Thunder falls upon deaf ears,
And lightning increases fears.
The storm rages on,
Like a heavenly battle going strong.
Rain falls,
And glass rattles.
It still pours,
And glass shatters.
Heaven's war drum beats,
And lightning rains in sheets.
The battle still rages,
Even when the rain wanes.
It's not over,
Not even close,
But the rain has stopped,
And a rainbow shines.
