you guys apart of our pack, so let's go!"
"Um," I looked up at Shane he nodded down to me."Yea ok."
~Now~
A smell lingered down the stairs, it was like freshly baked sugar cookies. The owner of the smell came down, he was huge, like Shane with giant muscles, black-brown hair, and deep chocolate eyes. I almost attacked him.
Then a boy about my height came down following him, latching onto my mates arm! "Hi I'm Drew the alpha, and this is Leo my luna." He says ripping my heart out.
"Nice to meet you I'm Clio, this is my older brother Shane." I force back my pain.
"Um Trixi show them the open room, please. Thank you." He instructed, we followed the Trixi girl to a room. We stepped in and I locked the door.

"Shane!"
"Yea," he says unpacking.
"He's my mate." Shane's head snaps around fast, his eyes widen.
"There's no fucking way! He's mated and having two mates is slim!"
"Yea but I know it's him." He freezes looking at me confused.
I grab him snuggling into his chest, "what am I gonna do?" I look up at him helpless and he shrugs.
