When I woke up I noticed I was on the floor. Last time I checked I made Avery sleep on the floor.
" Avery! " I yelled throwing my pillow at her as I get up off the floor
" What? " she laughs
" Don't what me, why the hell am I on the floor!? "
" Oh see what happened was..well nothing really happened I just kicked yo ass off the bed " she says laughing again
" Oh so you like kicking people now huh? " I say going over to her then climbs on the bed and immediately starts tickling her
" Chris stop you know what happened last time you did this " she says all serious
" Yea you right, but don't front. You know you enjoyed it " I say quickly kissing her cheek then run to the bathroom before she could hit me
" Gosh you get on my nerves! " I could her say as I laugh closing the door behind me

AVERY
I get up to find where my shoes were. I wonder if my parents are freaking out or trying to find where I am. I look at my phone to see I had no missed calls.
" Damn I don't love y'all either " I say to myself then someone knocks on the door
" Chris what I tell you about locking doors in my house! Open up " his mom bangs on the door. I panic and run in the bathroom where Chris was taking a shower
" Avery I knew you couldn't resist,come here " he laughs moving the shower curtain out the way. I immediately turn around before I saw his whole naked body
" Chris I'm not in here for you, your moms at the door"
" So , open the door " he says in a duh way. I walk out closing the door behind me. I don't know why I'm tripping anyways we didn't do anything. I walk over to the door unlocking it
" Chris I shou- Avery? " She says
" H-hi Ms Joyce " I hesitantly say as she walks in at the same time as Chris comes out the bathroom with a towel around him
" What's going on in here? " she asks raising her eyebrows
" OMG mom here we go again! " Chris yells going over to his dresser to get some clothes then going back in the bathroom
" Avery did you and my son have...you know " she says I knew exactly what she meant
" Of course not! We're just friends " I said as my face began turning red in embarrassment
" Oh thank goddess I knew you were a sweat young lady " she laughs. I fake laugh with her
" But how come you slept over here without me knowing? "
" Right, Um Ch- " I began but gets cut off by Chris
" Avery shutup! " he yells at me
" Chris you shut the hell up and stop being rude! " his mom yells back
" Man whatever Avery lets go I'm taking you home " he says storming out the room
" Sorry about that we'll talk another time,but please don't let him talk to you like that cause he ain't nobody " she says giving me a hug causing both of us to laugh as we walk out the room

" So are you gonna take me home or not? " I say getting frustrated because we were just sitting in the car for about 20 minutes in the parking lot completely silent . He doesn't say anything just starts the car then backs out the driveway
" Chris seriously what's your problem? " I ask hoping he would stop being petty and would answer me. He still doesn't say anything just turns the radio up
After about 35 minutes of driving to my house we finally made it. He stops right in front of my house and turns the car off staring at me all weird
" What? " I ask
Soon as he was about to say something he stops and shakes his head telling me to get out. I get out the car shutting the door behind me. I walk up to the front door then knock twice. My mom opens the door while I turn around to see Chris car pulling off. I go inside heading straight upstairs to get ready for the day

Every since we moved out here I had no where to go, no one to really talk to, and nothing to do. Avery was the only person I could think of. Even though I was mad at her right now I could count on her doing anything with me. It's like we met for a reason.
Since I didn't have anything else to do I decided to just go back home and finish writing this song I've been working on. It took me about 10 minutes to get to my house by the way I was driving. I got out locking the doors and walking towards the house where David was coming out
" Sup son " he says
" Sup " I say walking pass him. I didn't have time to correct him for the thousandth time
" Ma where you at I'm hungry! " I yell out walking in the kitchen
" Stop all that yelling, I have a headache " she says. She was sitting at the table
" Sorry but what you cooking today I'm starving " I ask taking a seat next to her
" I'm not sure. I'm not really in the mood " she sighs
" Okay hope you feel better, I'll be upstairs if you need me " I say kissing her cheek then heading upstairs

" Fuck! " I yell out of frustration throwing another sheet of paper. Thinking of things to write is actually hard at times. Then I thought about how I actually felt. That's when words started blurting out my mouth
" Hey little mama, ooh your a stunner, hot little figure, yes your a winner, and I'm so glad to be yours... "
I don't know where those words came from, but I wrote them down. It almost felt like it was about Avery.
I shook the thought off and pulled out my phone to call her. I put her contact in my phone a while ago but she doesn't have mine.
" Hello? " she answers
" Wassup Avery " I start smiling really hard
" Who is this? " she asks
" Chris. You can't tell by my voice? " I chuckle
" No. How you get my number? "
" I'll tell you when I get there in like ten minutes " I quickly said then hung up
I grab my notebook and pen along with my keys then head down stairs
" Mom I'll be back later " I said walking over to her
" Where are you going. Aren't you gonna stay for dinner? " she asks
" No I'm gonna eat at Averys "
" Oh okay have fun " she says looking away from me
" Ma it ain't even like that. Your not even feeling well you need to get some rest "

I pull in the driveway then get out the car walking towards the door. I knocked three times before someone answered it
" Chris I didn't actually think you would come " She rolls her eyes while letting me in
" If you know me, you should know that I would " I wink a her then kisses her cheek
" Stop fuc- " she says but stops when her mom joins us
" Oh hi Chris I didn't know you were coming by. I just finished making dinner " she says giving me a side hug
" Exactly what I came for " I said making a evil smile while rubbing my hands together
" Now I know you didn't come here just to eat my food " Avery says crossing her arms
" Nah I came here to show you this song I was working on, but now that you mention it I can eat "

" Yo where your mom learn to cook like that? That shit was banging " Chris says taking a seat at my computer desk
" How should I know? Ask her " I said flopping on my bed
" Whatever anyways I want you to hear this song I was working on " He says opening his notebook
" Okay let's hear it " I say sitting up on the bed
" Okay first I want you to read it " he says joining me on the bed. I take the notebook from him then look over the words he wrote down.
" Chris its kind of hard to really understand how the song goes if no one sings it" I said giving him the notebook back. He looked at me sceptic
" Come on just sing it's not that hard " I reassured him placing my hand on his shoulder
" I never said it was hard. " he snaps back
" Okay take your time then " I said putting my handing up. Then that's when he starts singing

" Chris your voice is so amazing! I didn't know you could sing like that " I said cutting him off. I was way to hype
" Thanks I guess " he says not sounding excited at all
" What's wrong? " I ask concerned
" Nothing I just can't think of what the next verse should be " he says
" let me see " I said taking the notebook from him. I looked over what he had written down remembering its rhythm
" How bout, ohh little cutie when you talk to me " I sung playing around tho
" Nah that's perfect and then the next line can go like, I swear the whole world stops, you are my sweetheart and I'm so glad that your mine, you are one of a kind and...." He sung while his eyes were closed. As for me being the one who has a thing for Chris, I felt like the words he was saying were to me.
He slowly opens his eyes immediately connecting with mine. A smile creeps on his face as I look away. He always does this to me, finding a way to make me blush
" Avery can I ask you something? " he asks me. I nod my head
" How come every time our eyes lock, you look away from me " he says, but I don't answer him because he was staring at me right now
" No I don't " I say with an attitude so he could think I was being serious
" Avery yes you do, especially when I do this " he says grabbing my face to where our noses were close to touching. I try to look down, but his hand was still held on to me forcing me to keep eye contact
" See what I mean, you just tried to look away! " his voice changed to being aggravated or angry. He lets my face go standing up from the bed
" Sorry " I whispered. He sighed sitting back down
" Man..what are you doing to me? " he says putting his hands on his head
" What do you mean? " I ask looking up at him
" Avery you putting me in my feelings and shit. Making me look soft " he said laughing.
" Thats cause you are " I said causing both of us to laugh
