*Charlotte's P.O.V*
It was just an ordinary school day, here in Sydney, Australia. It was hot, as usual, so I chose to wear a pair of cute, black, high waisted shorts, and a flowing pink crop top. I was jogging to my locker to grab my books before heading to my first lesson of the day, science. But I stopped quickly in my tracks as soon as I heard their voices. My bullies. My ex-best friend.
"Hey, Charwhore." Chevonne sneered at me. "That outfit looks like it was picked out by a pig, then ran over by a truck." That's the last thing she said before they walked off laughing, which shocked me, they usually have more to say. I just stood there, staring at them, until I noticed he was staring back at me.
Michael Clifford. My ex-best friend. I used to be able to tell him anything and everything, until he started going out with Chevonne, then that all turned to shit, and I didn't like it. But, what can a girl do? I didn't want to start overthinking, so I grabbed my books, and walked to my first lesson.

*Michael's P.O.V*
I hated how Chevonne treated Charlotte, but she made me go along with it, or she threatened to break up with me, which is something I didn't want, but I always had a nagging feeling in the back of my mind that I should let her dump me. I've never felt more confused in my life.
I walked up to Charlotte, and looked down at her. She looked so innocent, and was so tiny, yet beautiful. I missed being her friend, but I had to please Chevonne.
"You know, maybe you'd have more friends, if you were able to stop whoring around. I don't see why anyone would possibly sleep around with you anyways." I knocked her notebook out of her hands, causing her to fall to her knees picking it up, and I noticed a single tear fall. Help her, Michael, do the right thing, I thought. I pushed the thought back, and walked away towards my group of friends.

*Charlotte's P.O.V*
I wasn't going to risk running into them again, so I went around the back of the school, I was maybe 50 steps away from the school when I bumped into my best friend, Luke Hemmings. I will admit. I thought he was as hot as the sun during July, but I couldn't let him know that.
"Hey, Charlotte," Luke said looking down at me, and wrapping his arm around me, "How was your day?"
"It was alright, I guess. But hey, I've been meaning to ask you all day, but could you come round mine? I need to talk to you." I asked, shyly, praying for a yes.
"Sure, I'll be round about half six." He nodded, as he gave me a hug, and he walked away.
