Vic. That's all that was on my mind. I didn't care about band camp right now. Vic made me so happy. But he would never like me. Besides, I don't even think he's.... gay....
Even if he was, why would he like someone as screwed up as me? We're best friends. Sure. But he doesn't know what my life was like at home. We've only hung out at his place or in public at the mall or some other place.
"Kellin!!!" Someone screamed. I'm not sure who it was. "KELLIN GET DOWN HERE!" The same voice yelled. Gabe. It was Gabe, of course😂.
"Wh-what?" I asked still tired.
"Come down here." Gabe said. He came into my room. We were roommates. Finally I got up and as I got down the stairs the front door was wide open and I could hear a deep voice talking.
"OH MY GOD! ANDY!!!!!! HOW THE HELL ARE YOU HERE?! Andy was my best friend 2 years ago. He moved away because his dad got a job far away. We haven't seen each other in so long!
"Well. I live here now!" Andy stated.
"WHAT?! What street? Is it close to here?" I shouted.
"You could say that....Kellin I'm going to be moving in with you guys!"
I was speechless. I just hugged him.
Vic's Pov
I slept at Kellin and gabes house last night. I have been staying with them for a week now. life at home has been rough. we are struggling with money ever since my dad walked out on us and my mom lost her job. I figured if I got out of the house for a bit she could concentrate on getting a good paying job. without a music obsessed teenager running around the house.
besides, Kellin and gabe are 2 of my really close friends and they offered. and if I was sleeping in the same house.... and room as Kellin, I was totally okay with that.
in Kellins room there is a couch that turns into a bed. I sleep on that.
we have late night conversations about our lives. tonight I was planning on telling him that I was gay and how I felt about him.
I didn't want to worry about this. right now I just wondered what all the noise was downstairs.
I walked down there to find a very attractive boy. he looked about our age. he was cute but I wasn't interested.
"hey. nice pjs" the boy said. "I'm Andy. an old friend of Kellins. I'm moving in"
I thanked him for complimenting my pjs and introduced myself.
I thought to myself
great. I probably can't tell Kellin tonight because he will be busy with Andy.
