Okay! Sorry about that! It's just... really weird... ANYWAYS!
It was my turn to ask someone a truth or dare. And for some reason I set my mind on 'Tratie'. I knew Travis and Katie liked each other, everyone else knew they liked each other, the only ones that didn't know that they liked each other was them! So now I was going to use this little game to start a flame, a big, beautiful flame of feels!
AGH!
Too much Aphrodite!! TOO MUCH!!
Alright, I'll admit, I do like making love for others, but that doesn't mean that I accept my mom... she broke my dad's heart and she just left him with a child who had to grow up not knowing who her mother was, and then find out that her own father didn't even know who she was! I mean... what mother does that? Like,... seriously?
OKAY OKAY! Enough about me. On to Tratie!
I locked eyes with Travis and Katie. I couldn't decide who to choose. If I choose Travis, I could dare him to kiss Kaite! Or if he said truth, I could ask him if really likes her! But, if I choose Katie, I could make her do the same thing! But to Travis... UGH! I couldn't decide!
Hmm... okay, I think I've made up my mind, "Katie! Truth or dare?"
She looked up, a little surprised, "Me? Um... dare...?"
I raised an eyebrow, "Are you sure?"
She suddenly looked nervous, "No! Uh.. truth!"
"Really? Hm..." I gave her a smile
"No! Dare! No! Truth! No! Oh I don't know!"
Travis looked at her, "Hey, just pick one, no pressure. Take your time." they smiled at each other, then when they noticed everyone smiling at them, they both turned red and quickly looked at their shoes.
Aw... they're so cute... AGH! Again! Too much mommy influence... okay, just chill.
"Katie! I'll decide for you." I said.
"No! I mean... thanks, but uh... I'll go with dare."
"Dare? Okay then! Come over here!" I motioned to her.
She turned towards Travis then very slowly and very reluctantly got up and walked over to me. We walked to the cabin door so no one could hear the dare.
I leaned in and whispered, "Dare?"
She looked very nervous now, "Y-yes..?"
"Okay then!" I shrugged and continued to whisper in her ear, "I know you like Travis, most of us do," her eyes widened and she blushed, "so I dare you..." *pause for dramatic effect* "to kiss him!"
Her eyes almost popped, her face red as the strawberries we grew in the field, and her jaw dropped.
She caught her breath, "What? Uh.. who?"
"Travis"
"What about him...?"
"Kiss him."
"Kiss who?"
Okay, now she was stalling, "Travis! Kiss Travis!"
"Oh..." she started mumbling, "Well.. you see... there are lots of Travis's-"
"STOLL! TRAVIS STOLL!" I whisper-yelled...
She turned red again and looked at her shoes and twirled her hair, "Oh.. hehe.. that Travis.."
I turned her around and everyone was watching us, "Okay! Do It!" I gave a little shove.
She gulped and darted her eyes away from Travis, "Uh.." she whispered to me, "which one is Travis again?"
I rolled my eyes, "The one you were sitting next to..."
"No no, hehe... I'm pretty sure that was Connor.."
"Nooooo..." I sighed, "Connor's the idiot with purple hair remember? You and Travis did it to him..." I winked at her and shoved her a little more towards Travis.
She gulped again then pulled my arm and we faced the cabin door again, "Can I switch to truth?!"
I raised an eyebrow, "Well then, do you have a crush on Travis?" I crossed my arms and smirked at her.
She bit her lip, "There's no getting out of this is there...?"
"Nope!" I smiled, "Just do the dare, we all know you like him... aaaand... if it helps, I know he likes you back..."
Her eyes widened, she blushed, and I saw a little smile forming, "R-really?!" she bit her lip, "H-he does?!"
I shrugged, "Hey, it's your choice to believe me or not..., but then again, I am a daughter of Aphrodite. But your choice! Just do the dare." with that I walked back to my seat and waited for Katie to make her move.
She stood there, kind of frozen... her back was facing us, so I couldn't see her face, but I could see she was twirling her hair. Then she stood straight and put her hands by her side. She fixed her hair and turned to face us. She slowly made her way to Travis. She looked pretty calm, and she put her hand out. Travis looked a little confused. He took her hand and stood up. As soon as their hands touched, they both turned red.
Travis stared at thier locked hands, "Uh..." but he was cut off. Katie tip-toed and pecked his cheek. She quickly let go of his hand and sat back down, staring at the floor.
Travis's eyes were wide open now, his face as red as Katie's, "U-uh...uh...uh.." That was literally all he could say as he stood there, frozen. Then Connor got up and shoved his brother to his butt. He was now sitting next to Katie. Both their faces were red and both found the dirty floor of Percy's cabin to be quite interesting. But I saw them both fight the urge to smile. Katie kept pursing her lips and Travis was biting his lip. Aw... they're so cute... My work here is done!
Everyone stared at the both of them. The cabin was completely silent. Everyone had wide eyes and some with open jaws. But they soon turned to smiles.
Leo was first to break the silence, "WELL! It's about time!"
Connor was next, "Nice going bro!" he slapped Travis on the back.
Travis was still red, he looked up at his purple-haired brother, "... shut up..." everyone laughed.
Annabeth air-fived me, "Tratie, check!" and she drew a check mark with her finger in the air.
I am so good!
Then Leo clapped his hands, "ALRIGHT! Jason my good bro, it's your turn!"
Jason looked up, "Me already?"
Percy shot to his feet, "Not yet!"
Jason looked at him, "Why?"
"Be-cauuuse..."
"Because what?"
"... I got to go to the bathroom..." and with that Percy ran to the other side of the cabin and slammed the bathroom door shut.
Annabeth sighed and face palmed, "..yup.. that's my seaweed brain.."
Everyone laughed.
