Hi everyone! I know, I know, I haven't updated in a week and a half. But don't kill me, because I have big plans that you won't know about if you kill me. I'm in Bodrum right now, which is really nice for a place with a name that translates to basement. The next chapter will be up either today or tomorrow, depending on if I write it in time. The next one will be Hermione's and will have a major time skip. (Phew!)

I stared as flames crept up Leo's arm. "Uh, Leo?"
Leo finally noticed and the flames went out in a puff of smoke.
Ginny's mouth drifted open and she yelped, "Merlin's beard!"
Katherine looked up from correcting Jordan Denner's Patronus and said, "Ginny? Is something wrong?"
"Leo's hand is- was- on fire," Ginny said, alarm written all over her freckled face.
Katherine circled Leo, examining both of his hands. I mentally smacked myself. I shouldn't have let Leo get frustrated.
Katherine said, "Ginny, Leo would have some evidence of a fire. Soot, burns, something. Are you feeling alright?"
"I know what I saw." Ginny folded her arms stubbornly. She looked like a ginger-haired Thalia. "And I'm going to prove it to you."

Ginny continued to insist that Leo's hand had been on fire. Frequently, she walked up to Leo during class to ask if he was alright.
Even charmspeak didn't seem to deter her. When Piper told Ginny, "Leo's hand wasn't on fire. You were just seeing things," Ginny looked Piper at like she was insane. But we all know that charmspeak doesn't affect people with strong wills.
This continued the whole day, during classes, lunch, and even study period in the library.
After dinner, I sat between Piper and Reyna on a couch in the Gryffindor common room. Leo was perched on the arm of the couch, and Percy and Annabeth were having a heated argument about Charms.
Hazel was chatting with Nico and Frank about the Mythology teacher, Laura Nolan.
I watched Ginny with mounting horror as she whispered to Harry and his face grew white.
Reyna shook my shoulder and said, "Jason? Are you listening?"
"Hmmm?" I said. "Sorry, I wasn't paying attention."
Piper grinned, showing white teeth. "You've been staring at Ginny all day. Should I be worried?"
"I don't know," I teased. "Why don't you ask your mom?"
She made a face at me and smacked Leo's hand away from giving her bunny ears, causing him to topple exaggeratedly off the couch.
Ginny got up and I stopped laughing at Leo limping around. I sprang after her, following her to a corner of the common room.
"-Don't see why," said Hermione's voice.
"Hermione, I'm sure I saw it. Please, I'm only asking you to do a bit of research."
I shivered despite the warm September air, and hurried to tell my friends what I had heard.
