Opening

I never meant to stay in Amestris — let alone in Resembool — but fate, a very broken-down train, and one very short-tempered alchemist had other plans. I met Edward Elric on a rainy afternoon when I slipped in the mud and landed face-first in front of him, muttering apologies while trying not to cry. He offered me his coat with a sigh and muttered something about "clumsy weirdos falling from the sky." I didn't know it then, but that was the first moment he let someone in — and somehow, that someone was me.
